The best restaurants in Dublin

20/07/2026: The food was very nice and warm, the quality was pretty good and I’ve ordered quite a few times here already and the food were all delicious, the staffes were very nice & polite and I got my food very quickly. Would come again, and I’d recommend people to come here.

20/07/2026: One of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. I genuinely cannot understand how this restaurant believes this level of service is acceptable. I placed my order during normal business hours and then spent over two hours waiting for my food. Two hours. Not 30 minutes. Not an hour. Two full hours with virtually no communication, no meaningful updates, and absolutely no respect for my time. I was left staring at the order status, wondering if my food would ever arrive. After such an outrageous wait, I expected at least a freshly prepared, hot meal. Instead, I received food that was completely cold. Everything that should have been hot was stone cold. Crispy items had gone soft, the texture was ruined, and the overall presentation looked as though it had been sitting around for ages before finally being delivered. It was genuinely disappointing from the moment I opened the bag. To make matters even worse, the food itself wasn't even good. Had the meal been outstanding, I might have been willing to overlook some of the delay. Unfortunately, the quality was just as poor as the service. Bland flavours, average ingredients, and nothing remotely worth waiting two hours for. I honestly regret spending my money here. What is most frustrating is the complete lack of customer care. Delays happen—I understand that. Restaurants get busy. But leaving customers waiting for over two hours without proper communication is simply unacceptable. If you know you can't prepare or deliver food within a reasonable time, be honest. Give customers the opportunity to cancel instead of wasting their entire evening. Paying customers deserve hot food, reasonable service, and basic respect. This restaurant failed on every single one of those points. This experience completely ruined my evening. I was hungry, frustrated, and by the time the food arrived, it wasn't even worth eating. Waiting that long only to receive cold, disappointing food is beyond unacceptable. I will never order from this restaurant again, and I certainly won't recommend it to anyone. There are far too many restaurants that actually value their customers and provide food that's hot, fresh, and delivered within a reasonable time. If you're considering ordering from here, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. Save yourself the time, the money, and the disappointment. Absolutely unacceptable. One star is more than this experience deserved.

26/08/2026: Coffee is poor. Tables were all dirty, the one I chose was wildly unstable and my coffee spilled, adding to the mess. As I sit here, every unoccupied table is filthy. Sausage roll was tasty

02/10/2026: Evrything was good. However, price have inflated soooo high. Charging me 7 euro for a mocha frapp. Went to toilet but the blue light is so bad and smells like a tobacco factory.

19/09/2026: I’m disappointed with my experience at this Starbucks today. I came in as I normally do on the weekend to get my Frappuccino, which is something I look forward to as a little treat. Unfortunately, the interaction with the manager who was at the counter left me feeling very uncomfortable. When I went to order, I found his manner quite cold. I then paid in cash, and he asked me if I had smaller change because most people pay by card. I understand that asking for change can sometimes be necessary, but it was the way the question was asked, while he was looking towards my wallet, that made me feel extremely uncomfortable and judged. The interaction made me feel almost as though I was being treated with suspicion, rather than as an ordinary customer. I work 12-hour days myself, and regardless of how tired or busy I am, I always try to speak to people politely, with a smile, and use basic words like “please” and “sorry.” I expect the same level of courtesy when I’m spending my money somewhere. I’ve been coming here every weekend for my Frappuccino, but after this experience I’ll probably choose a different Starbucks branch. It’s a shame, because a small amount of basic warmth and courtesy would have made a big difference. Now he is smiling and could hear loudly the thank you and sorry. May be its my ethnicity, never again.

11/09/2026: AVOID, AVOID!! Overcharged me. The place has had no investment since the early 1990’s. The food premises is tired and run down. The food is mediocre at best. They can’t even brown the bread properly to obtain toast. To add insult to possible injury, the food is dull and basic. It’s also overpriced. If you want the ambience of Sid’s Cafe from Only Fools and Horses TV show, Boss Hogs, Clondalkin, Dublin, Ireland is it. Why visit this place when other food businesses offer better food, better portions at better prices and in nicer surroundings. This place has past its shelf life.

15/07/2026: My experience of BOSS HOGS in Clondalkin Village, AVOID!! Today I went on a walk with my 3.5 month old in his pram, he wasn’t due a bottle but as nature calls he looked for a bottle and I couldn’t find anywhere for shade, laurels wasn’t open, passed east village (would usually go here and they would have no problem if you buy or don’t buy but I get a coffee here every day) Sat outside, which was empty and started to feed my son as a girl came out and said “you can’t feed here babe” I said babe? Never asked me did I need a coffee or such. I went inside said to the manager that it’s so warm out I can’t find shade and human nature calls a baby needs to be fed and he said that wasn’t his problem it was for his customers only, I said she never once asked did I need anything but there is no such thing left of empathy around here no wonder businesses close with that attitude! I had to leave with my baby crying and hungry, I would have bought the whole shop and more if I had to feed him. Would always give my business to East Village, living in Monastery and on Maternity leave I buy a lot of coffees, they’re so accommodating with babies and mothers, unlike boss hogs which is clearly always empty anyway!!

27/09/2026: We ordered from Magic Wok last night and the food was delicious! Everything we ordered tasted great. There was a deal on to get a couple of free dishes and those were amazing too. The food felt fresh and we all felt good afterwards! No issues with ordering or collection!

10/09/2026: Great chinese takeaway - always really yummy food. Make sure you order direct from their website for the discount and as we're local we collect. Normally only 15-20min wait.

26/09/2026: Barbin the manager absolute legend really looked after me and my friend when we ordered. Customer service A1+ this man is a gentleman 👏 its people like this who make all the difference.

01/09/2026: Good experience today, staff very polite and positive. Reccomend going here. The place is very clean. Staff busy with an order but didn’t ignore us even if they did that would be okay. We all know how busy food industry can be. Both girls very kind and work good together.

25/04/2026: I wasn't satisfied with the portion sizes. If you want a regular portion, ask for double the toppings!

17/03/2026: Very poor service !!! Ordered online and supposed to be ready in 10 minutes. We arrived 15 minutes after the order went in and we still have to wait another 25 minutes in the shop. I won't recommend !

15/03/2026: They prioritise delivery orders over people that are actually waiting in line. If you don’t mind to wait 10 minutes to order (no one in-front of me) for an over priced food and coffee, this place is for you.

24/08/2026: The Black Forest cake I purchased from Manning Bakery, Blanchardstown, was unfortunately not up to the standard I expected. The overall taste felt somewhat artificial, and the cream did not taste fresh. The cherry filling in particular had a very unusual and unpleasant taste, which affected the overall experience. I have purchased cakes from Manning Bakery before, including the milk chocolate cake and the fresh cream fruit cake, and both were quite good. Unfortunately, this Black Forest cake was a significant disappointment compared with my previous experiences. I hope the bakery can look into the quality and freshness of the cream and cherry filling, as I have generally had a good impression of their cakes in the past.

02/08/2026: Ordered before a few times with no issues but this week ordered a cake for collection and sent my sister to pick it up on the 1/08/26, there was two young girls and when she approached to pick up the cake they seemed like they weren’t bothered about serving her, she gave them the order number and they gave her the cake without opening and showing her to confirm it was all correct, she gets home and they’ve printed the wrong custom photo for the cake, I tried calling multiples times but no response. Later I went in to fix the problem and they said I could buy a new plain cake and id have to call head office on Tuesday to try get a refund. I understand it’s not their fault as they don’t print them in house but I can only imagine how stressful this would be for a parent if the wrong design was on their cake for a child. Won’t be returning

18/09/2026: The place is clean and the food was okay. Some staff members are nice, but others are extremely rude. I placed my order at around 7:20 pm, but the attendant was visibly frustrated and angry. She barely answered my questions because, apparently, she needed to close the place, even though it was supposed to remain open until 8 pm. I honestly felt as though I was doing something wrong simply by choosing this place as the only available option for my meal. Customers should not be made to feel unwelcome when ordering during the advertised opening hours. Considering the amount of negative reviews about the service over the past few months, it seems that the brand itself has shown very little interest in improving the customer experience. Absolutely terrible service. I do not recommend this place, and I sincerely hope Westwood takes some action to address these ongoing issues with customer service.

11/09/2026: Really happy with my experience here! The sandwich was fresh, tasty, and made exactly how I wanted, but what really stood out was the excellent service from Angelina. She was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive from the moment I ordered. She was polite, patient, and made sure everything was prepared perfectly. Her warm attitude and genuine care for customers really made the experience stand out. You can tell Angelina takes pride in providing great service, and it definitely shows. Fantastic sandwich and exceptional customer service from Angelina — I’ll definitely be coming back!

19/02/2026: Absolutely horrible place. The owner walking around in sandals with his huge toenails exposed while you try to eat. Tables all sticky and dirty. Hygiene is completely absent here and any self respecting Irish person should avoid. I’m extremely ill after eating here!

29/05/2026: Worst delivery service ever !!! Every time when I need to order they cancelling my orders as the reason is to far but i live 3 km away. Shame .

30/04/2026: I had a very disappointing experience at Angleos Ballymun. We ordered a large chicken pizza, but the first order we received was a BBQ chicken pizza, which was not what we asked for. When we pointed this out, the staff acknowledged it and asked us to wait. After another 20 minutes, we were given a plain pizza with just chicken on it — still not what was shown on their menu. What made the situation worse was the interaction at the counter. The staff member insisted that “chicken pizza” means BBQ chicken pizza, even though the menu clearly lists a chicken pizza with specific toppings. When I pointed directly to the menu item, she stopped arguing, but there was no apology — only visible annoyance. Overall, the order was incorrect twice, the wait time was long, and the customer service felt dismissive. It was a frustrating experience, especially when the menu itself clearly supports what we ordered.
