The Natural Bakery
Dublin
04/10/2025: Business masterclass;
Ignore your customers
Don't pay attention to the queue order
Overprice second choice products
Leave table dirty
15/09/2025: Had a takeaway for 2 items - the raspberry polenta cake and the vegan sausage roll. Both were delicious! The polenta cake had a strong raspberry flavour with milder than expected sweetness, as I prefer. The vegan sausage roll was slightly peppery and it was warmed up for me and placed in a heat friendly bag. The ambience of the place is lovely and I wish I had more time to sit and dine.

Andrew's Chinese Takeaway Shankill
Dublin
12/09/2025: Best spice bag I ever had I bring all my mates here. Nothing hits better then an andrews spice bag man
07/07/2025: In fairness I haven’t eaten in Andrews since Covid began. I checked the menu tonight to discover that for example Malaysian curry but no description of what’s in the curry. Just extras ie Boiled rice or fried rice. Yes you can pick your protein or veg but what else s as re they putting in. Also how hot is the curry

McDonald's
Dublin
04/04/2026: Terrible McDonald's. Waited almost 30 minutes for a small order. Staff were uninterested, unfriendly, distracted. Watched them get many orders wrong during the wait. The order was still wrong after the wait, with missing items. The place was a mess too with rubbish all over the tables and floors - it wasn't even busy.
02/04/2026: Terrible staff horrible manager ever I have seen. took longer than hour and don’t even know how to talk to customers, I don’t know why people are even visiting this restaurant because of the staff.

Index Dublin
Dublin
08/02/2025: Index is gone. The security staff, who many people have mentioned before, were an issue. I was there with my girlfriend and had a bean bag with me. One of the bouncers jokingly called it a "lady bag" and kept laughing at me. I didn’t want to argue with him because I knew he wouldn’t let me in after, but honestly, some basic customer service would be nice.
I paid for my ticket, which helps pay their wages, so a little professionalism isn’t too much to ask. I get that they don’t need to be geniuses, but hiring staff with at least some common sense and a professional attitude would go a long way. The security checks also feel more intense than at an international airport.
And maybe try opening on time? We know you’re the only club in Dublin, so we don’t have many options, but this is Ireland—it’s windy, and it rains. Standing outside for an hour in that weather is enough to make anyone sick. I used to love Index, not gonna lie.
01/02/2025: Mind the bouncers, they will sack you for the minimal reason or not let you go in if you arrive late doesn't matter if you have the ticket already.

Raheny
Dublin
15/11/2025: Raheny Chinese used to be the best in the Area but over the past few years especially after covid their food portions have halved in size their chicken balls and skewered chicken satay are a disgrace tiny portions but prices have increased substantially . Meat and shellfish in their curries have shrunk substantially. Shrinkflation at its worst with prices approaching what restaurants charge.
02/11/2025: So, we ordered it for delivery… the food came relatively on time. But, instead of fried noodles we got probably the most plain fried rice we have eaten. The spring roll had nothing to do with spring and was fatter than the french fries at Mcdonalds. We could sqish the oil out of it. It would be nice if that has been declared. We got chips as an extra so that was nice and everything was packaged well.

Vela Restaurant
Dublin
29/12/2025: When you arrive at Vela restaurant, the welcome is friendly and they have great menus.
01/12/2025: Vela is now Sheela's Palace. The place has a lot of potential and can accommodate large groups and big gatherings. The place also has plenty of parking, so that shouldn’t be an issue. The food was tasty, with plenty of dishes, especially from Malabar. The price was reasonable too. You get both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options for about 22 euros per person, drinks not included.
The atmosphere was good, but the cleanliness, lighting and temperature need attention. The lighting was dim, the space was quite cold and a few of the dishes were cold as well.
Overall it isn’t a bad option, and the experience could be much better if the points above are addressed.

Subway
Dublin
03/01/2026: Going here along time food normally alright sometimes wrong item and miserable nachos but what make it a disgrace is i ordered it was later but still well in opening time they accepted order but when I went to pick it up the man who is terrible at his job i hate when he's there tells me there closing early after I stand at door and have to really wait and get his attention as he tried ignoring me waving there closed though he knew me before so knew why I was asking. I don't know why there closing and not saying on app as I i was able to make order and worse he accepted it if declined i get it but taking my money and then refusing to make my order he even had nerve ta admit he saw order but wouldn't refund me or let me get it tomorrow instead and was very disrespectful terrible place I know some have good experience but trust me they don't care to help you only keeping money don't go if your worried about being conned.

Apache Pizza NewlandsCross
Dublin
10/06/2025: The pizza was delicious. I especially liked the milkshake.
17/05/2025: Another disappointing experience at the apache newlands cross.
Yet again they have managed to mess up an order leaving out items ordered or delivering the wrong item. When I called the store back to inform them and to have it corrected, they were very rude and were reluctant to correct it.
I had to press the point for him to at least credit my account for which let's face it the guy on the phone was so rude I'm doubtful he has even done that.
Do I have confidence they will improve their customer service, unfortunately No.
Apache Head Office should really audit how franchises are managed and the quality of the customer service provided.

McDonald's
Dublin
12/03/2026: What’s wrong with you guys? The floor near the entrance was oily and slippery. I ordered three times, and twice the burgers were missing something. Is there no standard operating procedure (SOP)? Do the employees care about the quality of the burgers?
10/03/2026: Got a burger, fries and a milkshake, I asked for tap water from a the front staff member and the large woman manager jumped in quickly and refused, she gave me an empty cup, no lid or straw and told me to go find a water fountain somewhere in the shopping centre, unbelievably un-kind behaviour
