The best restaurants in Dublin

08/11/2025: Very disappointing experience. The Szechuan duck was sour, the vegetables were raw, and the rice tasted stale. Overall, the meal was completely uneatable. I won’t be ordering from here again.

19/09/2025: Food is nice but way over priced. €7 for a small tray of curry chips that had a drizzle of sauce ? €7.50 for 5 chicken balls. I won't be ordering again.

01/11/2025: Extremely dry muffins. We asked for a refund and they offered to give us new muffins which were just as dry as the other ones. Staff is not very friendly.

12/10/2025: Customer service here was honestly a mess. I got overcharged €2 for a hot chocolate, and when I brought it up, the staff tried to brush it off by saying that’s what I ordered. I had to explain three times that the math was wrong. In the end, instead of giving me the money back, they handed me a loyalty card and said that was the same value. Really poor way to handle a simple mistake.

16/11/2025: The restaurant owners in Guangdong are very friendly and trustworthy. You can stop by here for Chinese food if you're passing through.

08/02/2025: Index is gone. The security staff, who many people have mentioned before, were an issue. I was there with my girlfriend and had a bean bag with me. One of the bouncers jokingly called it a "lady bag" and kept laughing at me. I didn’t want to argue with him because I knew he wouldn’t let me in after, but honestly, some basic customer service would be nice. I paid for my ticket, which helps pay their wages, so a little professionalism isn’t too much to ask. I get that they don’t need to be geniuses, but hiring staff with at least some common sense and a professional attitude would go a long way. The security checks also feel more intense than at an international airport. And maybe try opening on time? We know you’re the only club in Dublin, so we don’t have many options, but this is Ireland—it’s windy, and it rains. Standing outside for an hour in that weather is enough to make anyone sick. I used to love Index, not gonna lie.

01/02/2025: Mind the bouncers, they will sack you for the minimal reason or not let you go in if you arrive late doesn't matter if you have the ticket already.

26/01/2026: Very kind Service, very friendly and quick. The Steak in no more on the menu. Its more a snack menu for dinner now, some meat is missing here. Just a Burger is not enough :( Fries are soft and greasy too :(

27/10/2025: Do not eat here. Food is terrible, overpriced and flavourless. Staff are lovely but the food ruined the whole place. The steak tasted like leather and was not worth €37.

15/12/2025: I've collected takeaway from here a few times in recent weeks. I typically ordered crispy chicken and black bean noodles. I found them pretty good and decent value. Recommended

11/11/2025: Food- doner kebab in tray-the meat was not fresh, hard. it looks like it was frozen several times, there was almost no sauce, really very poor food. the chicken fillet kebab was inedible, the chicken was rubbery. So disappointed.

05/02/2026: Every time order delivery the sour and ketchup always missing. Chicken is also dry feels like few days ago.

24/01/2026: Bileal at McDonald’s Blackrock deserves a special mention for his customer service. He was friendly, calm, and genuinely helpful from the moment I spoke to him. My order was missing sauce, even though it did not come as standard, and he went out of his way to sort it for me without any fuss. It might sound like a small thing, but the way he handled it showed real care for the customer. He made the whole experience easy and pleasant, and it is staff like Bilal who make a place worth coming back to.

24/12/2025: Simple requests and they look at you like you asked for their firstborn. Absolutely love it when minimum wage workers give you more attitude than the owner of Starbucks himself. Never stepping my foot in this coffee shop.

02/12/2025: The hot chocolate in Starbucks here should not be half cup with foam, like the elder lady does it in the morning on 2nd of December, they dont get proper training for them to understand that a late, a hot chocolate doesn't have foam and half cup empty, shame because we dont pay 1 euro, we pay near 6 euros, because we add bigger size and additional straps. Shame Starbucks that your staff doesn't get enough training

31/01/2026: We've ordered from Four Star in Sandyford a handful of times and never really had an issue. Until today. We ordered spinach dough knots and received the plain ones. We ordered BBQ sauce and received garlic/herb sauce. My pizza was undercooked; hopefully the bacon and ham was cooked well enough not to kill me. Definitely not a four-star experience today.

01/01/2026: Order never showed up, paid a bomb for what it is waited 2 hours rang over a dozen times with no answer. Complete disregard for customers joke … Won’t be ordering again.

24/12/2025: I had a great experience with Apache Pizza, mainly because of one amazing employee named Talha. I had placed an order for a double deal with dips and a single pizza that I never actually ordered, and somehow €55 was deducted from my account. I waited 19 days trying to get my money back, which was very frustrating. Talha went above and beyond to help me. He was extremely polite, kind, patient, and genuinely cared about fixing the issue. Because of delays, he even sent the money back to me through his own Revolut account, which I honestly did not expect at all. That shows true honesty, responsibility, and care for customers. Thanks to Talha, the issue was finally resolved, and I am very grateful to him. These 5 stars ⭐ are for him only. Excellent service provided by him. He is a huge credit to Apache Pizza and provides outstanding customer service. Employees like him make a real difference. Highly recommend because of his professionalism and kindness.

10/08/2025: I was looking forward to trying an açaí bowl from this place as it was my first time ordering from them through just eat, I left a note for the delivery person to call when they arrive, I never got a call and unfortunately I never got the order :(
