Shuffleboard Bar Dublin
Dublin
22/08/2025: This place was terrible! Slow service, crappy food that gave one of us stomach problems, dirty, bad shuffleboard tables, way overpriced. Don't waste your time or money here.
22/08/2025: Was looking for something different but just avoid the place. Shuffleboard tables look ok but they aren't....not level or properly sanded and they are too close together to enjoy playing. Service was just atrociously slow. Pool tables are ripped. Bar was STACKED with dirty glasses and dishes and pitchers.

Pizza Max Coolmine - Dublin, Ireland
Dublin
21/09/2025: Couldn't tell you about the atmosphere as I ordered on just eat , delivery man was on his toes as we are located in corduff , can't blame him , he was a nice fella all the same. The big issue here was the scaldy pizza , the thing was proper doughy and undercooked, could have used a good 5 to 10 mins more in the oven , ill put up pics of the slightly cooked under carriage. This will be the last time I order from here , proper waste. Wont let me post a picture. Your lucky , because the absolute state of the pizza we got
20/06/2025: Just ordered a kebab with garlic and chilli sauce no chilli sauce on it delivery driver not the proper change left me 5 euro short really poor service avoid

Index Dublin
Dublin
08/02/2025: Index is gone. The security staff, who many people have mentioned before, were an issue. I was there with my girlfriend and had a bean bag with me. One of the bouncers jokingly called it a "lady bag" and kept laughing at me. I didn’t want to argue with him because I knew he wouldn’t let me in after, but honestly, some basic customer service would be nice.
I paid for my ticket, which helps pay their wages, so a little professionalism isn’t too much to ask. I get that they don’t need to be geniuses, but hiring staff with at least some common sense and a professional attitude would go a long way. The security checks also feel more intense than at an international airport.
And maybe try opening on time? We know you’re the only club in Dublin, so we don’t have many options, but this is Ireland—it’s windy, and it rains. Standing outside for an hour in that weather is enough to make anyone sick. I used to love Index, not gonna lie.
01/02/2025: Mind the bouncers, they will sack you for the minimal reason or not let you go in if you arrive late doesn't matter if you have the ticket already.

KCR House Pub
Dublin
13/08/2025: Stepping into KCR is like walking into your great grandas attic, if his attic was cash-only and smelled like stale pint and regret. This pub’s so stuck in the past, I half expected to be served by a bartender in a powdered wig. Spoiler: the only thing powder in here is the dust on the furniture—and maybe the clientele, who seem to have been regulars since the invention of the pint glass.
First off, cash only? In 2025? I didn’t realize I needed to raid my piggy bank or swap a live chicken to get a lukewarm guinness. The sign might as well read, “No card, no service, no hope.” New customers are treated like aliens who crash-landed in their sacred land of the old time. The bartender—singular, because apparently one person is enough to “run” this place—will stare straight through you like you’re a ghost while chatting with their 70-year old VIPS. I usually wait five minutes to order, which felt like five years, especially since the bartender vanished for a “quick” 20-minute smoke break and place is empty. I’m pretty sure they were out back inventing time travel to keep this place stuck in 1972.
And the flies— They’re not just visitors; they’re practically on the payroll, buzzing around like they own the kip. I’m pretty sure one of them tried to sell me a timeshare.
It’s a shame, because this pub’s got a prime location that could be a goldmine if they dragged it into this century. Instead, it’s a shrine to the “coffin dodger” customers , who are clearly the only ones keeping this place afloat. I get it.
loyalty’s sweet. but when the average customer age is eligible for a pigeon letter from st patrick himself, you might want to consider welcoming the under-80 crowd. At this rate, its got 5-10 years before it’s just a ghost town with a “For Sale” sign and a resident swarm of flies.
Fix the furniture, embrace the 21st century with a card reader, and maybe invest in a flyswatter. Until then, I’ll be drinking somewhere that doesn’t feel like it’s auditioning for a haunted house gig. Cheers to hoping this review gets more traction than their customer service!
03/06/2025: This is definitely a pub for an older generation, who were having a great sing along with a mediocre performer. Staff were pleasant. My biggest issue is that it was a cash bar

Neat Pizza
Dublin
21/09/2025: This place does great food. The problem is their delivery drives dont contact you when your orders come, and then mark the food as delivered when it has hasn't. This has happened on numerous occasions, with nobody in the restaurant willing to answer the phones to resolve it. I dont normally leave reviews bit id hate for someone to experience what I have had to go through, this has happened 3 times where my food didn't deliver and nobody to contact. An absolute shambles of customer service.
31/08/2025: Italian here, we got the lunch deal with a veggie pizza (9.9€). Honestly, the dough was really good and the price was fair for being in Dublin.
It tasted different from a pizza in Italy but we expected it due to the toppings!
The place was chill and clean, staff was polite. Very nice experience overall.

Munchies
Dublin
07/08/2025: I’ve avoided Munchies for a while now (over a year) as the last couple of chicken whoopies I had were not very good. I thought I’d try again today and was delighted to see chicken curry on the menu. Boy did I regret that choice. I ordered for takeaway and wasn’t even sure they gave me the right order when I opened it. It didn’t smell like curry and they’d thrown a bunch of sliced chilli and red onion on top, I guess to make it look ‘fresh’! Rice was a sloppy watery mess and curry sauce was congealed. Very little chicken in it. Most went in the bin. Worst waste of €10 I’ve spent in a while..
29/05/2025: Over and over when ordering egg pot, the eggs are made out of rock. Why are you using microwave to cook eggs.

Giulio's Baldoyle
Dublin
21/10/2025: Called there beforehand to ask if they still deliver because it was already kinda late. They told me they do so I placed an order online 5mins later.
Waited a long time afterwards, just for the pizza to not arrive and also no one picked up when we tried to call.
06/10/2025: Very good restaurant, with good food and good staff. We always order family and love them very much!!!!

Farrier & Draper
Dublin
16/04/2025: I visited this fantastic bar before Christmas last year, and it exceeded all expectations unfortunately the place has been shut down now . The atmosphere was lively yet relaxed, with great music and friendly staff and lovely food by ‘Laacha Restaurant’ .
04/04/2025: It's closed. The website and IG look alive, same with open table. But there's a chain lock on the gate and the security at power court tells me they've closed up about 6 or 8 weeks ago.

Le Centre Ville
Dublin
06/09/2025: Stopped here on my way to the bus station, I ordered a “Matcha Latte” which just tasted like milk and barely had any colour to it. Also ordered a sandwich which was €8.95. Dry and completely flavourless. Waste of almost €15 :((

Starbucks Coffee
Dublin
20/08/2025: Toilets "out of service" for weeks on end and not one plug socket in the entire place (they're literally covered).... seriously? Is there any wonder it's empty all the time? Fix the toilets for heavens sake, it's a legal requirement.
29/07/2025: Very poor service. The lady who placed my order didn't ask me the size or my name. So, when I went to pick up my drink, I was about to get someone else's, and the lady rudely told me it wasn't mine. I recommend asking for names in the future to avoid this kind of mix-up. The drink was good, though.

Cafe Sol Blanchardstown
Dublin
30/09/2025: Friendly staff, & coffee and scones are good. They have a deal on these which makes the price very competitive.
28/09/2025: Really poor Wifi here, not useful if you want to get anything done! Pity though, has lovely windows and lots of natural light, which is rare in the Blanchardstown concrete jungle.
