The best restaurants in Dublin

02/11/2025: Although we didn’t have a reservation, we were quickly seated at the edge of the restaurant (we later discovered it stretched much further inside and even around a corner!). Unfortunately, our table was dirty and it took asking three times before it was cleaned. We only ordered mains and desserts. The burger arrived with cheese despite us asking several times for none, and the Caesar salad chicken tasted more like pre-packed than freshly cooked. On the positive side, the pizza was very good, the chicken supreme was lovely, and the desserts were excellent. Overall, the food was a bit hit and miss, and the service was okay — apart from the rocky start with a dirty table.

14/12/2024: Really nice spot for fine dining was here with my partner for my birthday this year - I had the warm tuna salad, he had the steak, thoroughly recommed.

05/09/2025: Ordered a spice bag with extra veg... Instead I just got chips, chicken and onions... How can a spice bag manage to be so bland.... Waste of money.

02/09/2025: Ordered chicken Szechuan last Sunday evening but what I received was chicken in gravy!! One piece of limp broccoli and no peppers! BLAND TASTE.

27/04/2025: Asked for extra veg and season and they gave me less. Spice bag dried up to bits and no taste off it. Rang an order fir collection and the woman on the phone seemed in a rush and busy because its Saturday. I went to the shop and went to pay for the food and got a horrible attitude from the woman on the counter. Went home with the food. And its litrelly dirt. I'll put the photo up but I don't know how to. In the bin with that anyway. Wont be back to that kip again

02/10/2024: My go to when I’m meeting friends for lunch - such a great atmosphere to the place with the friendliest staff who are so helpful. Food is always delicious and I have eaten there a lot, never once have I had a bad experience. Very reasonable pricing as well. Great service and an amazing local business.

07/10/2025: I bought a charger which didn’t work with my plug. I went to return it the next day, bringing the plug with me. The man tried charging himself and could see very well that it wouldn’t work. Instead of offering a refund or replacement, he just shouted at me. Definitely will not be going again

10/08/2025: Sells dangerous low quality items! I needed a power plug travel adapter on short notice. The one they sold me was 12€ but unfortunately was also utter junk. It - wasn't grounded (ground "pin" was just plastic) - didn't stick in any sockets I tried, but kept almost falling out, and so lost contact - most importantly, it arced and threw sparks any time I tried to plug something into it again On closer inspection, that adapter didn't even have any required EU certifications and so should not legally be sold in Ireland. (Sidenote: their shelves and windows are also filled with obvious knockoffs of other branded products) Next day I got a much higher quality and actually functioning adapter at a nearby department store for less than 5€. In short: stay away from this store! They'll only sell you unsafe junk of questionable origin.

21/10/2025: Got a 3 in 1 yesterday with chicken balls. I asked for extra sauce in the 3 in 1. Well what i got was awful, I would say they're was about a spoonful of curry sauce so god only knows what I would have got if I didn't ask for extra. They are using cheap rice and chips which are awful. On top of that I drove round to my house less than 3 mins away and the food was cold. I mean how dangerous is it to serve cold cooked rice. Had to bin the lot. Sent an email via their feedback link on the website however this has been ignored. I used to bw a regular but not anymore. The place has gone down hill big time.

04/10/2025: Place has gotten so bad. Staff are friendly but their food has gone down hill so much over the last few years. Cheap cuts of meat, cheaper chips, cheaper sauces. I certainly won’t be back again. Had to bin the last food I got.

20/09/2025: We were just looking for something quick to eat, and we found Bernardos. We ordered two chicken nugget meals and one cheeseburger, and they were both quite good. It’s a nice place if you don’t have much time to eat."

25/04/2025: We wanted a lamb kebab and they gave us a mixed kebab because they were running out of lamb, they also put sauces we didnt want in our kebab and it made me sick it went in the bin €30 gone

14/10/2025: I eat Four Star Pizza every Tuesday multiple locations in Dublin. This is the first location the doesn't offer 14" Pizza for 6.95 Absolutely Pathetic! I will never eat here nor should you!

09/08/2025: It seems like a bargain saying that buying 2 gets you the third pizza free, but then each topping costs 1.5 and the small sizes start at 10 euros.

31/07/2025: We really enjoyed X Spice, its tasty dished like the Hot Box and its friendly owner and staff. Sadly it closed permanently this month.

29/06/2025: X Spice has the best spice bag ever, definitely my favourite place to get a spice bag

24/09/2025: The staff doesn't seem to have any idea what a kitchen is, their clothes don't look very clean. As for the food, it used to be much tastier, but now instead of having a lot of cheese and ham (for example), they put a ton of sauce on it, so it tastes terrible! Unfortunately, Dominos in Ongar has become part of the Indian street food family.
