The best restaurants in Dublin

20/02/2026: I hadn't been to the Borza in years, and called in last Saturday night. Is was about 9.30pm so well before the after pub rush, the service was quick, but the cod and chips was terrible, the outside of the batter was crispy, but there was a layer of raw batter between it and the fish, the single of chips wasn't huge, and the portion of garlic mushrooms was miserable, just eight small ones for €4. This was disappointing , what has happened to the Borza of old. I'll be heading to the Roma around the corner from now on.

30/12/2025: The chips are very good , and the chicken burgers are nicely crispy. However , I've noticed in the past few months the portion sizes ( especially for meals ) have become far smaller despite staying the same price relative to inflation . The employees are all very friendly , the premises is clean .

14/12/2025: Very unfortunate that the food delivery went awfully wrong but I was accused of deliberately tricking them. Never placed an order from this place nor will I ever again. Very sad indeed!

16/11/2025: This place has been consistently excellent for myself and everyone I've recommended it to. The curries are beautiful and if you're unsure what to order, the staff are more than accommodating to help you. The waiting time for delivery is always quick. I must also mention all the chicken is proper fresh breast meat. Also the portions aren't left short. Can't recommend enough.

10/06/2025: The pizza was delicious. I especially liked the milkshake.

17/05/2025: Another disappointing experience at the apache newlands cross. Yet again they have managed to mess up an order leaving out items ordered or delivering the wrong item. When I called the store back to inform them and to have it corrected, they were very rude and were reluctant to correct it. I had to press the point for him to at least credit my account for which let's face it the guy on the phone was so rude I'm doubtful he has even done that. Do I have confidence they will improve their customer service, unfortunately No. Apache Head Office should really audit how franchises are managed and the quality of the customer service provided.

17/09/2025: I waited 15 minutes for the most expencive and worst kebap of my life

15/09/2025: The sandwich I ordered was incredibly oily and in poor condition. I was concerned from the start when I saw the food being prepared behind a door. Unfortunately, the quality was as bad as I feared, and the excess oil gave me a stomachache. I suggest following a proper recipe and being more transparent about food preparation.

30/01/2026: Southern fried chicken was awful, bland. Curry sauce not the best. Chips were nice though

12/01/2026: spice bag beautifully seasoned but chicken is like chewing on me moths left tit after she got de implants,,, the chips were soggier than an aul ones ghee, appauling service. curry sauce is like a pot full of scuttery runny shite. and the chili was like blood after dropping a massive log from my hole. lady at the counter screamed at me and verbally abused me.

13/12/2025: Best Chinese in Dublin. I live in Kildare, if I am in dublin sometimes I will grab something and take it home. Have been getting takeout from here for years!

16/04/2025: I visited this fantastic bar before Christmas last year, and it exceeded all expectations unfortunately the place has been shut down now . The atmosphere was lively yet relaxed, with great music and friendly staff and lovely food by ‘Laacha Restaurant’ .

04/04/2025: It's closed. The website and IG look alive, same with open table. But there's a chain lock on the gate and the security at power court tells me they've closed up about 6 or 8 weeks ago.

15/11/2025: Raheny Chinese used to be the best in the Area but over the past few years especially after covid their food portions have halved in size their chicken balls and skewered chicken satay are a disgrace tiny portions but prices have increased substantially . Meat and shellfish in their curries have shrunk substantially. Shrinkflation at its worst with prices approaching what restaurants charge.

02/11/2025: So, we ordered it for delivery… the food came relatively on time. But, instead of fried noodles we got probably the most plain fried rice we have eaten. The spring roll had nothing to do with spring and was fatter than the french fries at Mcdonalds. We could sqish the oil out of it. It would be nice if that has been declared. We got chips as an extra so that was nice and everything was packaged well.

17/03/2026: Ordered food at 5.00pm, and after several phone calls it hasn't arrived and it's now 8.30pm. Terrible

09/02/2026: Omg shocking food I ordered salt and chilli shredded chicken was rank it’s definitely gone down hill will never order anything from here again and there egg fried rice was very sticky

09/02/2026: Best Chinese in the Santry area by a mile. Ordered well over 100 times and was only disappointed once. Foods always flavorful and portions are massive. Bit pricy, but I don’t mind paying for the quality. Keep it up

02/02/2026: I have been ordering from this gourmet kitchen for quite some time and only recently I placed an order of beef curry and rice unfortunately when I Came home all I got was curry sauce and onions no beef. I ordered again a few weeks later beef curry and rice and crisp shredded chicken and chips they tried to over charge me when the order should be 24e they asked for 33e I only paid 24e. I will not be ordering from gourmet kitchen again very disappointed with the service

27/09/2025: Filling station, deli counter & Burger King. I stopped in here today for a quick bite. The place is filthy. The tea & coffee stations, general food areas, areas where people eat their food & dont get me started on the toilets!!!!! I don't know who the manager/area manager of this place is, but you need to get your finger out and get this place scrubbed, before someone gets poisoned.

18/08/2025: Good shop but the deli closes at 2:30 in the afternoon which is very early.

19/02/2026: Made the order, accepted by the restaurant and 10 minutes of being delivered basically got a call saying is too far and they don’t do that delivery. It’s 3km away (just for record) and 9 minutes by car. So just lost 30 minutes waiting for an order that was never going to arrive… absolutely disgusting behaviour.

27/01/2026: Great take away, Ordered Fish & chips (cod) it was fabulous, also got a american fried chicken breast very good too.Definately will be back,& recommend.
