Muncheesz
Dublin
08/02/2025: Ordered from these, got confirmation, took my money , food never arrived and phone seems to be disconnected. Disgraceful robbing off people. If your shop is closed for whatever reason you should not be accepting online orders. I want my money back.
12/10/2024: Made an order online. Money was taken from my bank account straight away ...An hour and a half later, still no food. I'm trying to call the place but no answer. Shocking.. 50 euro down and no food never arrived.

Domino's Pizza
Dublin
20/10/2025: I would avoid bad merchant.
1. Never delivered my order.
2. Marked as delivered.
3. Not refunded or contacted yet by the establishment.
I don’t understand why it was marked as delivered or gave me an expected time.
4. I waited nearly 1.5 hours.
5. I have cctv to prove it wasn’t delivered so why was it marked delivered. Just eat had my pinpoint location so none of this makes sense.
I’m waiting on a refund and will be down to the storefront if I don’t get one!
20/10/2025: If I got my food I could leave a review!
My mate ordered food for us and they never delivered

KCR House Pub
Dublin
13/08/2025: Stepping into KCR is like walking into your great grandas attic, if his attic was cash-only and smelled like stale pint and regret. This pub’s so stuck in the past, I half expected to be served by a bartender in a powdered wig. Spoiler: the only thing powder in here is the dust on the furniture—and maybe the clientele, who seem to have been regulars since the invention of the pint glass.
First off, cash only? In 2025? I didn’t realize I needed to raid my piggy bank or swap a live chicken to get a lukewarm guinness. The sign might as well read, “No card, no service, no hope.” New customers are treated like aliens who crash-landed in their sacred land of the old time. The bartender—singular, because apparently one person is enough to “run” this place—will stare straight through you like you’re a ghost while chatting with their 70-year old VIPS. I usually wait five minutes to order, which felt like five years, especially since the bartender vanished for a “quick” 20-minute smoke break and place is empty. I’m pretty sure they were out back inventing time travel to keep this place stuck in 1972.
And the flies— They’re not just visitors; they’re practically on the payroll, buzzing around like they own the kip. I’m pretty sure one of them tried to sell me a timeshare.
It’s a shame, because this pub’s got a prime location that could be a goldmine if they dragged it into this century. Instead, it’s a shrine to the “coffin dodger” customers , who are clearly the only ones keeping this place afloat. I get it.
loyalty’s sweet. but when the average customer age is eligible for a pigeon letter from st patrick himself, you might want to consider welcoming the under-80 crowd. At this rate, its got 5-10 years before it’s just a ghost town with a “For Sale” sign and a resident swarm of flies.
Fix the furniture, embrace the 21st century with a card reader, and maybe invest in a flyswatter. Until then, I’ll be drinking somewhere that doesn’t feel like it’s auditioning for a haunted house gig. Cheers to hoping this review gets more traction than their customer service!
03/06/2025: This is definitely a pub for an older generation, who were having a great sing along with a mediocre performer. Staff were pleasant. My biggest issue is that it was a cash bar

STIR Restaurant
Dublin
02/11/2025: Although we didn’t have a reservation, we were quickly seated at the edge of the restaurant (we later discovered it stretched much further inside and even around a corner!). Unfortunately, our table was dirty and it took asking three times before it was cleaned.
We only ordered mains and desserts. The burger arrived with cheese despite us asking several times for none, and the Caesar salad chicken tasted more like pre-packed than freshly cooked. On the positive side, the pizza was very good, the chicken supreme was lovely, and the desserts were excellent.
Overall, the food was a bit hit and miss, and the service was okay — apart from the rocky start with a dirty table.

Down Town
Dublin
07/10/2025: I bought a charger which didn’t work with my plug. I went to return it the next day, bringing the plug with me. The man tried charging himself and could see very well that it wouldn’t work. Instead of offering a refund or replacement, he just shouted at me. Definitely will not be going again
10/08/2025: Sells dangerous low quality items!
I needed a power plug travel adapter on short notice. The one they sold me was 12€ but unfortunately was also utter junk. It
- wasn't grounded (ground "pin" was just plastic)
- didn't stick in any sockets I tried, but kept almost falling out, and so lost contact
- most importantly, it arced and threw sparks any time I tried to plug something into it again
On closer inspection, that adapter didn't even have any required EU certifications and so should not legally be sold in Ireland.
(Sidenote: their shelves and windows are also filled with obvious knockoffs of other branded products)
Next day I got a much higher quality and actually functioning adapter at a nearby department store for less than 5€.
In short: stay away from this store! They'll only sell you unsafe junk of questionable origin.

Magic Wok
Dublin
21/10/2025: Got a 3 in 1 yesterday with chicken balls. I asked for extra sauce in the 3 in 1. Well what i got was awful, I would say they're was about a spoonful of curry sauce so god only knows what I would have got if I didn't ask for extra. They are using cheap rice and chips which are awful. On top of that I drove round to my house less than 3 mins away and the food was cold. I mean how dangerous is it to serve cold cooked rice. Had to bin the lot. Sent an email via their feedback link on the website however this has been ignored. I used to bw a regular but not anymore. The place has gone down hill big time.
04/10/2025: Place has gotten so bad. Staff are friendly but their food has gone down hill so much over the last few years. Cheap cuts of meat, cheaper chips, cheaper sauces. I certainly won’t be back again. Had to bin the last food I got.

Four Star Pizza
Dublin
14/10/2025: I eat Four Star Pizza every Tuesday multiple locations in Dublin. This is the first location the doesn't offer 14" Pizza for 6.95
Absolutely Pathetic! I will never eat here nor should you!
09/08/2025: It seems like a bargain saying that buying 2 gets you the third pizza free, but then each topping costs 1.5 and the small sizes start at 10 euros.

Le Centre Ville
Dublin
06/09/2025: Stopped here on my way to the bus station, I ordered a “Matcha Latte” which just tasted like milk and barely had any colour to it. Also ordered a sandwich which was €8.95. Dry and completely flavourless. Waste of almost €15 :((

McDonald's
Dublin
26/10/2025: Can't fault the staff for their service as it was great, but the food is terrible. Definitely not consistent with other McDonald's elsewhere. Fries were cold. Yes, it's relatively less expensive than a restaurant and convenient but it's not worth it here. I wouldn't go to a restaurant but the coffee shops have better food that is quick and relatively inexpensive.
24/10/2025: Awful service, zero urgency, 20 mins waiting at the counter for a couple of french fries and a drink for the kids.
