24/12/2025: The cleaning practices here seriously need improvement. I watched staff use the same cloth to wipe tables, chairs, and even the seating areas where people actually put the shoes on. That means whatever is on the floor is being wiped right onto the tables where people eat. This is basic hygiene and it shouldn’t be overlooked. I can bet my money the same cloth is used to wipe counters. 🤢

15/12/2025: Great coffee and pastry shop in Smithfield! The cardamom bun (Cardi B) is probably one of the best cardamom buns in Dublin! This pastry runs out on weekend by noon so make sure you’re there early to grab one. The cinnamon bun is also very delicious and would recommend it too. The coffee selection at proper order is quite extensive and I appreciate the variety of options that they have to offer. The staff is very helpful and patient, and there is ample space in the cafe. Love this place!

31/12/2025: It was our first time at six by nico and it didn't disappoint. The food was very flavorsome and the cocktails were delicious. But what stood out for me was the waiting staff particularly Douglas. Very friendly and helpful, we never had to wait for a plate or drink and the menu was explained to us perfectly. I'd imagine it's a big task coordinating that many courses along with drinks so I appulad all the chefs and staff for a job well done.

30/12/2025: Delicious food, creatively presented and served by knowledgeable and friendly staff. The wine pairing was an additional plus. All in all, a throughly enjoyable evening. We will return.

16/02/2026: Be warned staff will overcharge you here. Came here on Saturday night for a friends' leaving night and the place is nice, staff are friendly. However I ordered two pints when I got there, which was €13.50, so €6.75 per pint. Later on in the night I got one pint and I was charged €8.50. I didn't check the card machine before tapping my phone, and didn't notice until the next day, otherwise I would have said it. Either this place is using some kind of variable pricing, or the barman added a tip without asking me, or just simply overcharged me, because in what world is a pint of beer €8.50, not sure Temple Bar would even be that expensive. I tried to find an email address for the bar to say this to them directly without posting it here but they don't seem to have one. The chicken goujons were ok but I only got three small ones, not great for the price. The DJ will also deafen you when he starts, and once he starts all chance of conversation with your friends goes out the window.

15/02/2026: Delicious pizza with that lovely wood-fired taste. The restaurant has a nice, relaxed vibe. Service was good, though there’s a bit of room for improvement during busy times. Overall we had a very pleasant experience.

01/11/2025: I have nothing but love for this place! The service is top notch, staff is lovely and welcoming. They treat the customers really nice. Pub quiz on Wednesdays’s super fun. I’d visit this place again and again.

23/10/2025: Haven't tried the food, but the staff are brilliant, and the pint is really good.

14/12/2025: Was disappointed with the service and quality of experience given this is a five star hotel. After arriving at 8pm at night, no doorman, nobody to greet us, front desk staff was cold and uninviting. Rooms were noisy. No lobby area to sit and relax (we tried to sit in the lobby after a long night with some takeaway food and were asked to confirm we were hotel guests and also asked to eat in our room). Just not what you would expect given the five star rating.

11/12/2025: Just stayed there. Great place and will return. From being centrally located in Dublin and so easily walkable around the area and the history, I just cannot say enough about my first trip to the area. I wish I could have tried dinner at the on-site restaurant however it was closed Sunday when I planned to attend. The only thing I could offer as a suggestion for improvement would be an upgrade to the Wi-Fi system, however this will not prevent me from returning as you spend most of the time in the city. Great hotel. Thanks again cheers

17/10/2025: I used to staying with the owner Valerie when I did my Leaving Certificate a decade ago in Ireland. When I knew she's now owning a cafe, I came here to taste the food. I love the Chatty Fox Special, great taste of bacon on toast and latte. I love the chocolate brownie! 🤤 I'd recommend to my friends that whenever they visit Dublin, this is a place you must visit! 08/10/2025: Nice cafe full of locals, which is always a good sign. They do a good full Irish and the staff are friendly and helpful. It's a lot bigger than it looks, but any time I've been in there were enough people there to give the place a bit of a buzz and a good atmosphere.

17/03/2026: Nice place.Food was good but portions were small, we left hungry. Not the greatest value for money; if I remember correctly it was €8.20 for a pint of Guinness. Service was good, quick and professional.

05/10/2025: Had a lovely meal on Sunday. Staff are fantastic. Make sure to either book a table or get there before 1pm as it fills very quickly. That's the only quibble I would have.
