The best restaurants in Dublin

23/09/2026: One of the hardest parts about eating here is choosing between so many delicious options on the menu! Even though the restaurant was quite busy, the food didn’t take too long to arrive, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, the one thing that left something to be desired was the service. 2 or 3 different girls attended to our table, and none of them seemed particularly happy to be there. Of course, everyone has a bad day, and I completely understand that, but when working in customer service, I think a little more warmth and friendliness can make a big difference to the overall experience. I really hope to come back soon to try some of the other dishes on the menu, and hopefully have a slightly friendlier service experience next time.

27/08/2026: Nice place and great tasting coffee but the extra 50 cent to toast the sandwich is a bit cheeky. Had some stomach issues with the pesto chicken as did the person I shared it with so maybe stick to the pastries with this one.

24/08/2025: Great venue for a work event. Right on the river you can do team building racing on the river followed by a BBQ and a nice bar and function room for a few beers.

31/07/2025: Had a family party here , would recommend to anyone for a small private function, good facilities and ambience. The club members were very helpful as well.

20/08/2026: Today, after exploring Central Park, I went inside. The moment I saw it, I felt drawn to stay: an inviting space, perfect for sitting and reflecting while enjoying a quiet coffee. The best part, without a doubt, was the service. The staff was so warm and genuine that I felt truly welcome… so much so that I ended up writing an article for my newsletter.

15/09/2026: The cocktails are tasty, though not entirely to my taste. The service is a bit hectic and doesn't always respond promptly (e.g., when the water runs out, etc.). Nevertheless, the atmosphere is fascinating, and the bartender does a great job.

10/09/2026: I’ve been a frequent shopper in this supermarket for the past few years and there’s a reason I always come back. Everything is always well stocked and everyone’s very friendly. Today, I had a uniquely positive experience whilst shopping. Jack on the door was extremely friendly, to be greeted with a trolley waiting for you with a smile is always heartwarming. Then John helping me with my bags is always extremely helpful. Whilst in the shop the customer service only got better. Michael Webber helped me look for items I couldn’t find with a smile and a joke which still have my ribs aching with how much I was laughing. It’s great to have a shop that genuinely cares about their customers right on my doorstep

17/09/2026: Been here a few times now and it’s never let me down. Food is always unreal, beer’s are class, and I love the hustle and bustle of the place — proper busy city energy. One of my favourites.

Big disappointment having ran from Connolly station and back to find wrong order and undercooked, went straight in the bin

05/07/2026: Shay ( the owner ) is only interested in celebrities and who he can get in a picture with. Dark, depressing, void of any real atmosphere and dingy. Far better options in the local area. A watering hole that sold out for the trappings of so called fame. A pretentious and egotistical owner sealed it's fate. Surprisingly it's still open, just about. Best avoided.

30/06/2026: Unrivalled atmosphere, Shea is brilliant. Cheap pints for Dublin and you will make friends with the whole bar!

10/09/2026: One of the better cafe/lunch spots in Dublin I reckon. Food is great. Service is quick and always friendly staff.

13/09/2026: A quality souvenir store and best is upstairs cafe. Nice selections and seems popular place for local people. A spot to have light lunch and break.
