18/07/2025: Loved the atmosphere of this place, so cozy and welcoming! The staff were super friendly and made us feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious. Definitely one of my new favorite spots!🙏

09/06/2025: Love this place ! Great little patio to sit and enjoy your coffee as the world goes by. Good coffee and a decent selection of pastries and snacks. If your in the area stop by and grab a beverage.

20/05/2025: Second time having my son’s birthday here, unfortunately I won’t be booking again. The man at reception was so lovely and helpful! But after that it went down hill, the party “host” was on his phone leaning against the wall while kids played bubble football for the full 45 mins. The only time he lifted his head off his phone was to help a child that called him to help with the bubble. I went back into the man In reception and asked was the hosting to do any games with the kids, after this he went out to talk to him . After that the “host” took all the lads to the party room, came back with food and then left. The staff in the bar and the man in reception were so lovely and helpful, but the party “host” had no interest to be there, let alone the party host. Please give the kids that are there for a party, your time and attention.

21/07/2025: Our recent Sunday evening at NEON was mostly great. The food was nice, especially the Mekong duck, which packed a real punch, and the portions were super generous. The sriracha chicken was a little sweet for my taste, not quite hitting that spicy note I like. I also expected it to be prepared with the noodles but the noodles came on the side. Where things went a bit sideways was the service. We waited around 30 minutes, and our starters were served at the same time as the main dish, which was a bummer – kinda defeats the purpose of an appetizer, right? It seemed like they were prioritizing Deliveroo and Uber Eats orders, as those kept flying out. Still, the value was pretty decent for the tasty grub, even with the long wait. Overall, I'd give it a 4 out of 5 for the food, despite the little service hiccup.

19/07/2025: We had a delicious meal. My monkfish was fabulously cooked and my mother's scallop tagliatelle she thought was scrumptious. The view was amazing and the staff were friendly and welcoming. This restaurant comes highly recommended. Thank you especially to Clodagh Our lovely waitress and Pedro for being so welcoming

10/06/2025: Great Ice Cream during the summer and nice hot chocolate in the winter, with lovely staff members and a vibrant community on top of all that, what more can you ask for?

11/06/2025: The food was genuinely good — no complaints there. However, the overall experience was affected by the attitude of some of the staff. Upon entering, we were immediately asked if we had a reservation, despite the place being mostly empty. While we understand there may have been bookings for later, the way it was communicated — along with a pointed “don’t stay after 7 PM” — felt unnecessarily unwelcoming. As we were preparing to leave, our kids briefly stepped toward the door and we were promptly told to keep them seated, as they shouldn’t be left unattended. We completely understand safety concerns, but this could have been communicated with more grace — especially when it was clear we were on our way out. That said, one staff member stood out with their warm and courteous approach — much appreciated. Unfortunately, the rest seemed to carry themselves as if they were running a luxury five-star hotel. With this kind of attitude, “One Squared” might just live up to its name — stuck at one, instead of growing into something greater.

27/05/2025: We enjoyed our leisurely tea at the Merrion Hotel in Dublin. Beautiful hotel and a wonderful setting in the Drawing Room. Our server, Caroline, was gracious and professional. The tea sandwiches were delicious as well as the pastries. If you are looking for a tranquil afternoon in Dublin, this is the spot to go.

21/05/2025: Art Tea at the Merrion was delightful. We have stayed at The Merrion numerous times, but never experienced the Afternoon Tea. The staff were awesome. We will be enjoying this wonderful experience again the next time we’re in Dublin.

03/07/2025: Went after work with three friends. The new area outside is now covered in if weather is cool. It was lovely. We had a great time. the waitress and waiter were so helpful and friendly. the food for us all was beautiful. My dinner was lovely and hot. So relaxing and will be returning.

02/07/2025: It used to be very tasty, but lately it's been getting worse and worse. The rolls fall apart, the rice is not tasty, and sometimes it's not cut evenly. The soy sauce is almost transparent. There haven't been any new rolls in three years... And the delivery guy is rude. Home delivery, but he asks you to come out and come to his car so that he doesn't get up!
