09/11/2025: The food was excellent, with truly magnificent quality. The only point that could be improved is the waiting time for the waiter to serve the table — it was a bit too long. Other than that, everything was perfect!

03/01/2026: Although the place didn't look particularly inviting, I almost feared the same would be true for the food... but I was wrong! The pizza was really delicious, even at 1 a.m.! 🤣

01/01/2026: incredibly bad customer service, burnt pizza, inappropriate staff conduct, overall horrible. i despise this place and will NOT be coming back. keep your young kids away from terrible place.

25/03/2026: We enjoyed our dinner immensely and our server Gabriel was the best! We highly recommend dining here. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Cheers! Oh we also recommended it to our excellent Celtic tour guide!

17/03/2026: Visited nova for brunch on my birthday and we had such a good time, the atmosphere was cozy, excellent service from the staff and the food was delicious ☺️ the French toast, pork Benedict and nachos were just perfect 😋

30/12/2025: Fantastic pizzas, delivered hot. Shame that the chicken was over cooked that the crust was rock hard. The garlic sauce was over powering. Will order the pizzas again.

13/12/2025: First time ordering from here. Got a pepperoni pizza. Really tasty. Will order again Update: Order all the time now. Really can't fault the pizza BUT on the odd occasion its completely different pepperoni for some reason that isnt as nice . Normally the nicest pizza I've ever had

22/11/2025: Great bar, friendly and attentive staff. It's nice and comfortable whilst relatively formal but without being stuck up.

12/07/2025: Enes makes a wonderful cocktail. Watching him prepare each drink is truly enjoyable as well. You can tell he takes pride in his craft and takes his time ensuring quality regardless of how busy he is.

08/05/2026: Vegetarians/Vegans beware. Ordered from this restaurant for the first time today. I ordered the Bulgogi Tofu, which is specified on their online menu as a “Top Vegan” option. When I received I started eating but started getting suspicious of the texture and appearance of the “tofu”, when I looked it up it turned out that what I had been sent was the chicken bulgogi. I am now sitting here completely sick and upset. The restaurant needs to be SERIOUSLY careful about what they send customers, especially when sending out something that they recognise is either a dietary choice/ requirement. This could have gone very badly if I had an allergy…

27/06/2025: Pleasant layout above the pub, so you can have a drink before or after your meal. Our party of five can heartily recommend the specials at 35 euros for three courses, the fish dishes in particular were excellent. Service was very good. Interestingly, there were no condiments on the table, perhaps it's a culinary statement but as the seasoning was good there was no issue. Reasonable wine list. Definitely worth a visit.

27/06/2025: Laurel in Blackrock is a fantastic restaurant tucked away above the pub—a real hidden gem. The food is absolutely amazing, beautifully presented on elegant plates that make the whole experience feel special. Every dish was full of flavor and clearly made with care. The atmosphere upstairs is stylish and relaxed, perfect for a nice evening out. The only downside is the music, which comes from the pub below and doesn’t quite match the refined setting of the restaurant. Still, the quality of the food more than makes up for it. Definitely worth a visit!

21/04/2026: First time at this restaurant and I would highly recommend. Excellent Customer service & the food was absolutely delicious.I could’ve eaten more if I wasn’t so full. Would recommend the following: Starters: keftedes & spanakopita Main: Moussaka & stifado Dessert: Baklava Drink: Greek coffee medium sweet.

20/04/2026: Absolutely NOTHING Greek about this place👎 Came here for dinner earlier this eve, and found the only waitress serving the entire restaurant, to be rather rude and obnoxious. Upon entering the restaurant, I politely asked for a table for 2, and she made me feel like an idiot for even asking, as there were many free tables. I hate to break this to the staff member but here in Ireland, it's common courtesy to ask. No sarcasm is necessary. She refused to serve me a chicken dish with sauce on the side. The dish was LACED with oil and fat, I almost puked. You could literally see the chicken drowning in oil and grease. I salvaged whatever I could of the protein but it didn't even taste like chicken. Waitress never brought our olives either. Errors happen when there isn't enough staff on. I have health issues and am restricted to a very low fat diet. Entire meal was inedible! I thought I was ordering the healthier options? She then rudely approached our table and asked 'what's the story here?' upon inspection of my barely touched plate. Girl, learn some manners when working in hospitality. You don't get to speak to customers with such attitude! I have worked in hospitality for over 15 years and I would never ever speak to customers in such a way. It was so embarrassing 😳 Definitely won't be returning!

31/03/2026: A cool pub in Rathfarnham! It’s moderately bustling, and the atmosphere is satisfying no matter who you go with. It’s truly lovely. The price of Guinness is reasonable, and the starter I had here—I think it was chicken wings—was really, really delicious. It tasted like chicken seasoned with hot sauce. The portion was quite generous, too. 100% willing to visit again

26/03/2026: Great iconic genuine local pub. Great pint and food. Lounge staff are great. Bar staff could be more friendly 🤔 - but maybe that's part of their quirky charm :-)

13/04/2026: Sooo well looked after by Uros and staff, everyone we met was polite and attentive - big thanks to all the staff. We were a party of x5 including a wheelchair user and x2OAP’s. We had a wonderful weekend in Dublin despite the transport problems! Comfortable beds, great food and drinks and very convenient. We were watching a show at the O’Reilly Theatre which was a 7minute walk away and central Dublin shops, castle etc. were also all within easy walking distance.

09/03/2026: Very nice place. Genuine and charming. In the morning, lots of locals came in and ordered breakfast on their way to work/school. Very nice staff and great service. A hidden gem.

18/04/2026: Today I went to Gino’s Gelato on a colleague’s recommendation and absolutely fell in love. The prices are very affordable and the flavours are irresistible. The Brazilian staff are super friendly and patient, and the quality of the ice cream is amazing and really impressive. I’ll definitely be back many more times to try the milkshakes and more of the ice cream flavours.

16/04/2026: Friendly staff. Many different flavors. The pomegranate sorbet was incredibly fruity. Portions are large. Two scoops cost €6.95. They also have crêpes and bubble waffles.

12/04/2026: This restaurant is beautiful, I spend a good time. But the food is too basic, I think you can make at home the kind of meals that they offer. I ask for a club sandwich and want tasteful at all, and the frites aren’t home made. And my husband asked for Irish breakfast and was with a lot of oil.

07/04/2026: Food here is lovely. I had the beef burger and it was one of the nicest I’ve had in a while. Was served with a spicy tomato sauce on the side that was amazing. Staff are very friendly. Prices are good too for Dublin. Will visit again.

13/02/2026: we always order takeaway from izumi and it’s the best! the sushi is extremely fresh and the drivers are always extremely friendly:)

06/02/2026: We came for lunch, the Thai red curry was delicious and a good portion for lunch. The bento box was also lovely. Nice and friendly welcome and service.
