The best restaurants in Dublin

21/06/2025: This is the best pizza I’ve ever eaten in Dublin, hands down, and I’ve tried them all. Stopped here last night after the lions game and was simply blown away by a pizza that took me straight back to Italy. Crisp, charred , light perfection in a crust. Lovely staff and owner going out of the way to take care of you. No fuss, just incredible pizza.. I’m taking the family next time, can’t recommend it enough. I’ll be back soon.

29/04/2024: Some of the best tasting I've ever had! 🤤 And I've had a lot. 🤫 They're just the right size, last as long as real ones, but without any of the after care that is needed 🤭😷. Just beware that you consume calories with this one, rather than burn calories like with the real ones - although the sauce from this one definitely tastes better! 💦

22/04/2024: This was a fun experience honestly. They got variety of sweet treats in really funny names. They were delicious to be honest. A must try if you are in Dublin city center

13/07/2025: The food and service here are fantastic. We love the restaurant and come often. The whole staff are professional and courteous and, on our most recent visit, there was a waiter called Max who was particularly great. We’ll be back soon!

31/07/2025: I really wanted to like this place. The koftas were dry and overdone. The salad was literally just plain lettuce. The sauces were bland. The bread was not fresh, and it came out of a plastic bag. Not good enough at nearly 20 euro!

27/07/2025: Falafel restaurant is in the heart of Dundrum and provides a very calm ambiance. The food is great, with ample portions and also very pocket friendly. Grab a mixed kebab platter and falafels and grab the window seating to enjoy the food while watching Dundrum’s hustle bustle. The staff is very friendly and their recommendations always win!

27/06/2025: Pleasant layout above the pub, so you can have a drink before or after your meal. Our party of five can heartily recommend the specials at 35 euros for three courses, the fish dishes in particular were excellent. Service was very good. Interestingly, there were no condiments on the table, perhaps it's a culinary statement but as the seasoning was good there was no issue. Reasonable wine list. Definitely worth a visit.

27/06/2025: Laurel in Blackrock is a fantastic restaurant tucked away above the pub—a real hidden gem. The food is absolutely amazing, beautifully presented on elegant plates that make the whole experience feel special. Every dish was full of flavor and clearly made with care. The atmosphere upstairs is stylish and relaxed, perfect for a nice evening out. The only downside is the music, which comes from the pub below and doesn’t quite match the refined setting of the restaurant. Still, the quality of the food more than makes up for it. Definitely worth a visit!

31/07/2025: I visited this restaurant on July 7. I paid with my card and the payment was approved, but the staff told me the payment wouldn’t go through and asked me to pay again with a different card and saying the first one would be automatically refunded within two weeks. I ended up being charged twice. It’s now been almost a month, and I have received no refund and no follow-up from the restaurant. I gave them my email, but they never contacted me. The contact information they provided doesn’t work either. Why did they make me pay twice? And why is there still no refund or any way to reach them? This experience has been incredibly disappointing and unprofessional. I do not recommend this place, and I’m sharing this review so others don’t go through the same thing. ㄴ reply Your staff took my email and told me you would contact me, but I haven’t heard back. The contact method you provided doesn’t work, so I’m currently unable to reach you. Please email me as you said you would.

28/05/2025: Cloud Nine gelato is divine! The flavors are rich and delectable. I chose the Irish Sea salt caramel and I’m still dreaming about it. The decor is darling. I’ll be back before our trip is over.

21/07/2025: Lunch Al fresco: Food 50/50. Croquettes tasty, squid? Overdone and not tasty. Pizza was horrible...I had to look underneath to see if it was a premade base. ( Maybe?) The club sandwich was fine. The view? Entertaining. Service...not enough waiting staff.

06/07/2025: I was on a hurry during my lunch break and I’ve remembered that had never tried this place out. I gave it a go and I have to admit that it’s absolutely lovely. Portions are very generous, the food is very fresh and so tasty (I got the thai green chicken curry with rice). I have to admit that it’s awesome to have a place like this in the city centre where you can sit down and get a nice meal for around 10/11€. Super recommended!
