02/06/2026: Overall a very nice restaurant near the water in Howth. Mainly focused on fish - as to be expected based on the location - but also had a good range if Pizzas. The price point is higher than average but based on the location is about right. The food was well cooked and flavoursome. Staff were very nice and friendly. I would go back again.

27/09/2025: One of the most beautiful and cosiest cafés in town. If not the best. If you don't like cafe chains without the personal touch, this is what you have been looking for. Also nice breakfast for reasonable price.

11/10/2025: This restaurant and its sister restaurant Konkan have fallen off a cliff in terms of quality but have raised prices. The lamb in my order was not shoulder or shank, it had a lower cut flavor which would have been fine if it had been cooked long enough, every pice of lamb had unrendered fat and cartilage.

20/06/2025: Delicious food at a good price. The prawns were amazing. The service was stellar. I booked a table for dinner for my partners birthday, they played happy birthday (at a reasonable volume so as not to disturb other diners) & brought him a slice of delicious chocolate cake with candle and all. It was a lovely touch and a great end to the fantastic meal. I look forward to eating here again soon.

22/04/2026: Got the Oreo Milkshake and simply had one word in my mind as i was sipping it away - WOW! They definitely use a secret ingredient to make it more scrupulous than your typical milkshake elsewhere! I wish i lived in Dublin so I could frequent here more regularly 😢 Has to go down as the best milkshake i have ever had!!

03/06/2026: I can’t really say enough about the Edge, a very popular locally run Coffee shop. There’s comfy seats, great coffee and wonderful cakes. Sandwiches are excellent too. Mid-morning it’s always nicely busy with a great buzz. Friendly staff and it’s independent, not a chain, which is a plus. Dog-friendly too, if that’s your thing!

21/05/2026: The Hairy Lemon is a characterful Dublin pub with a wonderfully traditional and slightly eccentric atmosphere. From the colourful historic façade to the richly decorated interior, every corner feels full of stories, humour and local identity. The walls, old signs, flags, vintage objects and banknotes create a very distinctive setting that feels both lively and authentic. I had a hearty stew served with mashed potato and brown bread, together with Guinness 0.0, and it matched the atmosphere perfectly — simple, warm and satisfying. It is the kind of place where visitors can feel the spirit of old Dublin while enjoying a relaxed pub experience. A memorable stop for anyone who appreciates traditional interiors, good pub food and places with real character.

15/06/2026: I dunno the necessities to waitress come to your table all the time asking if you wanna food. Despite you are drinking and enjoying, makes no sense this hurry to make you ordering something. We were in a celebration to a friend that goes back to our home country and seems like no where in Dublin even port house is able to let people enjoy their moment. The food is quiet ok, but the food even the vegetarian or protein are full of tomato sauce and fat inside. Even small portions you feel nauseous.

04/06/2026: Excellent restaurant - the food was out of this world, best tapas I've had outside of Spain, really friendly staff, good service and a great atmosphere, it's so intimate with all the twinkly lights and candles. We had the most lovely evening, highly recommend.

15/10/2025: Really nice pub! The service is great and people are nice. Slightly expensive tho for a gin and tonic > 9€. The atmosphere was great and not too loud, just perfect!

06/11/2025: Amazing café with great atmosphere! I absolutely love this place! The coffee is always fresh and delicious, and the staff are super friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing — perfect for studying, meeting friends, or just enjoying a quiet moment. They also have a nice selection of pastries and sandwiches, all made with great quality. You can really tell they care about what they do. Definitely one of the best cafés in Dublin — highly recommended!

26/11/2025: Honestly, I'm baffled. 5/5? The lady who took our order was pleasant but that is the ony positive I can give. Cutlery was dirty, food burnt and/cold, and sending it back didn't improve it any. The coffee was below par. There was no apology, no offer of something else. First and last visit.

11/05/2026: Popped in for Bank Holiday lunch !! DIVINE charcuterie board , divine glass of white wine …. Shelly & Piadro were excellent and attentive , will definately be back 👍
