03/06/2025: Visited a few times during my stay in Dublin. Great little cafe, with great food. If you see a queue, don't worry, this lot are quick and efficient. Cajun wrap is delicious and they're right about Dublin's best breakfast roll 😋 👌🏻
25/05/2025: Lovely place for breakfast, friendly staff very reasonable prices. Even gave an extra sausage for the dog he was over the moon !

Joels Restaurant
Dublin
02/06/2025: Was in here for the bank holiday weekend with good expectations! Although I was let down
1. Service was absolutely terrible, staff had no clue what they were doing. All the courses of the dinners was very very slow to come to the tables
2. Food was average nothing special whatsoever
3. A fire exit door was wide open and I even seen a small child run for it and only for their mother they could have got knocked down as the road was very busy going around to the hotel
4. At the entrance it wasn’t clean, old cigarettes everywhere
I will definitely not return after this!
02/06/2025: Made arrangements with family to meet in Joel's for dinner, as we all live in different parts of the country and had made plans to be in Dublin for the bank holiday. We all had fond memories of the place and had high hopes based on them.
As usual we waited for a table and were seated in 20 mins, no specials mentioned, nor the type of soup or the fact that the pizza option could not be ordered from. Finally took the order, delays everywhere. My father ordered ceaser salad with chicken, we were told this would add 20 mins lead time, we agreed, his salad arrived, without the chicken. All starters were mediocre. Another salad arrived after 20 minutes, with chicken, and we explained the mistake, it was thrown down on the table as they couldn't do anything with it. Another half hour passed, our mains, for our table of 10 came out in stages, our starter plates still on the table and no new cutlery. Nothing outstanding for the mains, I personally had the duck stirfry and it was warm, nothing memorable about it. Desserts were ordered, 45 minute wait to be served. Other than the fact I was in a group I would have left after the starter. Service was bad, food borderline OK and place was not highly attended to. We were seated in the private area, 3 birthday parties around us, fire door swinging onto the road passage to the hotel which is busy, not safe for smaller children. Older man vaping at the table along side us and the main entrance littered with cigarette butt's. Next time I'm on the N7 I will keep to the road and shudder at the day past.

Yangtze Restaurant
Dublin
19/05/2025: Very nice ladies. But it's very, very. The food is great. I run a bit. I look around Dublin a bit and for me 10/10.
I smoked a cigarette while waiting and they came in 5 minutes not in 10 as they said. They brought it outside and they were smiling. I'm shocked. The first 5 I give. Seriously
09/03/2025: Great takeaway and really nice staff

Inn on the Green
Dublin
20/05/2025: Fantastic hotel! Great service! Comfortable and spacious rooms. Breakfast is incredibly delicious! The bar is also welcoming. Perfect location on St Stephen's Green. The staff is amazing. Alejandro and Enzo, in particular, were wonderful during my stay...
16/05/2025: Experience here was brilliant. The bed was very plush and comfortable, there's plenty of storage space, and you can't beat the location for being right in the center of Dublin action. Add on a friendly staff, and you get top-notch accommodations in Dublin.

The Port House
Dublin
14/06/2025: This is probably the best tapas restaurant in Dublin. Interior is dark & moody, food is fairly authentic & tasty in general. Price is a bit high but you don't have much alternative for Spanish tapas in Dublin.
09/06/2025: Overpriced. Food is not fresh, the potato omelette was dry. The paella plate is tiny for the price. The place is way too dark. Bad experience overall for the price.

Zampas Bar & Restaurant
Dublin
04/06/2025: Ottima scelta sia per il cibo (fusion con cucina peruviana) che per i drink, davvero ottimi. Servizio veloce e personale molto cordiale.
25/05/2025: NOT advisable to eat here if you have theater plans or an hour or less to eat. Very disappointing experience, especially from a hotel restaurant where travelers usually have events to get to and need a reliable but quality food experience. I was staying at NYX, arrived at the bar at 1750, promptly informed the staff I only had an hour and had a show to catch, ordered a ceviche and burger and asked for them to just bring them out when ready. 30 mins later had to ask the manager for a glass of water and question if the food was lost, at 45 minutes none of the food had even arrived. At 50 minutes it came out but was too late to even try and eat so I just asked for a box and the bill. After 5 minutes the food was still not out, I had paid and informed the manager this was not good business for travelers. Finally made it out the door at 1850 to catch a taxi. They ended up sending the food via room service to my room but I didn't get back for hours and was not going to risk food poisoning by eating it. All told it was about €60 all gone to waste. Just a very unsatisfactory experience from a hotel restaurant that's supposed to be on the higher end. (Literally the day before I had a 3 course meal with 3 different wines at Amuri, all in an hour for very lovely experience there 4.5⭐). For the NYX restaurant not even 1 ⭐ for the frustration of buying food I never got the chance to even eat.

Nelly's Cafe - Drumcondra
Dublin
16/05/2025: Delicious food, quality ingredients and warm friendly staff
12/04/2025: Make sure you book on Sundays, place is really cool, staff are best ok, food in the main area looked good, but a separate area at the back outside was not value for money at all.

A Taste of Howth
Dublin
19/05/2025: Food ok, drinks better.
Place very nice.
17/05/2025: It was a disappointment. The market is small, the food is expensive, and it's all greasy, giving the market an unpleasant food smell. There's little variety. Hot dogs, fried foods, pizza. There are churros, ice cream, crepes, and cookies. If you're looking for something to eat, St. Anne's is even better.

Apache Pizza
Dublin
24/04/2025: The worst pizza that I ever eat, it was too much salt
23/04/2025: An Unforgettable Dining Experience at Apache Pizza – Bachelor's Walk
If you're ever in Dublin and looking for a spot that effortlessly combines delicious food, warm service, and a vibrant atmosphere, look no further than Apache Pizza on Bachelor's Walk. I recently visited with a large group of friends—there were twelve of us in total—and I cannot emphasize enough how flawless the entire experience was from start to finish.
The Food – A Culinary Revelation
Let’s start with the star of the show: the food. Every single item we ordered was an explosion of flavor. The pizzas were absolute masterpieces—perfectly cooked with that golden, slightly crispy crust that still manages to remain fluffy inside. We tried a variety, including the classic Pepperoni Passion, the BBQ Meat Feast, and the Veggie Supreme. Each was generously topped, with fresh, high-quality ingredients that actually tasted like real, thoughtfully-prepared food—not your average fast-food pizza at all.
The cheese was melted to gooey perfection, the tomato sauce had just the right balance of sweetness and acidity, and the toppings were layered evenly so every bite had something to offer. The garlic cheesy bread was another standout—soft, buttery, with a rich garlic aroma that filled the table the moment it arrived. Even the side dips were well-portioned and flavorful, especially the garlic and herb sauce and the spicy buffalo.
Service – Hospitality at Its Finest
Despite our large group, the staff were nothing short of incredible. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine smiles and a can-do attitude. We hadn’t booked in advance, yet the team managed to arrange seating for all of us quickly and efficiently, without so much as a sigh of inconvenience.
Our orders were taken with care and accuracy, and the servers made sure to check on us regularly—not in an intrusive way, but just enough to make sure we were happy. One of our friends has a food allergy, and the staff handled the situation with absolute professionalism, clearly explaining which items were safe and even double-checking with the kitchen to be sure. It’s rare to see that level of attentiveness in a casual dining spot, and we were all deeply impressed.
Atmosphere – A Place You Want to Stay In
The ambiance was lively without being too loud, making it perfect for both conversation and fun. There was a comfortable mix of locals and tourists, and the music played at just the right volume—enough to add energy without overpowering anyone’s voice. The lighting was cozy and warm, and the décor had a modern, urban feel that made the place feel current and stylish while still remaining welcoming.
What really stood out was how the place seemed to balance being casual and laid-back with still offering a sense of occasion. You could tell it’s the kind of spot where people come to celebrate birthdays, hang out after work, or just enjoy a great meal with friends—and everyone feels welcome.
Perfect for Groups
Managing a group of twelve can often be a logistical nightmare in a busy city center, but Apache Pizza made it look easy. Tables were rearranged quickly, we were all served at roughly the same time (a small miracle), and not a single order was wrong. The wait times were impressively short, considering the volume, and the staff remained calm and professional throughout.
Final Verdict
Apache Pizza on Bachelor's Walk has completely redefined what I expect from a casual pizza place. It’s not just the food—though that alone would be worth a visit—but the holistic experience they offer: thoughtful service, a buzzing atmosphere, and an environment that truly caters to groups without compromising on quality or comfort.
Whether you’re a solo traveler looking for a quick and satisfying meal, a couple out on a casual date, or a big group out for a night of food and fun, this place delivers—literally and figuratively. Highly, highly recommended.
