14/02/2026: I ordered a spicy bag and overall it was pretty good. The chicken was crispy and not too greasy, and the chips were fresh. The salt and chilli seasoning had a nice flavour, with a decent bit of heat but nothing too crazy.
There were plenty of onions and peppers mixed in, which added a bit of freshness and texture. The portion size was generous and filling.
It’s a solid option if you’re in the mood for something tasty and comforting. I’d order it again☺️☺️☺️☺️

25/04/2026: Have visited this place quite a few times with friends. Recently, it has become very unclean. The cutleries are not washed well. The tables are stained. Even those who make the pizzas, I noticed recently they don’t wear gloves. When a place doesn’t care about cleanliness, it is done.

I had the lasagne while I was here and while it was tasty and I appreciated the side of chips, I think €20 for a lasagne is quite steep and perhaps better value for food can be found elsewhere. No complaints about the bar itself though, a great staple of the area.

25/04/2026: Recommended this restaurant to my family and we went last night 24/4/26..the place was busy toilets were very poor no toilet paper ect…ordered our starter and when it came my was cold( crab cakes)I let it go,but we waited one hour for our mains the place is tiny so I dunno what the hold up was,he handed me my food and the plate was hot and he laughed he actually laughed..NEVER AGAIN..

28/10/2025: Well we often get fish there and it’s very fresh and the staff are very knowledgeable.
Excellent bread and other deli items too.
Also they have a little coffee corner and their coffee is delightful, you could try their Almond croissants – they are divine.
They have a couple of tiny tables outdoors so you can enjoy sitting out there on a sunny day !

20/04/2026: My partner and I stopped by here for a few drinks and a comforting meal on a particularly beautiful day in Howth. We had the pleasure of being helped by Warren and Rory, who were both lovely to chat with, and great servers. Seems like a very special place.
18/04/2026: We came for lunch on the way back from a walk along the coast. The atmosphere was very nice and welcoming, and the food was excellent. We had Abbey chowder and fish and chips that were nothing short of spectacular. Worth considering compared to other more central restaurants.
