The best restaurants in Dublin

06/07/2025: To be honest I dined here for years the music is great takes me away and soothes my stress , the food tastes good but as soon as I get home I’m on the loo and I’m letting it go like I’m a fireman’s hose and it’s every time , same as my partner she’s in the loo now … shouting at me .. her words ( there’s something wrong with that place I’m telling you … maybe it’s the fuzzy drink out of date … who knows but I have to give 2 stars as it’s kind of a cleanse for your guts inside but to be honest I won’t go back now as for the price could of gone to the forge. Forgot the garlic mushrooms are basically deepfat fried with garlic sauce on the side … now come on lads..

05/06/2025: Stunning food expertly presented. I have been keen to go here for a while and it did not disappoint. From the get go when they show the ingredients, to the variety of the set menu, the flavours and the presentation. Top notch. It was very quiet at lunch on a Thursday so not much atmosphere but it didn’t take away from the place. Good value for lunch too. Highly recommended.

03/01/2025: Deadly spot for a cocktail and some snacks. The kimchi, pork, lettuce snack was a game changer 11/24: revisited and got the burger, steak and a starter of tuna tostada. Meal was great but not sure the seating or lighting is really catering for eaters. Enjoyed it all the same

04/11/2025: Had the best time here with my friend . Although the table was a bit small , our waiter ,Anthony & Breno tried to make space for us . The food was GREAT ! And budget friendly , we both had two drinks and a meal each and the total was under a 100! Will be back for sure !

07/10/2025: The food at Nutbutter (Grand Canal Dock) is really tasty, and they have plenty of options to suit different dietary needs. What I didn’t like is that everything has to be ordered through an app — my phone didn’t have enough storage to download it, so I had to use my friend’s phone and send her the money. It feels unnecessarily complicated.

03/10/2025: Delicious and healthy food. Service was super quick. I ordered the chickine tostada and bone broth - the bone broth is a strong flavour but I absolutely love that, so comforting and full of nutrients. The chicken flavour of the tacos was also amazing. My friends ordered some of the bowls, looked fab as well!

27/06/2025: Pleasant layout above the pub, so you can have a drink before or after your meal. Our party of five can heartily recommend the specials at 35 euros for three courses, the fish dishes in particular were excellent. Service was very good. Interestingly, there were no condiments on the table, perhaps it's a culinary statement but as the seasoning was good there was no issue. Reasonable wine list. Definitely worth a visit.

27/06/2025: Laurel in Blackrock is a fantastic restaurant tucked away above the pub—a real hidden gem. The food is absolutely amazing, beautifully presented on elegant plates that make the whole experience feel special. Every dish was full of flavor and clearly made with care. The atmosphere upstairs is stylish and relaxed, perfect for a nice evening out. The only downside is the music, which comes from the pub below and doesn’t quite match the refined setting of the restaurant. Still, the quality of the food more than makes up for it. Definitely worth a visit!

18/10/2025: Excellent experience and outstanding service. Thank you to all the staff and the manager who made this special occasion possible. The steak and dessert were 10 out of 10. Would definitely be back and highly recommend it to everyone. Keep up the fantastic work work

28/09/2025: Booked in here as my mum had to attend a nearby hospital for an operation the hotel could not do enough for us. The room was absolutely beautiful very comfortable beds breakfast was so nice but service was a little slow but i didn't mind as i could see the staff that were on were constantly being pulled but a group of American's that didn't appear to know how to eat breakfast without needing constant attention and support for everything. Staff were so patient with them and professional other than cut up their food for them and spoon feed them they couldnt do more so i did serve myself coffee 😂 the hotel is close enough to Dublin city centre that you can spend €30 for a Uber or just get the bus though it will take a bit longer But I couldn't fault the hotel in anyway my husband wants to book again just for a nice quiet weekend away so cant wait

27/09/2025: Airport shuttle is great. Walking distance to the bus stop to go into town. Super friendly staff. The shuttle driver was super helpful with information and suggestions on how to get to town, buses, what to do, etc. Too bad I forgot his name!

12/10/2025: I was moving outside my apartment near by and thought ok, let’s order some pasta. I’ve spent 3 years at my old apartment and never bought before, and now I regret it because two nights in a row we ordered pasta and was tasty and well sized portions, reasonable price and very fast delivery. Don’t wait to try the pasta!

09/10/2025: The place is mainly take away, but oh so delicious. What I loved most was that most of the food was dairy free. Something hard to come by in Dublin. Had the pea and watercress soup and it was so very delicious. Great smooth creamy and not overly salted ! Also had the sirloin sand which and it was very tasty with the truffle mayo. Which was light in feel, I could’ve had it with less mayo but I personally just don’t love mayo. Will have to return to try their other foods.
