Sounds like some people have been chugging Hatorade instead of Unfiltered’s world-class brews. Remember: these guys are obsessed with their craft first and foremost. 16/03/2025: There's no question these guys are serious about coffee however the service and atmosphere is frosty. It depends what you're after!

02/04/2025: A pub in a sports district away from the city center. I ate there and was lucky enough to see a televised game. On game days, it's packed with people and the atmosphere is very pleasant; you feel like you're part of the city. I recommend any of their burgers with a Guinness.

08/04/2025: This is a review of the Orangerie Bar Restaurant. We had to eat inside due to rain. The first table was adequate but in a cold draft. The second? The seating a mish mash of couch and comfy chairs (not so k comfortable!) The staff were wearing extraordinary face shields..nose to top lip. NOT SAFE! Music inappropriately loud and ear piercing hip hop. Food? Boring.

06/04/2025: Beautiful place for a wedding, but I wouldn’t stay here again. The air conditioner in the room didn’t work and because the phones were also not working, I had to go to reception three times to ask them to come up to check it out. It’s not that they didn’t come, they just didn’t fix it. The First Lady told me that the maintenance guys had left for the day and I’d be fine. They did eventually get it working, but it’s not a strong AC unit. I wouldn’t recommend staying here in the summer. Other than that, the sink had no cold water, the water pressure in the shower was very weak, the ice machine on our floor did not work and the one that did work only spits out 5 ice cubes at a time, the mini bar was “closed,” there was no refrigerator in the room, and the breakfast was very average. They make eggs to order, but otherwise just traditional English breakfast - beans, grilled tomatoes, and sausage. Also, there was a random fire alarm that went off twice with no warning at 9pm one night. Also, if you scroll through the reviews, you’ll notice that the hotel response is basically a copy and paste for each comment. Little indication that they are taking the issues seriously or trying to improve them.

19/03/2025: Perfect carbonara served with grace and efficiency. I am still trying to figure out why I can't make this at home in the states. Is it Irish butter and/or ham that makes it so special?

24/02/2025: This italian restaurant is a joke. We went there last evening. All food is just heated. Overpriced and of course not good at all. We took anti pasti. Nothing is fresh. Some words about the service: the girl keeps asking you if you make a choice maybe 2 minutes after you came in. They keep full pressure on you asking you many times to make a choice or to suggest you more wine glasses. Also first time I entered an itialian restaurant with no food smells: usually you smell the pizza heated on Wood but not here. What to think of this restaurant ? Well it is not so italian in the kitchen… Run from it is the best advice and save the money.

16/04/2025: Pub right in the center. Typical food. Good atmosphere and very nice waiters. Very good price. 100% recommended.

09/04/2025: Fantastic service, section outside in the sun, great music and staff. Ordered a couple of meals which were Very tasty, ample and well priced. If you're looking for a great pub from the masses, this is one to visit. It's not a Temple bar, for me it's better, it true, honest and just a great place to be. Had a great chat and a laugh with the staff. #perfect

22/03/2025: I stop at a lot of random coffee shops around Kildare, Meath and Dublin, as I don't like the coffee any of the big franchises serve. You would struggle to find better coffee and tastier food than at Mackeys. It's always perfect, everytime. Everything served is produced locally and is as tasty as you can get. Caroline is always chatty and pleasant and creates a clean and welcoming atmosphere.
