20/07/2026: Got their version of kang pao chicken and pork with garlic stem. The pork with the garlic stem was our favorite... the kang pao was ok, needed more seasoning and little bit more of spice.

03/07/2026: Often came here with family or on dates. Last Friday evening I had time to kill before a bus I walked 20 minutes here to grab and drink and was refused entry at the door for being alone?!? Appalling way to treat a customer or people in general.

22/06/2026: A great selection of quality wines and food items to buy from the shop. Long tables to the rear of the shop and the place is nicely decorated: a good place to do a bit of reading with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.

01/08/2026: Nice place but the price is crazy. I asked for a passion fruit iced tea, just under €5. They filled a cup with tap water, ice, and some syrup. Cost maybe €0.05 to make.

21/07/2026: First time eating Philipine food and it was delicious! I loved the kaldereta, the pork adobo and the BBQ skewers. Would definitely recommend. The desserts were really good too.

21/07/2026: Our friend from home (Denver, Colorado, USA) recommended The Gin Palace and it absolutely did not disappoint! Stephen, Killian and the rest of the crew were absolutely amazing, and so kind. They suggested other local spots and even wrote down a few things for us so we’d have it handy. The gin drink was out of this world, and the beer was so fresh and cold. We will be back before we head home to the states! ✨🩷

30/06/2026: Great place, aesthetics and atmosphere where great. Staff were friendly and quick to serve. Im not really a gin drinker, but when in Rome... Staff recommended the gins and they didn't disappoint.

06/05/2026: Went back in after years and the place is still one of the best little cafes around. The owner is the most lovely person ever, she looks after everyone and the lasagna was 10/10

15/07/2026: I’ve ordered from Camile Thai Lucan a few times now and it never disappoints. The dishes are fresh, authentic, and really well seasoned. Portions are generous and everything arrives hot. The team are super polite and responsive. Even when it’s busy they keep you updated and make sure everything is right. Great value too. Will definitely be ordering again!

15/07/2026: Disappointing service experience. When I arrived to collect my order, the staff member was in the office/cabin on a loud video call and didn’t even notice that customers were waiting. She was speaking loudly, and despite the chef seeing me standing there (I even waved at him), there was no acknowledgement or response. After waiting around 15 minutes, I went back to collect my order and found the same situation. The staff were chatting and laughing in the kitchen instead of attending to waiting customers. Only after the chef noticed me again did the staff member come out to hand over my food. The food was fine, but the customer service and attentiveness were very disappointing. A simple acknowledgement or update while customers are waiting would make a big difference.

29/07/2026: Super rude Latina Lady at the bar who seems to think she’s there to do you a favour, or as if she were giving you the products for free. Offering good products also implies a service of the same standard, which wasn’t provided. Not to mention the fact that she was exchanging glances with her colleague, making fun of the customer. During my order I decided to not spend my money being treated like this.

29/07/2026: The chicken pesto sandwich was 10 out of 10. Even more enjoyable with the outdoor seating.
