01/04/2025: ¡Qué placer! Vine aquí para una celebración de cumpleaños y no puedo esperar a volver aquí. ¡Siento que se acerca una nueva tradición! El sábado 29 de marzo, a las 14: 30, vine aquí a tomar el té de la tarde con mi novio por su cumpleaños, y oh chico fue una delicia. En primer lugar, el servicio fue excelente. Lucy, nuestra excelente servidora nos llevó a nuestra mesa y nos explicó todo, y lo que realmente se me quedó fue cuando dijo "el cielo es el límite" y seguro que lo fue! ¡Tuviste que sacarme de ahí! El sándwich abierto feta batido era uno de nuestros favoritos, al igual que la rodaja de frambuesa pistacho, simplemente para MORIR. ¡Nuestro té favorito tenía que ser el whisky irlandés y la crema! Todas nuestras necesidades fueron atendidas en términos de más alimentos, condimentos y tés. La decoración era impresionante y nos dieron los mejores asientos de la casa! Nuestro día fue realmente especial.

13/03/2025: Servicio extremadamente decepcionante en el salón Lord Mayors para el té de la tarde - nos apresuró a salir por la puerta antes de que nuestro tiempo asignado se terminó quería el pago antes de que termináramos, el personal grosero - cuando lo traje a la atención de los hoteles que lo cepilló - no volverá y era un cliente habitual - el servicio se ha ido cuesta abajo. Es una lástima ya que la comida y la decoración son fabulosas

31/05/2025: rude staffs, NO VENTILATION, 10 euros for a vodka as if paying 17 for tickets wasn't enough. they threw my jacket on the floor and after I arrived at the table and put it on the table again a staff came saying that I couldn't leave the jacket on the table THAT I WAS USING for the whole night, and they charge you 4€ per item if you want to leave your items with the staffs, a big assault

29/04/2024: Some of the best tasting I've ever had! 🤤 And I've had a lot. 🤫 They're just the right size, last as long as real ones, but without any of the after care that is needed 🤭😷. Just beware that you consume calories with this one, rather than burn calories like with the real ones - although the sauce from this one definitely tastes better! 💦

22/04/2024: This was a fun experience honestly. They got variety of sweet treats in really funny names. They were delicious to be honest. A must try if you are in Dublin city center

11/06/2025: Just moved to the area and looking for a new local. Bar looks really smart, the service and Guinness is also good. I'll be back to check out the beer garden and maybe have some food soon.

09/06/2025: This place is run by a chap with nothing better to do than to take pleasure in ruining peoples nights. I've seen it a few times now as I'm enjoying my mediocre pint. The last time he was standing at the door hassling people coming in, checking ID with no visible door supervisor licence issued by the PSA. I don't know how the barmen put up with this guy. All you need to do is look at his responses to people's bad reviews, look here or at the Beaumont House, and you will find plenty about this dude. I'd be very surprised if he didn't try and think up some weak response to this review. Avoid this place !!! Take your business to Kavanaghs down the road.

01/06/2025: Recently, a friend of mine dined at Volpe Nera and was disappointed. I was curious to try it myself, but unfortunately, I was unable to do so! Despite informing the restaurant of our 14-minute delay, we were denied entry because the kitchen closed at 8:00 PM. I suggested ordering cold dishes like oysters, but they insisted on charging us an €80 penalty for the reservation due to the delay. It’s frustrating to allow reservations until 8:00 PM and then refuse service. I've dined in many excellent Irish restaurants and rarely experience such treatment. While I didn't leave a one-star review due to the potential of the cuisine, I plan to ask my friend Sarah to leave a review as well, so I can provide a complete judgment on the dinner experience.

18/02/2025: WOW! What’s not to like. Myself and partner were passing through Monkstown early Sunday evening and spotted Osteria…not going to lie the name and message on the chalkboard drew us in. We love to happen upon gems like this one. And we were not disappointed, a warm welcome by Mr Long into a beautiful and charming restaurant. The early bird menu runs til closing and the la carte is extensive, excellent choices of wines, beers & cocktails from a delightful bar. Several locals came arrived after us and it’s easy to see why they choose Osteria as their favourite restaurant. Food was devine, that home cooked taste and we left not a morsel. 3 courses each, bottle of Pelegrino and two fine glasses of Merlot came in at €90. We love to dine out and agreed Osteria 99 is by far the best new addition to our favourite restaurants, food was well presented and flavourful, cooked to perfection and the addition of a tasty pre-appetiser was lovely, and despite being from north county Dublin we will 100% be back with friends very soon. Thanks Mr Long & team.

18/05/2025: It's cool! Rather tidy inside with TVs to watch the sport.. with a large 'garden' area that can cater for lots of people enjoying themselves. The drink and service was good 👍
