29/05/2026: Thank you so much to Matthew, Elisabete, Fabio and all the staff at Isabelle’s. At 3 months notice they hosted our wedding and we could not be happier. Matthew was unbelievably helpful and responsive with the planning of our wedding, we were able to give him full control which took a lot of pressure and stress of us with the short notice. On the day, the venue was beautiful. Fabio and the staff were amazing, no one had an empty drink and they were so friendly and helpful. Elisabete was amazing. Her attention to detail and co-ordination of events on the day were seamless! We trusted her so much with the menu and all our guests spoke so highly of her and the team. The food was outstanding. It’s hard to put into words how delicious each serving was. We cannot thank the kitchen staff enough for the significant contribution to the success of our wedding day. Elisabete is so talented at what she does and deserves all the credit in the world. Not only is Isabelles’s an amazing restaurant but to host a wedding of 105 people to the standard that it was, we cannot be happier.
29/05/2026: The place had a decent, classy ambiance, and the cocktails were excellent. I tried the chicken croquettes as a starter, salmon for the main course, and a pecan nut tart for dessert. Everything was very tasty, but the portions felt quite small for the price.

Arisu
Dublin
07/06/2026: Dined here today and the food was wonderful. Steamed dumplings, chicken fried rice and the Korean BBQ.
Staff are to be complimented on their professional service.
I would highly recommend and look forward to visiting again when next in Dublin.
07/06/2026: I was told the most authentic Korean BBQ in town. It didn't disappoint. Place is easy to find, didn't book but there was no wait. When seated , the most ridiculous looking table you might think first but when they bring the meat and light it up, it all starts to make sense. The staff are always there to assist you if you forget to turn the BBQ on time. Found some parts of the plate burned more so than the other. So just keep turning them around. It is a wonderfully satisfying experience. Sides and salads were perhaps the only down side as the portion for 2 was barely enough. ( May be it's the norm). You get 1 1/2 hours session which is more than enough. I'd recommend it for the experience even if you are not a bbq fan.

JK Stoutmans
Dublin
09/05/2026: Finished up at the distillery and still had about an hour to burn before my train ride, so naturally I made the responsible decision and stopped into DV8 Bar & Venue for “hydration.”
Grabbed a Jameson ginger and lime along with a bag of scampi fries for a snack. Between the miles of walking around Dublin, climbing tower stairs, accidentally rerouting my entire rail journey, and the whiskey tasting earlier, I had definitely earned it.
The drink was simple but solid. Cold, crisp, easy to drink, and probably exactly what my legs needed at that point in the day.
The scampi fries continue to confuse me slightly as an American. They somehow taste like seafood, vinegar, pub salt, and bad decisions all at once, yet pair perfectly with an Irish whiskey highball.
Staff at DV8 were friendly and welcoming, which honestly has been one of the more consistent things I’ve noticed throughout Ireland. Whether it’s a museum, distillery, train station, or pub, most places feel less transactional and more conversational.
Not a bad way to close out an unplanned “I missed my train stop and accidentally spent the day exploring Dublin” adventure.

19/05/2026: Shop is lovely, staff are lovely, most products are excellent. This evening though I purchased the "bouquet of the week" which turned out to be just spray painted flowers, see pictures and you decide... Very disappointed with this purchase. "Buyer beware"
11/05/2026: Excellent place for shopping, good food and selection, great ad.
Service all round very good - and enjoyable shopping.

Queen of Tarts
Dublin
05/11/2025: This café is unfortunately no longer there. We were really looking forward to it.
13/10/2025: First of all, it was wonderful to be welcomed by the Italian owner!
The place is located right in the city center and is very charming, structured on two levels. Breakfast is highly customizable: from sweet pastries like brioches to huge, typical local breakfasts (I took it!).
The coffee is Italian, so exceptional!
We'll definitely be back when we next visit Dublin!

Metro Cafe
Dublin
07/06/2026: Nice little cafe with a limited selection of breakfast items. The bacon roll was incredible though, stacked with bacon it almost topples over when presented.
01/06/2026: Unreal curry one of the best I’ve ever had. The cure after night out

Soup
Dublin
07/05/2026: I've never reviewed a place in my life, but the food was amazing genuinely, the Korean fried chicken is a MUST HAVE. Gluten free and strictly coeliac options are available here for almost everything on their menu, in my short visit there the staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere in the place felt very chill and cosy, I may have to dine in next time instead of ordering collection but I'll definitely be back!
24/04/2026: Been here multiple times, the Ramen is brilliant. The Pork Ramen with shoyu is particularly good, I'd also recommend trying the Korean fried chicken for starter and the Bombay butter chicken Ramen. Also, great choice of music!

Nomo Ramen
Dublin
30/12/2025: I used to love Nomo. I was one of their very first customers on opening day and have supported them for years. Back then, the owner was almost always present. These days, it’s rare to see him, and I’ve visited on different days trying to notice a pattern. What I’ve observed is that when he is there, the ramen tastes exactly as it used to, which was impeccable. However, when he’s not around and the main lady chef is on duty, the ramen is noticeably different: blander and lacking the care and depth it once had. This is no personal criticism of the chef, just an honest observation about consistency. Unfortunately, like many growing restaurants, it seems that as the business expanded and the owner became less present, the quality has suffered. For now, I’ll be giving the Nomo trips a break.
29/12/2025: Delicious! 😋 Among my top 3 ramen experiences.

Travellers Lodge Stephens Green
Dublin
28/10/2025: The place is really nice and the waitresses are very friendly. The service is great; the only downside is that there are hardly any vegan options, but they made a vegan meal for my friend and me.
26/10/2025: Delicious hidden gem, the banana bread French toast was so lovely, staff were lovely, thanks for being dog friendly, we were so grateful to have somewhere as nice as this to get cover from the rain and have delightful food.
