The best restaurants in Dublin

02/11/2025: We were immediately denied comfortable seating and forced into the smallest, most inconvenient table, only to watch later guests be effortlessly seated where we were refused. The staff's hostile actions compounded the issue: While looking at the menu, a waiter violently struck the menu with a water bottle right next to us, offering no apology and a deeply aggressive stare suggesting we were the problem. Furthermore, while our waiter ignored us, other employees clearly saw we needed service but deliberately chose to look away. We were made to feel like unwelcome intruders, not paying guests. Given the premium price point of this establishment, the service was truly shocking—McDonald's offers a far more respectful and functional experience. This deeply unsettling treatment is an established, consistent pattern. The most concerning factor is that ownership and management appear fully aware of this long-standing issue but show zero intention or will to improve. Do not expect fair hospitality here.

27/10/2025: We had such a lovely lunch! The octopus was incredible, tender, perfectly charred, and bursting with flavour. The chicken and scallop tagliatelle were also fantastic, delicious and beautifully cooked. The team went above and beyond with a thoughtful anniversary dessert detail, which really made our day feel special. Thank you for such a memorable meal. We’ll definitely be back soon!

09/02/2025: Unreal flavour, great value. Went in for a quick bite to eat on a Sunday, staff so friendly. Had a duck bao bun. Can't recommend more 10/10

28/09/2025: Our party of 9 had a table booked for main course only tonight. Service was quick, friendly and efficient. The menu had a great range and everyone found something interesting to order. Upstairs a live jazz band was playing which added to the atmosphere, but didn’t overwhelm the conversation at our table. When the food arrived it got a unanimous thumbs up. Throughout the meal our server Bianca regularly checked up on us to make sure all was well and that the drinks were kept topped up as required. A few of us had desserts or tea/coffee afterwards to round off our meals. I highly recommend this gem of a restaurant which has been a part of Dun Laoghaire for as long as I can remember.

09/11/2025: The food was excellent, with truly magnificent quality. The only point that could be improved is the waiting time for the waiter to serve the table — it was a bit too long. Other than that, everything was perfect!

31/08/2025: It’s your typical local pub with only pizza and/or sandwiches as food, you can book an event and bring in your platters etc but it’s just an old well worn place we’re alright, the patrons know one another.

03/12/2025: Good afternoon, I would like to file a complaint about a problem that occurred today. My wife bought a cheese pastry at the establishment and suffered a reaction due to cross-contamination. She is allergic to fish and, even choosing a risk-free flavor (cheese), she was still affected. This indicates serious flaws in the cleaning, sanitizing, and food handling processes, putting consumers with allergies at risk. I ask that this case be seriously analyzed and that measures be taken to ensure that situations like this do not happen again. Thank you for your attention.

02/12/2025: Working out in leisure centres the past few years falling in and out of the gym and gaining weight were my workouts were pretty dead...decided to join colosseum gym and has giving me a new perspective and generally a great boost in life... Reminds me of the old underground gyms back in the day were the real workouts are done.. Really loving this gym ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

08/10/2025: They look good, and the BBQ wings are delicious. The nachos are also very good. The steak sandwich is also great. From Monday to Thursday, you can get a snack for €10 per person, including a pint! A dream in Dublin. The waiters were friendly.
