The best restaurants in Dublin

12/10/2025: Pretty disappointing. Our party of 4 arrived early in the morning when there were only 2 or three tables of 2 currently being attended to. We ordered simple main dishes (pancakes, eggs, bacon and roasted red tomatoes,) and then proceeded to watch every other table that came in after we ordered get their food before us. The servers (who, while polite, seemed not to notice us without our orders until 25 minutes into waiting,) offered us an extra round of coffee and tea on the house. After we finally got our orders, (after every other table that came in well after we arrived mind you,) we noticed the cooks skimped out on quality to rush the food to us. I.E. our “roasted cherry tomatoes” (plural) was only one uncooked tomato. Additionally, the pancakes ordered were uncooked in the middle, indicating a panicked and rushed job. We still tipped the server due to their consideration, but the experience itself was skimpy, disappointing, and frustrating. While I’m assuming this was just a fluke, it definitely left a poor impression.

11/10/2025: has a lot of options for breakfast and lunch so i liked it a lot. i went there a couple of times because i liked the place and the staff was always kind.

02/10/2025: Had a great dinner at Nando’s! The burger was super tasty and the service was brilliant. Big thanks to Calvin for being so friendly and attentive, he really made the experience better. Will definitely be back!

25/10/2025: Great little pub. Service excellent. Pints of stout excellent. A few lovely tunes playing in the corner. A real Dublin pub you must visit.

19/10/2025: Such a shame. We had a beer and walked around the city when we passed by this establishment. We could hear the music from the street so we decided to finish our drink and head to this place. When we got inside, the waiter told us that he wouldn't serve us because we drunk outside the establishment. I tried to tell him that if was just unfortunate and we didn't have any bad intentions but he threw us out acting in bad faith. Well, sorry buddy, I'd have loved to visit this establishment but you were rude and frankly ridiculous.

07/09/2025: Nice city centre pub with friendly staff and warm atmosphere. Couple of craft beers on tap including a nice Kinnegar IPA. Pints are €8 though which is a crazy price even for Dublin. Won't be back.

02/09/2025: A pub that remains a quiet gem of the Northside, wonderful stained glass windows and a great affinity with the nearby Abbey Theatre. Stout is excellent.

21/09/2025: Not the best milk quality which affects the coffee taste. Also do something about the lids please as they do not hold at all. Not a bad spot though.

14/10/2025: A small place in the center of Dublin that offers a wide variety of breakfasts. The portions are generous. Everything we ordered was good, but be careful if you ask for the healthy omelettes...they smother them in cheese like there's no tomorrow! It's good enough, but not so good!

29/07/2025: Lovely place, great cocktails. Pizzas delicious, would steer clear of the ravioli. Two of our party had it and both didn’t rate it. Tasteless and more like a soup broth with a bit of pasta thrown in.

19/10/2025: The Pork Ramen was absolutely amazing! You should try the Korean Fried chicken too.

17/10/2025: After a lovely sea swim, this was my first time eating here. I have since been back 3 times. Absolutely delicious food 😍 We ate a lot but still didn’t spend too much compared to some places. Staff were lovely also 😊

15/10/2025: I've never had fish and chips this good, not even in London! The atmosphere is quaint, the service is quick and friendly. If you're visiting Howth, don't miss this pub!

10/10/2025: The food was great and the servers were friendly. There's a bar area with music and a more secluded area where you can relax and eat. The pasta with salmon and the apple crumble were very good.

04/08/2025: Lovely place. A lot of young folks, some funny board games and great selection of drinks. Loved the vibe only down side the room was quite big and it was really hard to understand each other because of the noise (which is quite unfortunate for playing board games) but would recommend!

16/07/2025: Awful staff, expensive drinks, piss poor service The cohort working the bar seemed more interested in having a pissed off look on their face then serving drinks, it appears asking for a drink in this place is akin to soliciting a member of staff for one of their kidneys with their attitude A shame on customer service in this city

03/08/2025: A true taste of Italy in Dublin Caffè Cagliostro is such a gem! It’s one of the few spots in Dublin where you can enjoy a truly authentic Italian coffee experience. The coffee is rich, smooth, and clearly made with care—exactly what you’d hope for in a proper Italian café. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with that genuine European café feel that makes you want to linger a bit longer. It’s the perfect place to pause during a busy day, whether for a quick espresso or a relaxed cappuccino. The only challenge is that it can be hard to find a seat sometimes, which just goes to show how popular and loved this place is. Overall, if you’re in Dublin and craving a real Italian coffee, this is the spot. Highly recommend!

30/07/2025: I'm only posting this photo because... at Caffè Cagliostro you can find good Italian coffee, and for us Italians, this photo represents everything, in my opinion. The Italian staff are very friendly and open to conversation, even about music and instrumentals. When I return to Dublin, I'll definitely be back.

15/10/2025: Food gives Indian/Pakistani touch but it's extremely expensive. The food price doesn't match with any other restaurants which are far better than Khan. I am quite surprised how the owner of this restaurant set the price of everything.

05/10/2025: Got the Khans special biryani. Was pretty good and a big portion.
