28/12/2024: ¡Ni siquiera puedo empezar a dar una calificación! Ha estado muchas veces a lo largo de los años y ha funcionado caliente y frío. Es un restaurante local que siempre apoyaríamos, pero esta noche fue nuestra última visita. El servicio de principio a fin fue frío , antipático y como todo vale ... Familia de 5 adultos todos por encima de 5 pies más y bebé nos pusieron en una mesa que no podíamos mover . . dijo entonces por una camarera oh mira si quieres sentarse allí hazlo! Encontramos nuestra propia mesa... y como si nadie supiera que estábamos allí. No hay menús o ajustes de mesa y nadie se acercó a nosotros durante al menos 20 minutos hasta que preguntamos o atrajimos al personal de servicio. ¡Quién era amable pero no le importaba! En cuanto a la comida... Aprecio su ocupado y es después de Navidad, pero le enseñé al cliente que siempre tenía razón Comida... Los entrantes estaban bien, pero falta de atención. Mains... Pavo y jamón y relleno habían visto días mejores. . Yo cocinaría mejor. . ¡Chicken Supreme era del tamaño de un nugget de pollo y el chorizo de pasta era como un chorizo aceitoso! Y los langostinos y salsa una decepción y patatas al horno y verduras y puré estaban cansados y grumosos y fríos... No nos quedamos de postres... ¿por qué lo haríamos...? Cuando se lo compramos al camarero dijo el plato. Estamos limpios no es verdad la mayoría no fue comido ¡Lo llamó la atención del jefe y pudo verlo reír! Como fuimos a pagar que como todos sabemos caro comer fuera en familia se lo dijimos al gerente que acaba de cepillarlo. Trabajo en una industria donde el servicio al cliente y la satisfacción es tan importante A tu manager no le importa menos... Así que no volveremos ni recomendaremos amigos o familiares para visitar y vivimos localmente Hay mucho mejores lugares para comer en el pueblo que nos encanta y comemos regularmente. Prefiero dar mi dinero a estos lugares locales más pequeños y tristemente luchar, pero manteniendo a sus clientes satisfechos. Probablemente no harás nada para cambiar y continuar, pero por un restaurante que era bueno .. ya no eres bueno, lo que es una gran decepción

22/12/2024: I had lunch here for the first time in many years. I remember it as having been quite good, but it is now a big disappointment, mediocre food, rude staff and nowhere to put a bicycle.

18/12/2024: Overall experience was good! Loved the interior, absolutely beautiful! Very reasonable priced and good food! The two things let the place down: my husband asked for a new chair because the one he was sitting was wobbly, he got a new chair just as wobbly and the guy serving us said in a very ignorant way that the floor is not levelled, the building was built in 17…… ! A few minutes later my husband asked a girl working there for another chair, and it was perfect, nothing wrong with the floor, the chairs were just not strong enough! Second, the menu never mentioned that the schnitzel is made out of pork, we wouldn’t have ordered it! I’m sure somebody who eats pork would have like it but we didn’t!

04/01/2025: The food was excellent but the service was not. Our first drinks came after our starters and the wine we ordered with our mains came after we’d finished eating and once the table had been cleared. They did apologise for the drink delay however it was very disappointing

23/12/2024: A lovely spot with delicious food and good service, but unfortunately we were sat outside in the middle of December which severely dampened the experience. There are some heaters but they’re not enough to keep the area warm. The DJ was wearing a scarf a hat and a puffy jacket to try keep himself warm. I don’t think they should offer seating in the terrace during the winter months as it’s far too cold to enjoy the experience. I just think for the price we paid to dine here they should’ve invested in some better heaters. As for the food, we both got pizza and it was absolutely delicious. My cocktail (The Rated R) was delicious, and our servers were friendly and quick. I’d love to go back in the summer time but unfortunately I would avoid this restaurant unless it’s a bearable temperature if they’re going to be seating people outside

05/12/2024: Great atmosphere, but pricy drinks! That's everywhere these days though🙃

28/11/2024: I had lunch and was glad to have table service rather than the carvery style lunch which is the style in most gastro pubs these days. I had chicken curry and latte, which were of good quality. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the setting is great.

01/11/2024: It never changes, staff great,floor staff amazing. Pint is one of the best. Must visit.

04/01/2025: Really nice spot. Haven’t been here in years. Great team behind the bar - couldn’t fault it, a really solid local pub.

28/12/2024: This is a drinkers bar . There’s a nice mix of regulars and fly by night customers. The bar is named after the foundation of the GAA in 1884 . There’s a massive beer garden with a huge big screen and loads of room. Down to business The pints of stout are expertly crafted with professional pride . The whiskey selection is massive The spots are all there and all of the Red Breasts The Middleton is there along with a lot of lesser known whiskey. The toilets are spotless and the staff are very helpful. There’s a massive amount of GAA memorabilia on the walls .

30/12/2024: Pub worth visiting, typical Irish food and live music in the afternoons.

30/12/2024: Extensive multi-storey pub with nice seating areas. However, a simple bowl of nachos takes 40 minutes. That's way too long for a mediocre dish. Service is also not very friendly.

21/12/2024: Was there on 20th Dec and food wasn't great for the price. Vegetable dumplings were the worst I've ever tasted and I can't believe that my daughter's main course of prawns with wasabi were served on Pringles. Extremely cheap quality of food. Plus it was so cold in the restaurant we ate with our coats on. Just a bad expensive experience overall. Definitely won't be back.

15/12/2024: Takeout from Nan. A delightful experience all around. The dumplings were flavorful, juicy and the wrapper was thin. The pork was tasty and the soup was very very good. The broth was packed with flavor,umami and spam like all good things should be. The staff was very kind and helpful and it is an overall recommendable experience, most definitely will return.
