The best restaurants in Dublin

25/09/2026: Had boneless bbq wings and a cheeseburger. Was absolutely delicious. Plate of wings stacked high and full of flavour. And the burger was massive and juicy and bursting with flavour. Will definitely be coming back.

19/07/2026: The service was really good, staff was very friendly and the food was wondeful. I had a portion of feijoada, which is my favourite dish from Brazil, and my boyfriend tried some Brazilian-style strogonoff (he's not Brazilian and never interacted with Brazilian cuisine). We left the place wishing for more, despite how full we felt! It also gave me a good taste of home, one that I most definitely have missed since moving away a few years ago. Aside from that, the place is also very easy to get to (being located just off of Temple Bar Square) and very clean. Parabéns pro restaurante, simplesmente o gosto brasileiro mais autêntico que eu já provei fora do Brasil!

02/06/2026: I stayed here in May 2026 and is a hidden gem in the middle of everything. Very quiet, safe and comfortable. Everything you want to see and do in Dublin is within walking distance. They have a restaurant and bar within the hotel. A grocery store just around the corner and numerous restaurants. I would highly recommend.

04/05/2026: An amazing stay! It was our first time in Dublin and the staff made you feel welcome almost immediately! We arrived at the hotel in the morning and knew that there may not be any rooms available yet, they still checked and apologized when there weren't any rooms. They happily took our bags so we can go sight see in the meantime. We went to sight see around the area and since this hotel is in such a great location, you can walk everywhere. Check in is usually at 3 but when they had a room available at 2 PM they called us and had our bags all ready in the room when we arrived. Each time we talked with them, they mentioned that they can help us find anything should we need it. Above and beyond helpful, friendly service. I would stay at this hotel every time, it really made us want to come back. The bathrooms are extremely clean, the water pressure is AMAZING, and shower amenities were great! The beds are comfortable, very clean. Honestly not a single complaint to be made, this is a great hotel. We had debated against the Mercantile and the Grafton, we walked by the area where the Mercantile is located and were so glad we chose the Grafton Hotel. It is in an area that is not overly crowded on the streets and extremely quiet for an area by the uni and so many bars. Lots to do in the area and you can venture out to more if you wish. We stayed at a 4 star hotel in London and it does NOT compare to the service, hotel itself, and location of the Grafton Hotel. Next time I would make a longer trip in Ireland, fly out and maybe do a day trip to London(if we wanted), and do day trips to different parts of Ireland instead. But always make sure to stay at the Grafton Hotel. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable.

13/09/2026: Extremely hostile bar staff upstairs, sexist and unecissarily agressive to some women laughing while a few feet away men are laughing and shouting about a football match and nothing is said to them. Quite shocked at this 1950s attitude in 2026. AVOID.

01/06/2026: A quiet early evening with friends. We weren’t big spenders but the staff treated us like stars. So very courteous professional and helpful. I recommend the Toastie. Fresh crunchy Batch bread with good ham and cheese inside. The strong mustard sachet gave an added zing to a proper tasty meal.

08/05/2026: One of my favourite pubs in Dublin. This is a small cosy pub. The bathrooms are small and so is the pub in general. Located close to Trinity college it attracks a good few students so always a nice buzz even on tbe quieter days

07/09/2026: Stopped in because I had to use the bathroom and we sat down for a pint. The staff (Derrick) and other patrons were amazing and so friendly to talk to. Definitely a hidden gem!

23/08/2026: We had a lovely dinner at O'Sheas . The staff very nice and welcoming . We had a Sirloin Steak with fries and salad . The meat was just perfect , very good size and was exactly the way we asked. I recommend and I would go back again for sure ! Thank you all

03/09/2026: A lovely café in the middle of the park with cozy outdoor seating. We went there for breakfast and found the food delicious and the prices fair. They offer many vegetarian options, such as yogurt with granola and a vegan breakfast roll. We would definitely come back if we are ever in the area again.

08/09/2026: Just moved into the area and already really like this spot. Feels Openminded and the staff is lovely. Steve is great and Diane who recently started is doing a great job! My one little request as a new local: please stock some tomato juice 😄 I love a Bloody Mary, and it would also be great to have tomato juice on its own when I’m not drinking. Will be around a lot 🤣🤣

06/09/2026: It’s the second time we’ve tried to go but couldn't get in because they say it’s full; it’s a shame.

22/08/2026: Staff is friendly and always willing to assist. Coffee is really good!! The sandwiches are next level! Place a bit small but cozy. Small cactuses are the vibe!!
