Rudys Restaurant
Dublin
15/01/2026: The food at this restaurant is absolutely amazing. The chefs are incredibly talented, and everyone working in the kitchen and the front-of-house team are so friendly and welcoming. I had a cauliflower soup that was, without a doubt, the best I’ve ever had it was delicious. All the other dishes I’ve tried here have also been consistently impeccable. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
12/01/2026: Food was really tasty, but the portion size was very small. Had the beef ravioli which I really enjoyed, very little beef filling and a very small serving. Guest had the cod, again quite nice but a small portion.
Dessert was OK.
Overpriced for what we got.

Liang's Cafe & Restaurant
Dublin
24/01/2026: Second time coming here, great food and service, they do not rush you if you are enjoying your food and catching up with friends as we were. Book in advance.
24/01/2026: When I walked through the doors, I did not think that the food will be amazing, but it is so amazing that I did not care if the atmosphere and service wasn't perfect. Would quite recommend for exeptional food.

Castleknock Hotel
Dublin
24/11/2025: Went for a day spa with lunch. Absolutely fabulous
23/11/2025: Stayed here again last week after a great stay last Christmas. Unfortunately, the service and food in this hotel has taken a nose dive in the last 12 months. Bar was packed when we arrived and there was no bar staff working for at least 10 minutes to serve anyone. I’ve never seen this before. The dinner inclusive menu has really been stripped back to basics. The food last year was gorgeous with plenty of choice. However this time round there was a choice of about 4 mains of which one was steak with a €12 supplement. I had fish and chips both times and the difference in quality was stark. No comparison between the two dishes. Breakfast the following day was a joke. It was like Dublin airport with eveyone coming and going. There was a queue of about 10 people waiting for one toaster where everyone had to toast their slice 3 or 4 times to actually get it to toast. Needless to say your hot breakfast is cold then by the time you sit down. We mentioned it to staff but it seemed to fall on deaf ears. I know this hotel is part of a huge chain and definitely lacks that touch where your custom is valued. Will not be back.

The Horseshoe Bar
Dublin
24/12/2025: An incredible experience. The service was excellent, everything was beautifully done and felt very high-end, yet I felt completely comfortable throughout. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Many thanks.
15/12/2025: More expensive than our usual dinner around Dublin but completely worth it. Food was of the highest quality and service was equally as good.

The Auld Triangle
Dublin
12/01/2026: A small corner pub in the best sense. Good pints, quickly poured, self-service as usual in a pub – our favorite beer, Smithwick's on tap for €5/pint. 👍
14/12/2025: Village atmosphere in the city.
Typical Irish pub decor, but because it is. Guinness at a good price!

McSorley's
Dublin
17/11/2025: Nice place with two bars, one quite and the other with music and a dance floor.
16/11/2025: Really salty food, pints of guinness were really poor and spoilt wine. Good place to watch a match but little else.

Street Restaurant
Dublin
22/12/2025: The food here ranges from good to outstanding, depending on the night, with the black dal probably the highlight. Unfortunately they've had some serious misses lately, especially the lamb jalfrezi that was unpalatably sweet, as if someone had added a ton of sugar or jaggery. The aloo tikki also tasted as if it had been cooked and left sitting for a while. There's no reason to adulterate food for the Irish palate. Stick with what's been successful at Pickle and previously here.
15/12/2025: The food is good.. loved chicken 65. Butter chicken biryani was good, but I wouldn’t want my biryani to be sweet, but because it was butter chicken, I can understand. The food was on the sweeter side. Prices are quite high.

Merrion Fare
Dublin
11/08/2025: Went for afternoon tea, the setting was beautiful and so relaxing with the piano being played in the background. The staff were all excellent and the coffee was delicious.
01/08/2025: The Art Afternoon tea was such a lovely experience - the food is absolutely delicious and beautifully presented in luxurious surroundings. The second serving of the deserts which are intricately designed to complement the hotel's beautiful art collection is a lovely addition. The service was excellent. Thoroughly recommended.

Lennan's Yard - Pub, Bar & Restaurant
Dublin
18/10/2025: Had dinner upstairs at ASADOR with friends and we managed to fit 5 people comfortably at a table normally for 4. The staff were attentive and friendly from start to finish. We shared some of the breads and spreads, then each tried a main and a side—every dish was delicious, with perfectly sized portions. For dessert, we all went for the chocolate fondant with ice cream, which was a highlight. Great dining experience overall!
15/09/2025: Myself and some friends popped in there Saturday after we did the Vintage Afternoon Tea Tour on the bus, the girls had gone in here earlier before the tour for a half hour and liked it so we went back there, the place was busy so no seating inside and that was roughly at around 2.30pm so we had to sit outside in the yard which I didnt like at all because it was freezing. I did see a yard heater at the back but not where we were sitting, first off they dont take cash at the bar outside and the guy behind the bar was very smart about it so I had to go inside each time to get a drink and the bar staff there were not impressed I had cash one guy said to the girl serving " she wants a Moretti and she is paying cash " and made a face then snapped the cash out of my hand so bad manners all round.
My next issue is the toilets they are unisex so when we went in there was a stink from them of urine and to use the bathrooms I had to close the toilet seat down whilst having my hand wrapped in toilet paper after a man used it and also had to wipe away urine that he had left there on the toilet !!
To me that is disgusting and why women and men have to use the same bathrooms is beyond me, as the day went on the toilets just got worse and I didnt see anyone coming in to clean them.
The girls serving outside were nice and we did like the glasses that the drinks were served in but for me that was the only positive, I didnt think the atmosphere was that good at all and we were there for a few hours, we left there and went to another bar for food and I dont think I will return again.
I can't comment on the food as we didn't eat there, it was €7.90 for a pint of Moretti which is standard over pricing when you are in Dublin City and I am from Dublin and work in the hospitality industry.
