The sandwich was not great.
There was no live music.

Also recommend the Honeydew milk tea.
Location is excellent too.

27/11/2024: Moore Street Mall is a mall that offers most of what you would expect - from shops to eateries. For those who like to shop, it is certainly a nice place, but for me, who is not a big fan of malls, it feels quite average. The atmosphere is okay, but nothing that stands out.
A visit might be worth it if you have a specific business, but not something I would go back to without reason.

30/03/2025: Went there today for a quick bite as this was closest eating place to Shanganagh Park. The ladies were very polite & friendly. The cafe in itself seemed a bit outdated & poorly lit. Outdoors is def better option when weather permits. Had iced coffee which was below average with one cube of ice floating in the coffee instead of crushed ice. The carrot cake was also average, not great. Could try their breakfast offering next time but the sausage rolls on display looked a bit dry.

17/02/2025: Had an urgent personal matter come up and noticed hotel with plenty notice and they refused to refund my booking. Said no reason was acceptable to get a refund. Only hotel I've ever encountered refuse to refund. All others if book non refundable through a third party website understand if urgent matters come up and always provide a refund if notice given as they understand things out of people's control can happen. Never dealt with such rude inconsiderate people. Clearly don't care about anyone other than money. Do not book here as if something urgent comes up say goodbye to your money

22/12/2024: A really nice cafeteria; one of the best on UCD campus in terms of quality and service. Food is cooked fresh every day, and the menu changes around weekly so always some variety and the price is affordable comparatively speaking to other food around the university. Staff are super nice, Laura and Jenny are lovely!

08/03/2025: The place is beautiful, but the staff is absolutely terrible. I asked twice to be moved to a different table. They gave us an awful table on the balcony. I asked twice to be relocated, but they just smiled, said “yes, yes,” and kept seating other guests as if nothing had happened. This is complete disrespect towards their guests. Disgusting, I’m never coming back.

22/03/2025: Stopped for dinner, Guinness, and some cider after a long day of travel. The atmosphere was fun, and we got to watch some Irish hurling on a big-screen TV. The Guinness pie was quite tasty and the beef tender. The lamb in the Irish stew was pretty fatty/chewy, and the stew pretty watery. I was disappointed.

The tables were dirty and sticky, which made our visit less enjoyable. Additionally, while the cream in the croissant was good, the pastry itself didn’t taste fresh.
I truly appreciate supporting local businesses and understand the challenges of maintaining quality, but I believe attention to cleanliness and product freshness is essential for a great customer experience. I hope you can take this feedback into account.
