30/10/2024: Ordered from the spice cottage for a number of years. Prices have been going up and portion sizes have been getting smaller and smaller over the past year. This review is specifically related to the last order which was an hour late, arrived cold, and didn’t include an item which I paid for. They lied and said they couldn’t refund me (even though they took money for something they didn’t deliver), before their manager then said he would refund my card. Two weeks later and no refund.

29/10/2024: Always loved their Sausage rolls (any fillings), Passionfruit muffins, and Brownie!
The sausage rolls are very well seasoned, buttery pastry with delicious sausage meat filling. The passionfruit muffins are not too sweet, which is amazing!.
The brownie always got compliments whenever I brought it to, especially if it’s reheated in the microwave for a while, as it melts! And perfect to be paired with vanilla ice cream ☺️
Also this cafe is dog friendly 🐶 they provide some free dog treats, water bowl for thirsty doggo, and the outdoor seating by the river is always my go to!

Bar, quietly able to talk, and friendly approachable locals made me welcome, and my visit all the more sociable. A great pint of Guinness and a warm, amicable atmosphere.
Christmas greetings with friendly smiles.
The service is professional and second to none as the bar staff take heed of their customers' requirements.
Highly Recommended.
Hope to catch up with the locals again on another date!

05/08/2024: Love this place. Best coffee in the area. And probably the most reasonable too. The owner and the baristas are top quality when it comes to making the coffee. The staff are exceptionally friendly and get to know you very quickly which is a nice touch. I dont have to ask anymore what I want, they just know what I am about to order! Brought some kids in recently as they also do great icecream. Love their bring and take book section too

24/12/2024: We had our annual visit to the Fleet Hotel. As always we were looked after very well. We have stayed in many different types of rooms and all are finished to a high standard. Great use of space in all rooms. The staff are excellent and nothing is too much trouble. The reception area is amazing and is done beautifully for Christmas. Breakfast is fresh and has everything you could want.

21/08/2024: The sign said "best scones in Dublin" and frankly, they are unmissable. The other desserts are excellent, especially the lemon cake. The Lavazza coffee is delicious and well roasted, served with talent.
In summary, a great little café, which keeps its simple touch with excellent products.

02/01/2025: Was only in function room, but good pint and the staff were very friendly and attentive, I dropped a couple of stars as they wouldn't let us cut and share the bday cake which I thought was really odd since we did have food. And the decor is very dated. Other than that great night though.
11/12/2024: Right in the middle of Ballyfermot a well established pub. We only used the function room but it was a great room to hold parties or other small events . The staff were helpful and friendly. I dropped a star as there are only stairs up to the room ,so it is not viable for disabled people.
