The Hut

09/03/2025: Heard good things about The Hut but walked out immediately when the dog attacked us. Absolutely shocking allowing a dog loose around a pub.
05/02/2025: Best pint in the neighbourhood. Best pub in Phibsborough. There’s a function room upstairs that hosts loads of different cool shit.

26/03/2025: It’s at times like this Google should have 10 stars. Because you deserve it. If you are into coffee or want to find a starting point this is the best money you will spend. There was a great balance of theory and practical. The content is delivered in a way that is easy to understand and relate to. During the practice there was 6 of us making coffee and no error was missed which was followed up with friendly correction, direction and encouragement which helped the group to shake any nerves and made us proudly present our work to each other.
Well done and a big thank you to Thomas.

Cocktails especially the margarita are a scam. There’s a huge block of ice in it and when it’s removed the glass is a quarter full. We addressed this to the bar tender who told us it’s standard measure. That was a disappointing considering they are like 13 euro/14 euro

30/03/2025: This was my second time visiting the cafe. I dropped in the cafe towards their closing time, yet they kindly let me stay. Though the options of pastries were limited at that point, the blueberry cream cheese tart that I tried was fabulous. The sourness of the berries and smooth texture of cream cheese and its very well balanced sweetness matched perfectly with each other. I also enjoyed Vanilla Rooibos tea as well as the last time, would definitely go back again.

12/04/2025: A cute little café on the edge of the park, not expensive, also had a vegan baguette on offer, good coffee, quick service, only outside. Perfect to linger.
16/03/2025: Small cafe in the park, perfect for a leisurely morning.
The prices are great and so is the selection of hot drinks. There is also a good selection of food, I had a croissant and would totally recommend it.
It simply has a cozy atmosphere and invites you to enjoy the park in comfort.
It's best to come by on Sundays, there is a small craft market in the park.
Just beautiful.

22/03/2025: The place has a lovely atmosphere with nice music, and the coffee is very good. The food is tasty, but the portions are extremely small. What really put me off was the serving style—despite dining in, everything came in disposable packaging: plastic forks and spoons, small plastic containers, and even my breakfast was served in a paper cup. For the price, I expected better presentation and a more sustainable approach. It’s just too expensive for such tiny portions in single-use packaging.

18/03/2025: I don't know what they are putting in these sandwiches but they are addictive. The bread with the little bit of salt on the top is to die for. Highly recommend the club sandwich! My only critique is I wish they had a better crisp selection to go with their amazing sandwiches.
13/03/2025: Way too expensive for what is essentially just a toastie full of crisps. Greasey and unsatisfying. Way too strong a taste of gherkin.
