22/04/2025: First time visiting here and have just had the best toasted sandwich I've ever had in my life. Service was quick and food came out even quicker. I can't describe how good this sambo was. It had the perfect mix if soft and crunchy, full of flavour and looked amazing

26/04/2025: I just ordered it on Deliveroo. A divine parmigiana. I can't even comment on the rice and beans. I would eat your rice and beans without anything else, it's so wonderful. Light, my God. What a taste of Brazil. I had to come and comment on it. The best Brazilian food I've had in Dublin. It's a 10 out of 10 compared to the others.

08/06/2025: Ive heard loads of very positive things about this place before . Visited the restaurant today and the food is very basic tbh. I taught it’s gunna be a proper taste of Naples but it’s just another Italian pizza around Dublin - 2 stars for food cuz the 3 pizzas I’ve tried are very basic tbh- if you are local great place for sit in , but coming from far away isn’t worth it

27/05/2025: Nice pizza, the sauce & ingredients were fresh. The only thing that would have given it a 5 is if it was crispier. Staff were nice but seemed a little overwhelmed, as the restaurant was busy. Will come back in the future at some point.

10/06/2025: It was my second time here but every visit is just as good. The staff was very attentive and friendly, and the food was delicious. They always have some sort of special, so there's something new to try. I had the burrito bowl this time around and it was great - filling and tasted amazing.

19/05/2025: Head snapped off despite waiting to be seated. Coffee good. The person wasn’t sure if Superfood salad contains suga. Staff have break in main customer area but make noise/on the phone. Door (kitchen?) bangs v loudly.

24/04/2025: This coffee shop is what truly makes my workdays better. The atmosphere, the coffee, and especially the service from the team are consistently on point. A special shoutout to Sean he’s the best at what he does. His passion and energy elevate the whole experience, making it more than just a great coffee shop. It’s a place you genuinely look forward to visiting. Highly recommend!

12/04/2025: Lavazza cafe inside the applegreen garage. The coffee is always amazing. The staff are lovely and friendly. They always listen to your order, which is rare these day. Great value for money. 🙂

18/05/2025: Walked in and they had no idea where we were to be sitting for our reservation. They placed us outside even though we did not ask or book to sit outside however the reservation list told us we booked outside but this was not the case as there are no booking options for outside. We were placed at a table for 6 people and the waiter had no idea what was going on. We asked for a table inside from two other waiters and they barely had any english and they were telling us about en event upstairs which had no relevance to us. We were then told to go inside as to find a table for ourself. We were then greeted by our previous waiter who seated us at a table inside. Dinner was fine, then we asked for the bill and the waiter smiled at us and did not come back with a bill. We tried to order a cocktail and an orchard thieves. We ended up with a cocktail and a plate of chips after waiting for 10 mins after the cocktail arrived and even asking the waiter where was the orchard thieves. While all of this was happening we noticed a pint that was sitting for at least 15 minutes was served to a table after adding more head. The service here was terrible and I would never recommend this place to anyone and i would definitely never go back to the jar.

16/05/2025: Had my 40th birthday there on the bank holiday Sunday on their first floor terrace... the roof retracted and we were lucky enough to have great weather. Absolutely smashing evening, bartenders were great and food was good and reasonably priced. Served late and the DJ was good... absolutely perfect spot for a birthday celebration!

06/06/2025: I had a terrible experience at Street by Sunil, an Indian restaurant that completely failed to deliver on quality. The food they serve tastes like it was made a month ago and just thrown in the freezer — seriously old and stale! Dining in there costs a lot, but for the price, the quality is shockingly poor. I even spoke with one of the main chefs who works there, and he admitted that they use old food that’s been sitting around for weeks. This is unacceptable and unhygienic. I do NOT recommend eating here if you care about fresh, tasty food. Save your money and avoid this place at all costs.

25/05/2025: The ambiance is delightful, the service is excellent, and the food is truly delicious. Be sure to try the Channa Bhature and Veg Thali—they’re must-haves with generous portion sizes.

09/06/2025: This is a hidden gem. Their seafood is probably the freshest we had in Dublin. The prawns were fresh. The tostadas were the best.

09/06/2025: The food was great, the environment was nice, and the male waiter serving us was very warm and friendly. However, the only downside was that there was a young female waiter who was very rude, and I really didn't like her. At my birthday party, I didn't want to say anything. So I temporarily placed my cake box on the nearby table for easy access. But she said, "This one is not okay, that one is not okay..."

26/05/2025: I used to really enjoy this place, but they took away the QR codes and don’t want you going upstairs unless it’s a big group, I really don’t like what they’ve done, I loved the qr code system because I got to see a picture of what I was ordering and I didn’t have a waiter constantly coming over and asking if I’m ready to order. I really hope it goes back to the way it was

21/05/2025: I usually like to stop there and I was many times ,but this time I am giving the lowest possible review for food that was served to me fish chowder with literally two muscles inside and two tiny slices of bread .Please see yourself and let me know if anyone would pay 14 euro for this .Service is good ,the place is a nice and quiet location,but I suggest better caution with food since it's not important just visual ,Aldo portions are also small and tiny and there is no value in that meal at all . Disappointment today..Please see the attached photo of what I was served and what I got .I ordered fish chowder and one beer total cost of 21 euro and was left disappointed with the food completely .

22/05/2025: Excellent chicken and puff pastry - the vibes were excellent and I loved the ambiance. The burgers didn’t look very good so stick to traditional Irish grub.

05/06/2025: Walked into the pub on a quiet weekday afternoon to order a sandwich to bring back to my office. Stood at the end of the bar listening to the barman complaining to a customer about how stupid it was to expect him to make sandwiches and serve customers whilst he made a sandwich, I was prepared to wait if he was busy but apart from ignoring me and serving 2 customers that came in after me he then told me that he wasn’t doing take away sandwiches that day. To be honest I went to the Hyatt Hotel next door and got a lovely sandwich and excellent service

03/06/2025: This is a quintessential Irish pub. If you are near, go here and ask the questions. Fallons have fabulous stories and are happy to share.
