10/02/2025: This caffe has a delicious porridge with seeds, nuts, and honey. Plus, they serve an amazing filter coffee. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a great breakfast and wanting to try different types of beans!

08/04/2025: The sandwiches are delicious. I especially recommend the chicken chorizo ​​and chipotle beef. The coffee also has an excellent flavor that reminds me of Mexican coffee. 🤤 The service is excellent, with the entire staff smiling and friendly. If you want a delicious sandwich and coffee in Dublin, I highly recommend this place.

07/04/2025: I popped into Boca today for the first time to have some lunch.The piri piri chicken sandwich was absolutely delicious!! And an amazing flat white to go with it. All the staff were super friendly. I'll definitely be going back!

13/04/2025: Found the food extremely disappointing. Everything tasteless and didn’t taste fresh. They did their due diligence and took the food off the bill. I would avoid if you are someone who has tasted proper barbecue food before, you’ll be disappointed.

02/04/2025: Every thing is superb (moules, gambas, soup...). Great wines. Super service. Real brasserie's atmosphere. Perfect guinness... we will return.

06/04/2025: Great place for a quick breakfast. The breakfast buttie was delicious and filling. I'm not one for these type of breakfast, but the combination of the sausage, egg and some delicious onion gem took me by surprise. I recommend that you give it a try! Also the pancakes with eggs and bacon were nice. You get a bottle of meppel syrup on the table with them. And if you get breakfast and a normal cappuccino , they make it large for your for free.

10/04/2025: Service was extremely slow. Food served all at different times, I had my main course and my other two family members waited an additional 30 minutes for their pizzas. Not the fault of the wait staff they were rushed off their feet with large groups but overall totally unacceptable - nearly two hours to get through just starters and main course. When the food came it was mediocre - family said pizzas weren't too bad but the goujons I had were nothing special and the garlic cheese fries weren't good. Disappointing!

09/04/2025: Great ambiance, but terrible staff (sometimes) Borderline impolite and unwelcoming. The tone of voice is very condescending and have been quite literally asked to "ASK before sitting on specific tables" even when the entire café is almost empty. Sure as hell took away the friendly from the "friendly" café label. I usually prefer to not go to international coffee shops as a choice to support more local businesses, and decided to chuck the nearby Starbucks for this. But, guess I'll have to pick the better ones nearby, next time. You can get amazing coffee, but crappy service? That sticks with you way longer. Hot coffee. Cold service

21/03/2025: I usually love coming here. Today I brought my boyfriend for his birthday. We sat upstairs and it was empty besides us. The waitress ordered me to move my purse and take my coat off of an extra chair even though no one else was around, and no one else sat down for the entirety of our meal. I would have of course moved it promptly if I saw anyone else coming to sit down. It was quite confusing. Food was delicious as always.

29/12/2024: Hadn't paid tax in years and didn't have a liquor licence since 2022 but took our deposit the week before Xmas. Shameful

13/04/2025: Way over priced lately & not the same quality - 73€ for food for 2 adults & 2 children?. Had classic burger - tasteless meat not chargrilled, different bundy, cheese sauce on fries undercooked...very disappointing. Service very slow - staff more interested in loading up the straw containers than taking our order in an empty restaurant. 12th April 2025

30/03/2025: What a terrible experience! Poor service no cutlery no drinks given food cold. Drinks then came down wrong. Chips tasted reheated. Burger was nice. Queue to pay the bill was 25 mins felt like walking out. I would complain but nobody cares when I asked for my order. No kids juice no free toy no onion rings and no hot dogs!! Only saving grace was got 25% off our meal. Never again.

17/04/2025: I'm not usually leaving reviews, but the experience at this restaurant left us quite disappointed. The service at the Jar was really slow, as our order was taken around 20 minutes after we sat down. We got our cocktails fairly quickly after a 15 minute wait, but we waited for an hour for our food (2 pizzas). After asking for our food we were told by the waiters they'd "look into it" but we were not kept updated and eventually our food was brought to us. There was no compensation offered despite the long wait. When we asked for an explanation the answer we got was that there's something wrong with the WiFi/connection between the bar and kitchen. I understand sometimes things happen, but it feels like keeping your customers informed about the situation would be the bare minimum in this case. The food itself was pretty good, as well as the drinks, but because the service was very slow and the music extremely loud (I mean it wasn't possible to carry out a conversation without yelling), I wouldn't come back here. We were excited to have a nice dinner while in Dublin but this left us feeling disappointed.

22/02/2025: I recently called in for a takeaway. The food is always amazing with generous size portions. However, while I was sitting in reception, a waiter came from the upstairs restaurant to make a cocktail. He made the cocktail and poured the cocktail into a glass, and what didn't fit in the glass he drank himself!!! Needless to say, I was quite shocked.... Disappointing, and extremely unprofessional, and an accident waiting to happen!!!!

09/02/2025: We booked an early evening meal and the restaurant was already busy with a great atmosphere. Rachel was our waitress, and she is super friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable about the food. We shared our starters of pork,satay chicken, and spring rolls. All were delicious. We had a bottle of malbec which complimented our mains. We highly recommend this outstanding restaurant.
