03/11/2024: Very cool spot. Lots of little different areas to sit and chat. Staff get a bit frazzled when it's busy (Sunday AM is post swim coffee time in Sandycove) but not a big deal. Dog friendly. Will be back! Free parking along nearby residential streets.

15/12/2024: Went to see Sick Sister, Spatchcock & The Gas Mark 5 with support from Dubh Lee and Pointbreak. Savage night of choons and craic. The place was hopping!

06/12/2024: Just want to say thank you to all the staff at the maples from the receptionist to the bar staff to the breakfast staff the dj everyone was so nice and welcoming last week at my wedding party we had the best time and got to take some amazing photographs and make such nice memories honestly everyone had commented on how beautiful the hotel was and the christmas decorations made the day feel extra special would highly recommend the maples house hotel it truely is a hidden gem❤️ sinead and luey

15/11/2024: Poor taste and smelled bad Chef’s special 65 Biriyani was so bland and flavourless. Dry ( I assume they served leftovers from yesterday and reheated in Microwave) . Only boiled egg was genuine and fresh in that biriyani. Chilli Chicken was out of the world ( where is the coating? Where is the flavour ? I can call it more stir fry ( Chicken Spice bag) .

11/11/2024: Don’t order there - I ordered and paid online, but when tried to collect it (in email they said please visit after 30 mins) this place is closed!

24/12/2024: Been going here for a while now, it's a cute dog-friendly place with really good coffee. The serrano ham sandwich uses quality cheese and ham unlike other places that give you the cheap stuff, this one's delicious! The breakfast bap is super tasty and filling, too. The staff have always been friendly every time I go :)

19/12/2024: I ordered for delivery on justeat and never received a call or knock at my door. No food left outside either. When I checked the status tracker it was marked as delivered. Never received the order, rang the restaurant multiple times but no answer.

14/12/2024: Happened to drop in here for first time in years for a sandwich at lunchtime. Female bartender was lovely & friendly. Got the Xmas sambo & Food was delicious and even came with a little pot of gravy. Will be back again

09/12/2024: Hey, I was there at the pub just for one bottle of wine literally 20 minutes ago. we had some snacks in a box because we were waiting for a friend for a secret santa. the box was unfortunately the same style as the pizza that the security guy was eating something. For some reason, he thought that I was stealing his pizza (?) and he hold me in front of my table, hit me in my back twice and ask me what I was doing. Was so unnecessary and rude, the whole table was asking me to go to the bar complain about it but the whole situation was so awkward for me and I was so shamed to complain. But I just want you to make sure that this is not the proper way to treat customers. I will never comeback but I know for sure that he will stay working for you. Just to let you know

14/12/2024: My husband and I dined here while staying in Dublin for the night and the food was sublime. The chicken caesar salad was among one of the best I’ve had, and my husband’s burger was cooked to perfection. The staff was quite friendly and the kitchen very quick! Next time we are in Ireland we will absolutely be shopping again!
