15/02/2025: I never normally post bad reviews, but the service here was absolutely dreadful. Attended on Valentines day, service was inattentive, very slow and uncoordinated. Waited an hour and 20 minutes to receive the main after the starter. Food was below average for the price point.
Additionally, one of the plastic table flowers on an unattended table caught fire during our meal and took the waiting staff over 20 seconds to notice the blaze, pretty unsafe!

14/03/2025: Unfortunately we had a bad experience there last week. There was a bit of a discussion on what was served to us. Got it sorted and a new dish was served. Very nice Fish and Chips.
Paid at the bar for the meal. Left the place. Just got about 20 yards up the road and the waitress came shouting after us say we did not pay for the meal.
Luckily my wife had paid by card.
Ruined the hole day.

The atmosphere is warm, relaxed, and inviting, making it a great place to unwind. The food is of excellent quality, and the service is top-notch. The staff in both the lounge and restaurant are incredibly friendly and attentive. Overall, it’s a wonderful spot to enjoy an evening out.
29/03/2025: Been there so many times, honestly weirdest experience every time I go there, whenever there are matches on half the people are watching, the others are judging those watching. One of the most overstimulating places I've been. However; Their sticky toffee pudding is the best thing I have ever had, genuinely have perfected it. There's also a trad group that go over some evenings and really bring the atmosphere up.
Long story short- classic pub nothing else to say really
