The best restaurants in Dublin

20/12/2024: Been there for a conference. Never stayed in the hotel so no idea about the rooms. I have visited there conference room which is big enough to accommodate around 50 people. But it got little congested afterwards when people straight moving.

26/11/2024: We had an amazing stay in the Spencer hotel for a week - partly for work and partly leisure. Our room was lovely and light, the restaurant staff were really polite and friendly, the food was delicious, the receptionists were extremely helpful, the cleaners were excellent and always smiling - in fact it was the best hotel I have stayed in in my many visits to Dublin. I’d definitely recommend the hotel to others and look forward to returning again.

18/12/2024: Nice place but the Manager is awful. grand place to sit very demurely. No laughing or animated chat allowed.

15/11/2024: If you are a cocktail lover, then this place is the best you can get from Dublin. Can’t pick anything wrong since we sat down

16/12/2024: Mi bebé (2 meses de edad) y yo tuvimos una experiencia terrible en este café la semana pasada. Íbamos a tomar un poco de almuerzo de ellos, sin embargo, mi bebé necesitaba ser alimentado, ya que está bastante inquieta, así que decidí tomar un asiento para alimentarla mientras mi madre y su hermana estaban en la cola para pedir nuestra comida. De repente, uno de sus empleados se acerca a mí y a mi bebé y nos pide que dejemos la mesa y nos unamos a la cola, ya que aparentemente su política de cafés es hacer cola primero antes de agarrar una mesa. Le dije que sí entiendo que tienen esa política sin embargo le he explicado mi situación de que mi bebé necesitaba ser alimentado, ella fue firme para que nos fuéramos y nos uniéramos a la cola. Estaba realmente disgustado, ya que pensé que los cafés y lugares como ellos serían más complacientes para la madre y el niño y serían más amigables para la familia, me equivoqué. Me sentí humillado también por la forma en que el personal había tratado con nosotros delante de sus clientes, muy grosero. Por lo tanto, les estoy dando esta tarifa, esperemos que la próxima vez sean más considerados con las madres y los bebés que necesitan un espacio seguro para satisfacer las necesidades de sus bebés.

16/12/2024: My baby (2 month old) and I had an appalling experience in this cafe last week. We were to grab some lunch from them however my baby needed to be fed as she’s quite unsettled so I decided to grab a seat to feed her while my mother and her sister were in the queue to order our food. Suddenly one of their staff comes over to me and my baby and asks us to vacate the table and join the queue as it is apparently their cafes policy to queue first before grabbing a table. I told her I do understand that they have that policy however I have explained my situation that my baby needed to be fed, she was adamant for us to leave and join the queue. I was just disgusted really as I thought cafes and places like them would be more accommodating to mother and child and be more family friendly, I was wrong. I felt humiliated as well by the way the staff had dealt with us in front of their customers, really rude. Hence, I’m giving them this rate, hopefully next time they’d be more considerate to mothers and babies that are in need of a safe space to meet their babies needs.

15/12/2024: OMG brooooooo..The food there is fabulous! Just in case someone don't know that, the Korean hot sauce is the most spicy sauce in the restaurant ,then the buffalo sauce. All the sauce is made by themselves so you can't get the flavor in other places. As for the food , You must have to try the smoke stack burger and the really really crispy onion rings. The garlic mushroom is also good . For the free dip, just try Cajun mayo.Trust me. Every time I would order that. But ask the staff about the allergic ingredient if you have any requests. Oh yeah the cocktails. They have 2 for 18, you can pick two of the three types.Me always get frozen pornstar martini.Passions fruit flavour.☺️🍻 cheers!

14/12/2024: Two of us had dinner here early on a Thursday evening. Nice laid back atmosphere in the restaurant. We were looked after really well by the staff and the food was so so delicious. Great menu and no fuss. Will definitely be back

25/11/2024: Hands down the best sandwich I have had made in a long time and the banana cake was 10/10, damo behind the counter top man.

06/01/2025: I think its two storey we didn’t dine upstairs anyway but the downstairs was small . Our chair was almost bumping the next chair to us . Its situated in westmoreland so expect its a bit rough my husband nearly get into fight while having smoke outside. The food wasgorgeous thats what we went for anyways🤭my husband had the steak . He ordered medium rare and when he’s cutting through it , its still raw and it was chewy its really pink pink inside so he had put it to the attention of one of the staff . In fairness the staff was accomodating and the staff took the steak and got him a steak that is really medium rare. I had the grilled seafood bowl and it was lovely especially the big prawns in it. My son had a tacos mignion with a fries on the side and he liked it . The drink i have is the passionfruit spritz didn’t like it at all it tasted like a wash 🤭 i know you can’t taste a wash but the bubbles on top and the drink looks like it was taken from a sink wash .the strawberries are dry on the top. The desserts we had the cheesecake and pistacho tiramisu they were ok the tiramisu has too much cream on it though.

03/01/2025: Visited here in the lead up to Xmas and wasn't blown away. The starters were great - tostada, mussels, tacos. However when it came to the main just felt a little disappointed, it just lacked in some way. Also, 3 of 4 rib eyes ordered were opened (like photo) which can happen during cooking process but gave the look it had been cut into to check the temp... in a steakhouse. The medium rare was closer to rare, which I'm fine with so didn't bother mentioning. Sides were fine. Would I go back? Probably not.

24/12/2024: Just popped in hoping they had a free table.The Owner made 1 available. Really nice food...Garlic Naan and Tikka Masala were excellent. Poppadoms were an additional €3.50 though..... 😭

23/12/2024: Great pleasure to enjoy delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere with good friends. Good selection of wine 🍷 too. Two of us had the tasting menu which was excellent. All other meals were excellent too.

26/12/2024: I visited just before Xmas, staff were very rude. The drink was extremely expensive, the Guinness wasn't great either. Our bill came to over £400, when conparing to other places in the area for the same size family it was too expensive. Can't say I'll be back

26/11/2024: To the girl who offered vanilla syrup in my matcha, I love u, UNREAL! Was a tanned girly with curly hair and glasses if I’m not mistaken! Staff are so sweet and lovely! I didn’t see it but I hope there’s a way to tip with card as I only seen cash tip jar!

26/11/2024: I’ve tried coffee in so many places around Dublin and this is honestly the best. So consistently great too which is hard to keep up! Great atmosphere too:)
