The best restaurants in Dublin

19/10/2025: Had an awesome night at Jackies in Dublin. Good music and the drinks and food were fantastic. Big shoutout to Danielle, she kept our glasses full the whole time and even after our booked slot ended, she hustled to find us a nice spot. Really nice girl, made the night one to remember.

14/10/2025: Incredible pub with a great theme and atmosphere. Conor is an incredible bartender and a huge asset to the team. Great cocktails and service all night.

15/12/2025: Lovely spot but staff are rude but I do understand with Christmas. I enjoyed the food and pint. I will maybe come back in a few weeks

26/11/2025: It seems ok if you're Irish (smiles and chats over the bar). Turn up with an English accent and you're toast. Scowled at and ignored , no matter how friendly you try to be. A shame.

09/12/2025: Great Dublin Bar, mix of age groups but very popular local Dublin City pub. Staff are helpful, their toasties to die for. So if you want a Traditional Dublin Bar with a youthful vibe this is your place.

03/10/2025: This is honestly a very good establishment. Not speaking English, the owner of the salon read my daughter's messages on my phone so I could have my coffee. He is very helpful and kind. I recommend this establishment. Thank you for everything.

12/11/2025: Food was outstanding, as a vegan I was very pleasantly surprised by how good all the vegan options tasted. I had the paella, the aubergines, the cauliflower, the pasteis. All was amazing. Oh and dessert, they have vegan pastéis de nata, it was just perfect, nice and warm. 10/10.

28/10/2025: Nice place and service was acceptable but we weren’t impressed with food at all. Ordered 6 tapas items from the menu. Got 1 duck casserole style dish that was piping hot (but cold dish - microwave..?) and the other 5 weren’t even that warm. Not sure if we had an off night based on other reviews but food wasn’t good at all.

15/10/2025: Love this place. Fab fresh food everything. Staff are happy and helpful! Ideal for a swift healthy lunch.

17/09/2025: Hey can you make the taco chicken you used to do? Yes of course. And then oh we don’t do that ingredient anymore and feta cheese is an extra euro. Then don’t say you can do it anymore 🤷🏻‍♂️

18/11/2025: Next time, I'll write it down and hand it to the folks behind the desk - as I said more than once 'pizza wraps'. I asked for two pizza wraps, and was handed two pizzas... I knew the price seemed high - but everything these days is extra. Paying attention is a small ask in the grand scheme of things.

16/11/2025: I ordered a plant based pizza, they brought the wrong pizza which I physically can't eat and then refused to give me a refund. Pretty disappointing

28/11/2025: Hyped up by tiktok. just a very average ramen place with above average prices. For 17.50 you would think that you would not have to pay extra for spice but this is an additional charge and without the spice it is barely a 4/10.

27/11/2025: I’ve been coming here for years since it opened. One of the better places to get a Ramen in Dublin. They’ve definitely improved overtime. And adding new dishes is good to see. The kimchi Ramen is great.

30/11/2025: Very nice pub, reasonable prices and a good atmosphere. The music isn't too loud, which allows for conversation with friends. Very well located.

02/12/2025: Getting there via the dart train service is very easy. It is a very short walk from the Sandycove station to the restaurant. The building is old world charming, the staff members were very friendly and helpful. The menu had a great selection to choose from, the wine selection was also surprisingly nice. We enjoyed our meals and most of us selected the salmon - it was very nice. I did ask for mash instead of potato chips but when I saw the potato chips on someone else's plate I regretted the request! Their potato chips were very nicely cooked - crispy on the edges and soft inside. Just perfect. There is parking across the street but due to the one-way access road changes in Dun Laoghaire you can only access that if you are driving south from Dun Laoghaire - not driving up from for example Sandycove. I also have to mention that if you get the table next to the window you have a great ocean view and if the weather behaves, you can also get a clear view of Howth.

10/10/2025: The hotel is wonderful: classic, full of personality, very well maintained, and filled with thoughtful details. The conservatory takes you back in time, and it's great to have the option of having a light breakfast there. The garden is spectacular, despite not being the best time of year. The staff is very friendly. Everything is perfect.

28/11/2025: Tombik Chicken Doner I don't recommend it, but other dishes might be better. There are better kebabs in the area, but I don't know if it's the same with the service, because it was really good. The food was poor. The service was good.
