The best restaurants in Dublin

23/11/2025: Went over as a family and with friends as well, casual no fuss dining but full of flavours...our kids enjoyed it as well very much! We really enjoyed it and highly recommend it!

13/11/2025: Amazing food and great service! The nan and butter chicken were full of authentic flavor, and the naan was soft and fresh. The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Definitely one of the best spots for Indian food — can’t wait to go back.

02/11/2025: Unfortunately, the calda chocolate has drastically changed 😕 it is just as a regular hot chocolate for the price of a calda. Diluted as its best , will not return sadly as I used to really like the calda .

18/02/2025: Tuve una experiencia muy decepcionante. Mi pareja y yo habíamos reservado para una cena un sábado. Tuvimos un mal presentimiento cuando entramos y vimos cuántas mesas vacías había, especialmente teniendo en cuenta que era un fin de semana de rugby. Mientras que nuestro servidor brasileño era encantador, la comida era sosa y carecía de sabor y condimento. Dejamos la mayoría de nuestras comidas en el plato. El encantador servidor preguntó si todo estaba bien con la comida. Expresé que estaba muy decepcionado, considerando las excelentes críticas que habíamos leído en línea. El servidor nos informó que el chef envió sus disculpas desde la cocina. Nos persuadieron a quedarnos y tomar cafés y postre. El precio de los cafés se descontó de la factura. Pagamos nuestra factura, dimos propina a nuestro servidor encantador y nos fuimos. Basta decir que no volveremos. Hacia adelante, haré búsquedas más profundas de revisiones fuera de línea.

04/12/2025: Am done with here. Work locally, just waited 25 mins for a takeaway toasted sandwich. When I asked for a refund they realised they hadn’t put the order in. Staff too busy having the craic behind the counter. Got one thrown in a bag and handed to me. Burnt Oat milk latte pathetic- flat and half filled At €16.65 for the two it’s a complete rip off- too many other offerings in the area. Won’t be back. Ruined my lunch break and my appetite

13/11/2025: First visit and was absolutely delighted with the genuinely friendly service. Very relaxed atmosphere too. Food was great except the fish was quite bland, only complaint. Cocktails 🤪!! just to enjoyable, 😁 so again, really nice host and staff, best we've came across for quite a while, so would definitely recommend🍸🍹🍷🍺🥧

02/11/2025: Please update your menu online to reflect actual menu presented. All I was going to order having looked prior to going was not listed on the night I was there. Was very disappointed. What I had in the end was fine however.

06/01/2026: We visited The Port House recently again, we had been before some time ago and were looking forward to some lovely Spanish tapas, but unfortunately, several dishes fell short of expectations. The Croquetas de Jamón were decent but a bit on the greasy side. The Gambas al Pil Pil lacked flavour entirely—no garlic, chili, or sear—and we couldn't finish them. We mentioned this to our waitress, who kindly offered a replacement, but we declined to avoid food waste, and the dish was removed from the bill without issue. The Chorizo al Vino was okay (I finished most of it as I was hungry), and the Patatas Rotas were average but acceptable. However, the Chicken Paella was mushy with an off flavor (kinda fishy), and we barely touched it (this wasn't adjusted on the bill). We had a couple of nice cocktails: Atlantic Twist and Clover Club. Our glasses of wine were fine, and our server was genuinely friendly and attentive. The front-of-house host, though, came across as quite unwelcoming upon arrival. Overall, a disappointing meal compared to what we'd hoped for based on previous visits.. Service from the waitress was a highlight.

29/12/2025: Had brunch here today and really enjoyed it. I have coeliac disease so the staff took great care preparing my meal to minimise the potential of cross contamination, really nice cappuccino too. Would definitely recommend 👌

08/11/2025: Popped in here for brunch today and we were made so welcome from the moment we opened the door. Haven't been here in a year or so, as live too far away, but delighted they are still serving up the best brunch and as amazing as ever. Brought friends who were blown away by the quality of the food.Presentation and portions were 100% You can taste the fresh ingredients and the flavours are fabulous. Very happy to return and find it better than ever.

23/09/2025: I had my 60th upstairs ,venu is perfect,staff were very friendly and efficient,manager Martin was very easy to deal with,nothing was a problem,I'd highly recommend the Ceaders.Dee.

14/01/2026: Great pub with excellent food! The staff are friendly and the service is excellent. They have a large sélection of beers, a good selection of whiskeys and also serve wine. The food is excellent as well

07/01/2026: Fantastic choice of food - chorizo pasta, chicken burger and nachos are the winner! Super friendly staff & a great variety of cocktails with deals! The live music is a great touch.

05/11/2025: Sandwiches and coffees were good. All food and drink has to be ordered up at the till but plates etc aren't cleared when finished with. Cafe was a bit cold. Staff are friendly.

14/12/2025: Chips far too salty, to the point of dominating the taste and leaving me desperately thirsty. One piece of fish was dry, and more panko than fish. The other piece was fine.

Their service is good which was a surprise as the service in general in getting very poor around, but they have plenty of young guys all very friendly nice and quick. The timing for the food was actually short price was ok same as the portions it was right! They have lived music and the atmosphere gets very nice! Highly recomend the place
