The best restaurants in Dublin

28/09/2025: The food here is very good. We tried three dishes, and all three were excellent! Especially the one that was quite spicy! The service is also excellent!

26/09/2025: this is authentic szechuan food, they use great spice levels. super tasty and would return. the beef dumpling with crispy shallot and teriyaki was awesome. loved the crispy chili chicken too (a favorite we order in NY too). and the spice bag was a delight (yes I know it is not authentic but had to try it)

09/12/2025: Perhaps the best Italian restaurant I have been to outside of Italy! Was absolutely blown away by the quality of the food and wine, and amazing, attentive service. The prosciutto and burrata was perfect, and the risotto was one of the best, creamiest risottos I have ever had. Will 100% return on my next trip to Dublin!

19/05/2026: The place is definitely interesting and full of atmosphere. The bar itself is located in a corner building, which honestly feels like the perfect location for Temple Bar. You can immediately tell it’s made for tourists, lovers of Irish music, and anyone looking for that loud Dublin pub experience. At first, though, we couldn’t even find the main entrance and accidentally entered from another side. Our first impression was actually a bit strange — the place looked a little sketchy, and we weren’t even sure we were in the right spot. But once we got inside, there was live music, lots of people, laughter, noise, and suddenly that real Irish atmosphere hit us. It actually felt great to be there. We had booked a table through the Early Table App and were looking for the restaurant area upstairs. When we went up, it became obvious that the building is very old — everything felt worn, shaky, and a bit tired. There weren’t many people there, maybe one large table and a couple of smaller ones. The waitress herself was lovely. She explained the menu, gave recommendations, and was genuinely friendly, so no complaints about her personally. But overall, the service was quite slow. We sat for a long time without menus or cutlery, and eventually I even sent my child to get the menus herself. The food arrived in reasonable time, but almost everything was extremely salty. Especially the steak — it wasn’t really the kind of steak you would expect, and there was so much salt that even beer couldn’t balance it out. At the same time, some dishes were genuinely tasty: the wings were really good, and the burger was surprisingly nice too. The mussels were tiny though — honestly, I’d probably change suppliers if I were them. The presentation was very basic, without much attention to detail: lots of potatoes, barely any vegetables, very small plates, and the child’s portion looked especially odd. Everything felt rushed and made for tourists rather than for people who truly appreciate food. So yes, the place is famous, historic, and full of character. It’s definitely worth visiting once to experience the Temple Bar vibe. But personally, I probably wouldn’t come back a second time.

18/05/2026: We went to this place for an after-dinner drink and were drawn in by the live music that could be heard even in Crown Alley. This young couple, playing and singing, got the whole place dancing, full of young people eager to have fun. I can't comment on the food because we didn't eat, but we did have a beer. It's definitely a great place to meet up and have fun.

05/06/2026: Wonderful! We went to celebrate our anniversary and the food was delicious. I'd like to mention that all the staff were so kind and attentive, especially Eliana who spent the whole evening looking after us. Thank you so much, guys, you're the best! ♥️♥️

29/07/2025: My friend and I went there on a Saturday evening without reservations and the whole place was booked, but we managed to have our pints at the bar and the staff were super friendly about it. The interior of the place is so cool!

05/10/2025: This is a gem of a place, little tricky to get to, but worth it . Attentive friendly staff, well presented and tasty food along with a lovely atmosphere . The pancakes are amazing and they have a great deal on toasties . We will visit again!

22/12/2025: The food here ranges from good to outstanding, depending on the night, with the black dal probably the highlight. Unfortunately they've had some serious misses lately, especially the lamb jalfrezi that was unpalatably sweet, as if someone had added a ton of sugar or jaggery. The aloo tikki also tasted as if it had been cooked and left sitting for a while. There's no reason to adulterate food for the Irish palate. Stick with what's been successful at Pickle and previously here.

15/12/2025: The food is good.. loved chicken 65. Butter chicken biryani was good, but I wouldn’t want my biryani to be sweet, but because it was butter chicken, I can understand. The food was on the sweeter side. Prices are quite high.

18/05/2026: Disappointed. Ordered the buffalo burger and it was horrid. The sauce was tasteless and the burger itself tasted like a last min overnight snack u compose together with frozen chicken and cheap bun. The wings I ordered were extremely hard to chew and DRY. I expected much more from the name of the restaurant. I had way more better burgers and wings in cheaper restaurants. Do NOT bother going!

16/05/2026: Really tasty chicken. The chicken tenders in the buffalo sauce have a great crunch and the chicken is so fresh. The rotisserie chicken is so juicy and flavourful. Staff are lovely too. Definitely recommend!

21/05/2026: The beautiful young ladies behind the bar served scrumptious wings to the lads and I. Vibes here were high, and I truly recommend it to all patrons in the area! I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

15/05/2026: The back area was extremely dirty and messy. The table and floor were not clean. I politely asked the lady at the counter if she could wipe the table as it was very dirty, but she responded with attitude and even kicked my bag which was on the floor without apologising. If you cannot be friendly, why work in customer service? Her behaviour was rude and ill-mannered and it completely ruined our experience. However, the blonde girl who joined later was very sweet and lovely, so I do appreciate her kindness at the end.

12/05/2026: Overall, the place did not leave any special impression on me. The breakfast was quite ordinary, nothing special, and the staff were not very friendly. The food and service were average, so I’m unlikely to come back here again.

25/05/2026: We stayed at the Morrison on two separate weekends and ate at the Grill once, as well as getting coffee/tea from the bar every morning we were there. The food was good (particularly the soup), but the highlight for us was the service. The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and attentive. It was also very convenient given that we were staying in the hotel.

25/05/2026: Lovely restaurant with delicious food and a friendly waitress. However, there was a slight delay both when our order was taken and when we received the bill. Payment was processed quickly, but I wasn’t impressed that a service charge had been added without this being mentioned beforehand, which felt a little crafty, especially given that the food was already quite pricey. Overall, the food was excellent, but the service and lack of transparency regarding the service charge detracted somewhat from the experience.

01/12/2025: A lovely, cosy wine bar with amazing food and service! We had a great night here as a large group - Michael and all the staff were so friendly and attentive. Would recommend the meatballs & aubergine parmigiana!
