The best restaurants in Dublin

24/07/2026: I've been coming here since it was Sichuan House (maybe 2005). The food is amazing. Make sure you order something genuinely Chinese. I see reviews here complaining about bland prawn tempura. What are you doing ordering tempura (delicate Japanese dish) in a Sichuan restaurant?! They only have it on the menu for people who don't know any better. Go for the Chongqing chicken or fish in pickled cabbage soup (no one will ever call that bland and it's not even particularly spicy).

20/07/2026: Ordered the following for a pick up: - Shredded Chicken with Salt & Chili - Wonton Noodle Soup - Pickled Cucumber Salad The place must have changed the name recently, because they come up as "the Noodle House Co" on Uber Eats. Our favorite was the shredded chicken with salt & chili. Chicken perfectly fried and seasoned, we ended up getting it again few days later. Skip the wonton noodle soup and the pickled cucumber salad. The wonton noodle soup was not what I expected and the taste was just ok. The pickled cucumber was very bland. It definitely needed more seasoning. Rice does not come with your orders. You'll need to order them separately.

11/06/2026: Came here twice in a row on my two day trip as I enjoyed it so much. I’m from New Zealand and thoroughly impressed with the cafe/ food scene in Ireland so far - quality! Far better than anywhere around the UK. This cafe is no exception absolutely delicious, wholesome food & coffee/ matcha + lovely staff and fast service. Highly recommend ✨

03/07/2026: Every staff member is this fine establishment are amazing. So sound , funny and attentive. It’s great to have a local pub that is so good. Also music is always Tops. If I could give 10stars I would !!

30/06/2026: We had dinner here last Thursday evening during the heatwave. I have eaten here before but I did not realise that they had air-conditioning. It was fantastic. I will be back for the food.

13/07/2026: 🌊 Beautiful beach with stunning views 🪁 Perfect for kitesurfing and windsurfing 🏄 Great spot for skimboarding when conditions are right 🚗 Parking: €4 per car until 9:00 pm (after that, vehicle release costs €120) ⏰ Tip: Arrive early, as the car park fills up quickly. 🚻 Public toilets available by the car park ☕ Nice café on-site for coffee and ice cream

13/07/2026: This is the worst apartment I ever rented. Minimal equipment not even Kitchen towels or salt provided. One wine glass!

02/08/2026: Visited on Saturday evening,lovely food and friendly staff,had the Chicken and Mushroom pie with chunky chips and veg all perfectly lovely

11/07/2026: The Sunday roast ham was a highlight 🍖, really juicy and tender. Service was okay, the ladies at the bar were helpful. The atmosphere is always great, especially near the makeshift fireplace 🔥. My main issue is the terrace... It is never open when I visit which is a shame because it would be perfect for those of us with dogs 🐾

02/07/2026: Great place to enjoy with a good company. It's usually quite busy. The cell phone signal is very poor inside the Pub.

05/07/2026: Tapas style plates - the cod, lamb, and sharing platters are all very tasty. Octopus could have had a better flavour. The star of the meal was definitely the spicy margarita’s - delicious and highly recommend!

04/07/2026: Rather disappointed, the actual restaurant looked amazing but we were taken through to what looked like a parking lot to sit. Food was very overpriced and only ok. The service was poor with a manager who was rude and abrasive. Would not go back or recommend

07/08/2026: Had lots of tables for a booking on open table but got refused at the bar for a table of three and told that they were fully booked, a table of 12 had some friends that didn’t turn up and said we could join the manager Liam then came over very rudely and asked us to leave, the table of 12 left as they were disgusted with the attitude of the staff we then got blamed for them losing custom, this pub has long lost its popularity and the staff are very rude, avoid at all costs if you are visiting Dublin

19/07/2026: Very disappointing experience. We had been having drinks and wanted to order dinner at 8:54 PM. We were told the kitchen closed at 9:00 PM, but even though it wasn’t 9:00 yet, the staff said they didn’t care and that the kitchen was already closed because it was Sunday. To make matters worse, they changed another customer’s order right in front of us but refused to take ours. Both the bar and floor staff showed zero customer service and were rude and dismissive throughout. I would not recommend this place. Poor service, unprofessional staff, and a very disappointing experience.

07/07/2026: Great selection of drafts and cocktails. Friendly atmosphere the chicken wings buffalo sauce was salty. With a blue cheese dip watered down runny dip.

15/07/2026: Wonderful place! Full of Moroccan vibes, I really liked the design. Food-wise, it’s soo good! I took harira and lamb tajine, and finished with Moroccan tea. Full and satisfied! Most importantly it is halal, which is great!
