05/11/2025: Sandwiches and coffees were good. All food and drink has to be ordered up at the till but plates etc aren't cleared when finished with. Cafe was a bit cold. Staff are friendly.

13/03/2026: Delicious and filling breakfast. Meals were really tasty. Staff very friendly. We went to breakfast before 9am so it was very quiet inside. Only a couple min walk from our hotel. The dirty chai was so yummy! With a slight raspberry sugar dusting. The poached egg ordered with the sabiche wasn't needed since the meal itself was so filling. Egg was a little firm too but still good.

30/03/2026: Great takeaway from Hillbilly’s Family Restaurant—food was hot, fresh, and really tasty. Chicken was crispy and portions were generous. Quick service too. Will definitely order again 👍

05/03/2026: ITS GAME OVER FOR THE HILLBILLYS. TOTAL PROFITEERING. COST OF THE VARIETY BUCKET HAS INCREASED OVER 40% IN THE LAST 3 YEARS. €22!! I ONLY WANT TO BUY SOME CHICKEN ,NOT A SHARE IN THE COMPANY.SOMEONES IS LIKING THE FLOUR WAY TOO MUCH!! THIS IS NOT REPRESENTATIVE OF INCREASE IN OPERATION COSTS. A STEP TOO FAR CAN BE DETRIMENTAL TO A BUSINESS. WE SEE IT IN THE CURRENT CLIMATE WITH THE LIKES OF TGI'S, LITTLE CESARS ETC CLOSING DUE TO PRICE GOUGING. SUCCESS DOES NOT MEAN TAKING ADVANTAGE IF YOUR CLIENT BASE. SHAME ON YOU.UPON TALKING TO STAFF THERE HAS BEEN NO INCREASE IN REMUNERATION. And the usual lip service that will always follow a honest review. If I wanted to listen to excuses I would rather listen to my kids!!

18/08/2025: Amazing!!! We were here three evenings ensuite. And the best was the singer today (name??) Thanx for the Guinness. Espacially the two ladies behind the bar!! Incredible!! How fast they work and at the same time so relaxed, even singing and dancing during pressing the beer. Sorry for my horrible english- greetings from Ilka and Peter from Berlin/Germany

15/08/2025: 1 of the best places in Dublin City to enjoy not just the fantastic Creamy Guinness along with other drinks. But Carla and staff go really beyond what is expected. Local people are extremely friendly and helpful. I'd highly recommend this place as since in Dublin it's very difficult to find a better place.

04/05/2026: The full Irish breakfast was lovely with a fair quantity/price ratio in my opinion. The bartender was really patient, I recommend this place

03/05/2026: Extremely busy just down the street from Trinity college in the main area of entertainment. It is self-service you have to walk up to the bar and get your food and grab your table. As busy as it was we were able to move around and find a great table to eat at. We were looking for elsewhere to go eat and just happened to go in there for a pint and end up staying as the food was just outstanding really enjoyed this pub

30/12/2025: Visited Indian tiffin seeing the reviews... Expectations not met. Found the food average compared to the high prices. Idli set was worth the price. Didn't feel the authentic texture and fluffiness of bature, probably the wrong dough was used for the bature. The veg thali was average.

25/12/2025: We ordered a Lamb byriany and a butter chicken The food was so fresh and tasty 10 out of 10 absolute recommend literally the best Indian Restaurant I have ever been to my life

01/12/2025: A lovely, cosy wine bar with amazing food and service! We had a great night here as a large group - Michael and all the staff were so friendly and attentive. Would recommend the meatballs & aubergine parmigiana!
