The best restaurants in Dublin

14/12/2024: I visited twice for breakfast and tried to book seats over the phone but they said no reservations and only walk-ins. The first time..there were empty seats, but once we sat down they told us it was reserved. I was with my 3 year old daughter and we couldn’t get seats. The staff was rude, and I don’t understand how the seats were reserved if it's only walk-ins

11/12/2024: Nice place to get affordable buffet. Don’t except too much options but the food is tasty on all the time we visited.

22/12/2024: Embassy grill .the perfect chippy. The food is a solid 10/10 and the staff are brilliant to deal with. Best chippy in town

19/12/2024: Got myself a fish&chip after doing my business in the embassy. Was a bit shocked to see the triple of what I thought Id see on the plate&food was excellent too.

05/01/2025: Having been here before a few times & had an excellent experience, we were very disappointed. Very poor service, coffee & hot chocolate cool, even though we asked for extra hot. Crepe suzette served with very little sauce...a slice of lemon & orange on top. All in all unlikely to recommend or return to Voici. A pity.

06/12/2024: Lovely local coffee shop, real gem in the area. The two ladies are always so welcoming and pleasant and they can produce excellent coffee very quickly. Cakes look great although I haven't tried them (yet!) Cafe is always clean and tidy and has a decent number of tables.

08/12/2024: La gestión y el portero aquí son una absoluta desgracia. Mi amigo y yo estábamos sentados en una mesa tomando una copa y de repente nos dijeron que la mesa estaba reservada para una fiesta en este momento, nos dieron poco o ningún tiempo para movernos. El portero se acercó y me quitó el cóctel de la mano y me manipuló pidiéndome que me fuera, esto fue reforzado aún más por la participación del gerente general Paul Williams, afirmando que llamaría a la garda. Entonces me negué a irme, como cuestión de principio y sobre la base de este maltrato. Le pregunté por qué motivos tenemos que irnos, no estábamos borrachos desordenadamente ni haciendo nada malo, esto no parecía justificar una respuesta adecuada. La manera en que se me acercó y me pidió que me fuera fue terrible, así como la vergüenza y el malestar que causó. Una cosa es hablar con alguien en un tono agradable y sugerir que te consigamos una nueva mesa en otro lugar del bar o disculparnos por tener que apurarnos, pero en realidad echarnos fue completamente innecesario e injustificado. Trabajar en el sector de la hospitalidad es algo así como ser un hospicio y tener ciertas habilidades para las personas. El portero y gerente general en 37 Dawson Street ciertamente no exhibe estas habilidades interpersonales básicas y en su lugar buscan intimidar y acosar a las clientas jóvenes. Al final mi amiga se fue por su cuenta y cedió a la táctica del matón y fui escoltada fuera de las instalaciones por la garda por mi desafío al irme.

03/12/2024: Perfect for stopping off and taking a break during your hiking trip in Howth. Typical Irish pub setting where you can choose between fish and chips, burger or even mussels with the famous Irish "soda bread" (and beer of course). It's not a Michelin-starred restaurant but you feel good there and the price-quality ratio is interesting.

11/12/2024: Proof that businesses can buy good reviews, I was misled. The waiter, who not only was rude but honestly came across stoned because he not attended once without being quite initiative, didn’t offer any solution or gave out any form of excuse. He just pointed to the good reviews online and I answered that’s why we only came and added even that we won’t give a good one for sure. Not even this notion triggered empathy in the waiter. Retrospectively, as mentioned, this place is proof that the reviews are bought. He suggested to pay only one dish, after we mentioned that we don’t want to pay for this disgraceful experience. As we just wanted to leave as soon as possible, we paid for the one dish and decided to just never come back again and warn others. How is Local Public Health Department in Dublin not shutting down such places? Please don’t go even drunk there, your putting your own health in danger.

16/08/2024: Love this gym so much. Joined it last Xmas after leaving my old one. Everyone is lovely and helpful if you are lost in any way. Prices are good for the quality. And there are lots of machines and resources. It’s also a popular and social place to work out, and there is always lots of people there. Quietest times tend to be around lunch time.

13/08/2024: Best gym in ireland is right! Great atmosphere, equipment, facilities and staff. Prices are also extremely reasonable there is a hair salon, cafe, tanning salon and even a recovery room in the gym. I cant recommend it enough don't waste your time in another gym.

18/11/2024: Like a lot of the reviews say, the staff are cold and unfriendly. The coffee was otherwise okay.

01/11/2024: Great food, even if pricy. One thing though - please add salt and pepper sachets. I get the whole green thing, but the grinders are completely useless for takeaway orders.

27/11/2024: Chinese-style Western bakeries. Maybe try those buns with fillings. Ask the staff for what's inside/allergens.

26/11/2024: Was it cold while I was waiting for my food, yes it was, was it worth it, hell yes. Would I do it again, I certainly would, food was lovely, staff were lovely. I got the bacon cheese burger was delivered, so was the bacon cheese chips. I'll be back

17/11/2024: Travelled 40 minutes to get to you only to find your advertised hours were wrong. You were closed before 7:30pm on a Sunday. Please update your hours.

10/12/2024: The food is small, but the price is acceptable because it's excellent quality. I was absolutely loving it. There was no charge for water.

08/12/2024: Nice food, good service, a little cold but overall nice experience, service charge was a bit much in my opinion. Pint prices quite expensive, not a place you would get very full, expect to spend close to 40 per person.

02/12/2024: Best place in the area if you are looking for food in the evening. Best to get your order in before 8.45pm. Staff are friendly and helpful.
