23/07/2025: Salmon was rotten, couldn't eat more than two bites, felt sick afterwards. The greasy sweaty men in the kitchen don't use gloves or hairnets and handle the food directly without gloves. Disgusting place with no hygiene standards, avoid

14/07/2025: I just had a takeaway chicken curry. Very very disappointing. The chicken was just awful. Fatty. How can chicken be fatty? M&L, your prices are not cheap. You should be using top ingredients, not taking us for fools. Edit added 14/7/25: I emailed the restaurant stating my displeasure at the quality of the food. I got a prompt response expressing their regret for my experience and offering me my money back. Good to know that they take complaints seriously.

10/07/2025: I have been going to woolshed for almost 2 years now, i always had a good time. But the during the game between Chelsea vs Fluminense i was hit by a fluminense guy just because they were losing. I did call the security after that but instead doing anything to him, security guard took me outside instead doing anything to that guy. The guy again hit me in front of the guard also. I would say woolshed is not a safe place during any brazilian games and security guards also dont do anything. I wouldn’t recommend anyone going there.

02/07/2025: I went to see the Monaco GP. I loved the atmosphere. I ordered a burger with sweet potato chips, and both were delicious. I really enjoyed watching F1 and would definitely go back. The service may have seemed a little shaky, but honestly, the place was very busy. The rest of the experience made up for it (I arrived early and took the photo).

17/07/2025: The katsu curry here is fantastic — crispy and very flavorful. We’ve come back multiple times just to have it again. The miso soup is also spot on – very savory and super comforting. And, the atmosphere is also excellent – very hidden Japanese dive bar vibes, though it can get pretty noisy in the upstairs seating. On a side note, the tonkatsu ramen didn't quite hit the mark for me – the noodles were bland and tasted floury, and the tonkotsu broth lacked a bit in flavor. Not bad, just not worth repeating. I 100% recommend going, but stick with the katsu.

07/07/2025: We’ve been here a few times now and like the layout of the restaurant - it is large, inviting and non trend. The food is usually good also and certainly better than the unnecessarily hyped up Pickle Restaurant. Service can be hit and miss depending on how busy it is and one one occasion we were left waiting for an hour after our main course, however the other three times we were there - all ran smoothly. Defo recommend it.

21/06/2025: Waiter that served us was horrible, short fella with beard. I asked the woman at the desk could we kindly move to the sofa she said yes so i moved, this waiter comes over DID YOU ASK TO MOVE really agressive, apologised for his rudeness later on yet left with 20 euro after i asked for the change back and i had to go to the desk to receive it.

29/06/2025: Lovely staff. Very friendly. Food was great. I had a meaty pizza and herself had the meatballs. Flavour was excellent all round. Price point was also very reasonable including drinks. We will be back. Thank you.

20/06/2025: Slow service and not authentic italian. We asked for a rare rib high stesk and it came cooked. We ordered scallops and they were delicious, chilli prawns which were terrible in a tomato sauce not well cooked. The fry gamberi and prawns had a nice fty but were not tasteless and the sauce was not nice. We asked for a second glasd of wine which arrived whrn we had already finished our dinner. Oversll, it looks far away ftom the experience we were having in this place till only few years ago, when we were coming here often with the kids and we all enjoyed any food we were ordering.

22/06/2025: I enjoyed a veggie dinner, delicious Thai kitchen. It was a comfortable moment on my own in a cozy and chilly place. All people looked relaxed, there was an intimate atmosphere. The staff was super kind and they advise the right portion to me. Thanks for a nice moment!

28/07/2025: We did not have any food, just coffee, so I will go straight to the point: BEST coffee in Dublin, as simple as that! And it does help that the people working at the Driftwood Coffee Co. are really professional, nice and friendly.

01/07/2025: My wife loves Aldi! We go there alot, this one is in Ireland and even has a liquor section. Of course we bought a few things!

05/08/2025: Placed an order for collection, received the wrong order. When I emailed to follow up & ask for a refund, no response or contact at all. No phone number or any other way of contacting them only through their "get in touch" form on their website which they are not responding too. Very disappointing all round Update: I emailed again following the below response to this review, I have still not received any response directly (it's been nearly 4 weeks)

28/07/2025: good not great, based exclusively on the rooms. they're fine but after 2 weeks around france and ireland this was our least favorite stay. the staff were great, the location is as close as you can get to being in the heart of everything, but the rooms felt smaller than pictured and felt like the most american chain hotel we came across. they were very accommodating and split a king bed into two twins so we could keep our terrace room but the view was just of another building. i think this place would be great for families or larger parties, but if you're looking for a more boutique experience, for the price, i would look elsewhere. 4/5.

24/07/2025: Stayed here for 4 nights in July 2025, prior to which we stayed at the Intercon and the Morgan. Of the 3, Grafton had the best quality breakfast. Enjoyed the scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, honeycomb, mixed fruit and made-to-order iced mocha amongst others. Selection could be wider but that's a gripe we had across all 3 hotels, so perhaps it's a Dublin thing. We also enjoyed a Cheeky Tiki at the beautiful bar counter. The in-room Malin-Goetz toiletries were also a nice touch and the water pressure was great. Last but not least, we felt very taken care of by a Mr Noel R., a kindly gentleman who got our 4 very large suitcases to our room. At the end of our stay, he happened to be on our floor and helped us bring them all straight to the front door. We felt very welcome here and would certainly stay again.

20/07/2025: Very good stay, super well located but noisy if your room overlooks Dame Street (despite very good soundproofing). Excellent breakfast, very welcoming staff, and excellent bedding. Just a stone's throw from the famous Temple Bar pub. Be careful, the noise level of the hotel's pub-restaurant in the evening is simply unbearable 😀

26/07/2025: Incredible atmosphere and VERY VERY kind staff. We truly felt at home. They make the best pastries we've ever tried in Dublin, and we really enjoyed their coffee and black tea❤️.
