The best restaurants in Dublin

14/09/2026: We were very happy with our meal here. Everyone enjoyed their food from grandmother down to toddler. The wine waa gorgeous. Staff are lovely and attentive. One of our party is on a restricted diet after a hospital visit and they were happy to accommodate. We will be back.

13/09/2026: Dined here on Friday 11th.September. Table of 4 adults. 2 different starters, 4 different mains , 1 desert and 2 coffee. Everyone agreed the food was of a very high standard. The staff were professional,polite,attentive and extremely friendly. Our table was a little tight being in the middle of the floor, with constant customers/staff squeezing by. This may have been due to the fact they had live music on and needed space for the performer. If not, may need to look at seating arrangement. Everyone agreed the price for the food and drinks was great value. Would we come again/recommend the bar/restaurant, most definitely yes. A very good night had by all

05/09/2026: I got a late start for dinner, and must’ve been meant to be because I wandered into this lovely Indian restaurant. Very class aesthetic, the food was phenomenal. I got the lamb tikka masala. And I appreciated the twist on the traditional Tika Masala. This one was slightly sweeter. The relish and orange sauce that got brought out with the naan were also uniquely delicious. The owner of the restarant was super personable and kind. The service was quick and despite me showing up later in the evening, they accommodated my food order swiftly and well. Definitely check this place out. Visiting from the US.

25/08/2026: A little gem in Dublin when you're looking for a bit of variety in a quiet, peaceful setting. Incredible flavors and perfectly prepared food. Highly recommended.

14/07/2026: Call away to get the food ready for business gathering. Amazing food, staff amazing and minimum to no waiting. Would recommend.

08/07/2026: I’ve been here two weeks ago because I was passing through Oscar Traynor Road: the food was amazing and so was the service, the waitresses were very kind and the environment was not bad. One thing that I noticed and that I insist on saying, is that the owner seemed upset all the time and never even smiled. I suggest paying more attention to customer contact in order to create a better environment.

29/07/2026: Great coffee, kind staff and very handy as it’s one of the only drive thru coffee shops in the area.

26/03/2026: Good coffee place and really handy on the way to work but so hit and miss when they are there, please update your opening hour and days!!!

26/08/2026: Exceptional coffee. Unmatched selection of specialty coffees, prepared perfectly. Pastries are amazing and varied. Staff super friendly. Atmosphere is very laid back and relaxing.

18/08/2026: I visited today as an international traveller because I’d heard great things about this place. Unfortunately, my Visa wouldn’t work with their payment system and they don’t accept cash. I completely understand the policy. What disappointed me was the attitude. I politely asked whether a manager or another staff member could suggest an alternative — I was even happy to pay cash without needing change — but the answer was simply “no”, without any attempt to help. Payment issues happen when travelling. A little flexibility and hospitality would have made a huge difference. I came with high expectations and left very disappointed. —————————————————— Thank you for your reply, but I don’t think you have understood my point. I fully understand that you are a cashless business. My point is that unexpected situations happen. I had a Visa card, but for whatever reason, it simply did not work with your machine at that moment. The only payment method I had available was cash. This is where hospitality matters. A manager is there not only for normal operations, but also to help deal with exceptional situations and find reasonable solutions. Instead, I was simply told “no”, with no attempt to ask a manager or explore another option. I have travelled to more than 40 countries and cities and have experienced similar card problems in Dublin, London, Paris and elsewhere. Other cafés have found simple solutions — often a manager helped with the payment and accepted my cash without giving change. The café made the sale, and I left happy. I am not asking you to abandon your cashless policy. I am asking whether, as a hospitality business, you could consider having a solution for the occasional customer whose card unexpectedly fails and who only has cash, rather than simply turning them away. Rules are necessary, but hospitality is also about how you respond when something falls outside the rules. That is the point I hoped you would understand.

24/08/2026: This is a nice decent spot with good value for money bar food. We are regular diners here and the food although not stellar is pretty good and not too badly priced. very family friendly with a nice relaxed atmosphere and friendly quick service. We've had visitors from abroad and they loved this place so much that after having a lunch there they came back themselves for a few pints of an evening....so well done the Carpo- a hit with locals and tourists alike :)

21/08/2026: Ordered chic bit loaded fries, very delicious, chicken was crispy and crunchy, cheese in every bite, highly recommended for cheese lovers❤️

04/09/2026: The food was really poor. Portions for a children restaurant. Never ever coming back. We were with 7 persons, paying a fortune and still hungry.

03/09/2026: Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place. I had to pay an additional 5% because I paid with an Amex card. This wasn't stated on the card.
