11/11/2025: A pleasant place with excellent coffee.

04/11/2025: A lot of these scattered over Dublin, hot chocolate was okay, but I have had better ones from independent coffee shops. Still, the chocolates for sale were lovely!

28/10/2025: Great coffee, treats for the dogs, boycott friendly with Palestine Cola for sale. Absolutely delighted with this little gem

07/04/2026: Fun fact: once owned by Bono. Excellent location for everything, sights, tours, Guinness, shopping, etc. Can be noisy because it's located in Temple Bar district.

18/03/2026: Visited, 13 of us, 2013, was terrific. The Clarence location allowed us to walk to all of Dublin's sights. No cars on bridge over River Liffey out photo point. Less chaotic and more minstrels , jigs, on cobblestone streets -The Porterhouse, the best part of Temple Bar.

25/04/2026: Very rude waitresses. I went with 2 friends and one of us didn't want to eat anything just a coffee because the only vegan option was not interesting for her and they said that we all needed to eat a main course even though we were sitting outside and all the tables were empty

19/04/2026: Best place to spend a sunny day in Dalkey. All the staff are so friendly and lovely. We had a fab waiter - Logan . Fantastic fella, had us getting the specials, and some delicious elderflower drink. Food and drink 10/10

21/11/2025: Read about the place yesterday in an article saying it’s the spot for proper Christmas sandwiches, so I legged it over before closing to grab a takeaway. Fair play, the hype is real. The Christmas special was unreal, packed full of flavour, and the drink I grabbed was surprisingly good too. Service was rapid even with the queue, and the lads behind the counter were sound. Grand spot if you’re after a hearty feed without the fuss.

29/08/2025: We came here for some dinner on Thursday night. The girl at the front was very welcoming and gave us some menus while we waited (we were early). On the drinks menu it had their cocktails and then said underneath “Classics (just ask)” so I asked for a couple of different classics and they told me I could only order what’s on the menu 🤨 so I ended up just getting a soft drink. we ordered some food which was good, the corn ribs is a cool concept and the chicken tasted really good but the constant fruit flys in your face was really off putting and my partner ended up leaving his beer as there was flys in it. The staff were nice but no one checked on us once after we got our food and when we tried to get someone’s attention to ask for napkins as our food was messy they just walked past us. It was also a pretty cold day but they had the big door open for some reason so had to sit with my jacket on the entire time. Overall the venue is very aesthetic but the food and service was mid.

29/08/2025: We did have a good time but weren’t too impressed with the food to be honest. We ordered several dishes for the table and really enjoyed the chicken in soy garlic sauce and can also recommend the corn. However, the slow cooked short rib for 37 Euro was a disappointment and definitely overpriced. We are not rushing back although staff was super friendly and we enjoyed the vibe.

21/04/2026: Didnt have a great experience at all! Went in to get Bacon & Cheese fries for takeout. I told the lady my order and she told me to wait a sec. I waited for 15 minutes and nothing. I try to get her attention to remind her but she just walks past me completely ignoring me, walking towards new customers .( there was only one person when I walked in) I waited another 15 minutes just for me to see her serve the customers that walked in after me. I really think this is unfair and unprofessional coming from the staff here!!!

23/03/2026: Great pub to stop in, with a good atmosphere and a comfortable room. Having a drinks menu would be a nice addition, as there are already quite a lot of choices and options.

10/06/2026: Hamid And Ahmed did a superb job. They are the best. Food was amazing. Portion was too good and quality taste mind blowing. Best place in whole Dublin. Everyone should come and enjoy the best meal on very very reasonable affordable price. Loved it. There is another place with the same name but express. They are not same people. So be mindful to going at right place

She guided us every step of the way, making what could have been a stressful experience feel easy and enjoyable. Her communication was always prompt, clear, and reassuring, and nothing was ever too much trouble. The venue itself is stunning, elegant, and full of character, and our guests are still talking about how beautiful it was and how amazing the food and service were. 08/01/2026: I recently photographed a gorgeous wedding at The Stephen’s Green Club and I couldn’t have loved the experience more. The venue is elegant and full of character, right in the heart of the city, with beautiful rooms that photograph so well throughout the day. The staff are truly exceptional. I absolutely LOVE working with them. They were welcoming, attentive, calm and incredibly well organised, making the whole day feel effortless. Their care for the couple and for everyone involved really stood out and created such a relaxed, happy atmosphere.
