11/10/2025: I ordered from Fingal Café about a year ago and ended up bringing every single item back. The food was vile — ghostly, anaemic chips that looked like they’d seen a microwave more than a fryer. I swore I’d never go near the place again.
Fast forward to today and my partner, bless him, comes home with a surprise chipper. I took one bite of the garlic cheese chips and instantly knew that history was repeating itself. Dry, dusty, and somehow both soggy and stale? A true culinary mystery.
It’s impressive, after a full year later and they’ve managed to maintain the same level of disappointment. Never again
02/08/2025: Ordered 50 quid worth of food in drynam last night..got un edible rock hard batter with no fish in the smoke cod..batter sausage would break your teeth..the kebab made us laugh..very disappointed..was always my favourite..not no more avoid it's going on a bad road of greed and ripping of the customers..

05/10/2025: It’s a Chinese food shop with a buffet-style counter at the front. You can make your own box from the food selection:
• Box A (€10): 3 items
• Box B (€12): 4 items
• Box C (€18): 5–10 items
Drinks are separate (no meal deal).
When you go in, pay first at the till — just say which box you want and if you’d like a drink. After paying, a staff member will make your box and you just tell them what food you want.
If you don’t like what’s in the front, there’s also a kitchen menu where food is cooked fresh and you can ask to make it vegetarian, vegan, halal, or gluten-free.
The chicken is halal, but fried items are cooked in the same oil as pork ribs. There’s no dairy in the food.
There are limited vegan, vegetarian, and halal options from the front buffet, so if you have dietary needs it’s best to order from the kitchen menu instead, where they can modify things more easily.
Staff are friendly and helpful. They take cash and card, and the portions are pretty big for the price. It can get busy around lunchtime, so try to go a bit earlier if you can.
23/08/2025: Got lunch there today and it was lovely. However, one of girls working there was so rude, I was actually flabbergasted at how she spoke to me, she told the girl who was serving up my food that I jumped the queue (which I didn't) I corrected her and explained that I was waiting for my food and didn't jump it. She got so angry, I told her there was absolutely no need to be rude but she continued with her rant. I've never in my entire life had anyone in retail/food speak to me like she did. She needs to reconsider her career choice in my opinion. Regardless of that, the food was really fresh and tasty.

14/06/2025: Nice place to get McDonalds. Although McDonalds is very average imo the Filet o Fish is probably the best burger I’ve tasted from them. It’s just so wrong that the portion is THAT small

16/08/2025: I was surprised by the reviews, the food isn't the worst about this place, but let's not talk about Service. Staff completely overwhelmed with 5 orders. Whole Ordering System crashing down (I feel so sorry for the staff. This place isn't run professionally), orders getting lost, having to shut down the whole restaurant. And please do not expect "fast" food. A burger and fries took more than 30 minutes.

21/07/2025: Este lugar es terrible para los niños. mi hija fue al baño aquí no fue muy agradable una trabajadora se apresuró por su amiga y comenzó a golpear la puerta ya que era clientes solamente pero no había ningún cartel que lo dijera. trató de abrir la puerta a un niño. y luego procedió a prohibirle
03/07/2025: Esta es la MEJOR comida de Dublín, comida increíble y la mejor hospitalidad, súper amables. ¡Es casero y está condimentado a la perfección! Realmente te recomiendo que vayas allí.

01/06/2025: We were eating our food and we found a hair in our tenders and the cutlery weren't even washed but the food was quite good. But I left disappointed.
10/02/2025: Food was fine, hot, tasty, fresh.
When you are asked to wait until you are seated...a " Hello" would be good... but the guy seemed busy and pointed to the table, dropped the menu and got back to his JUST EAT orders.
The inside wasn't busy .. but takeaway was flying. Good for them! But when a client is actually there... wouldn't it be good if we took priority? After all, they were not sacrificing a % of my bill to Just Eat.
The burger was excellent... combo fries ok.. and coke was fizzy.. not always a guarantee these days.
Toilets were clean but hot taps had no hot water, hand dryer didn't work so .. after food you eat with your hands.. my hands were difficult to clean. Paper towels were provided but the dispenser was broken. Come in lads.. if that's what a client can see.. what's it like behind the scenes!
The FOH guy was very friendly when not bombarded with phone calls and takeaway orders... he deserves a medal..
Managers... get your act together.
An American diner has staff serving tables... you'd stand out from the deluge of chicken shacks etc on O Connell street
I'd have ordered coffee... dessert... and upped my spend.. but the phone orders were far more demanding than an actual client at an actual table and your guy isn't an octopus.
Yes, I'd go again as the food was good... but get your bathrooms sorted and prioritise your walk ins over phone ins.
