07/04/2026: Absolutely terrible service! All staff extremely slow. Very quiet but to wait for food took ages. Our food got cold till we get it. Kids meal without kids meal box which is very unsual.

13/10/2025: I have been getting Apache (Burgerhut Hollyhill) for a good few years. When the food is good, it's really enjoyable. But the food isn't always good (particularly the chips), and as a consequence, I feel the need, to write a review, in the hope, it will encourage Apache, to make some improvements. When ordering chips from Apache, staff will often serve you chips, that have been lying in the tray, for God only knows how long, mixed in with some freshly cooked chips.. Can I ask Apache management, why serve customers, old cooked chips, mixed in with fresh cooked chips..???? Its a very mean act, and I have to throw these chips in the bin, as they are hard & horrible. Why mix old, hard, precooked chips, that have been lying in the tray, with fresh cooked chips, and then serve them to a customer..?? Customers, should only be served, FRESHLY COOKED CHIPS..!! Can I ask Apache management, why you don't automatically serve your pizza's box's, in a paper bag..? If a customer orders a pizza, they may have to walk for 15 or 20 minutes, to get home. Carrying the pizza box, with no bag, means the Pizza, will lose a lot of heat, and the pizza can be cold, when the customer gets home. Also why don't you automatically serve the donor box, and chicken spice box, in a paper bag..? Again, these food boxes, are cold, by the time a customer walks home. Also the donor & chicken spice box, can leak sauce, which can destroy a car seat (if the customer is driving home) The stout, middle aged, short haired lady, that works in Apache, gets a bad pain, if a customer asks for a bag, to put a pizza box in, or donor/chicken spice box into.. Can I ask Apache management, to please supply, proper fitting, paper bags, and to offer them to customers, who are being served food, served in a box. Its really frustrating, having to continuously ask staff, for a proper fitting paper bag, to carry pizzas and spice boxes home in. I must say, most of the staff, are very obliging, when you ask them for a bag, with the exception, of the stout, middle aged, short haired lady, who always seems, to always have an issue, and an excuse, when a customer asks for a bag. If Apache, could introduce a policy, of not serving old, precooked chips to customers, and sort out the issue of supplying customers, with proper fitting, brown paper bags, to customers ordering food in boxes, (Particularly the issue, the stout, middle aged, short haired lady has, of placing food boxes into a paper bag) I will come back and give an up to date review. 09/01/2026: Ordered a couple of pizzas and chips. We were told delivery would take 45–60 minutes. After an hour we rang to check and were told it would be with us in 10 minutes. We had to call again after that, at which point the person on the phone became very rude and just said it was on the way. The food arrived after 1 hour 25 minutes. The pizza was only warm and the chips were cold and unpleasant. Poor communication and poor food quality. Definitely won’t be ordering again.

15/03/2026: Good had gone to hell. It’s way over priced and the delivery service is so long. Good was cold. Not worth going f to visit.

10/02/2026: The food I received today was arguably the worst thing I have ever put in my mouth. Cheesy chips looked like vomit and I have not stopped being sick since. Won’t be back.

03/12/2025: Absolute worst, undercooked fish, overcooked chicken , frozen chips . I ordered and paid for a bottle of coke and when I got there was told we don't do bottles only cans with a shrug . Avoid . Dont k ow how they don't have a 1 star rating. - stars if possible.

14/03/2026: Terrible experience. I went to get a pizza after a night out with my friends. I saw a meal deal for €8.50 which I thought was a bargain. They tried to charge us €20 each and when I refused to pay that price they cursed us out and refused to serve us. Horrible woman behind the counter, she was so rude and accused us of wasting their time when she tried to scam us! Clearly tried to take advantage of us and must get away with it frequently. Just leaving this review to raise awareness. Would not recommend if you don’t want to be scammed.

15/04/2026: I've been to many Subway locations, but this one hits differently. First off, the ingredients here actually look vibrant and fresh, not like they've been sitting under heat lamps for an eternity. The bread had that perfect, subtle crunch on the outside while staying soft inside—a rarity these days. While the food was a solid 5/5, the vibe and service were more of a functional 4. It’s efficient, sure, but lacks that cozy "stay a while" energy. It's the ideal spot if you're on a mission for a high-quality meal but maybe less so for a relaxed sit-down date. That said, the precision in how they built my sub was impressive—no sauce leaking everywhere, just a perfectly engineered sandwich. Definitely adding this to my "reliable lunch" rotation.

16/03/2026: Please do not go in here it's terrible food is disgusting and staff are not nice and don't even listen to your orders properly for a start.... Tried to charge me for extra items as well and got my order wrong after that so I made them make it again about 2 years ago went in once never again.... Plenty of nice other places to get a takeaway in drogheda, the place is run down and feels manky and dirty. Easily worst takeaway in drogheda, Parents went in and they start to say to them while the food was been cooked that if they don't like the food they should leave when they didn't even have their food and were waiting for it. Very rude and weird staff....... Get yourself a mazar next door to it the staff are exceptional in there and food is great!

10/03/2026: Awful food. Delivery came suspiciously fast, there was no way the chicken could have been cooked fresh. Chips were hot but chicken was cold dry and tasteless, ended up putting the whole lot in the bin. Definitely won’t be ordering from here again

02/12/2025: First time here and my McPlant and my friend's chicken nuggets were made fairly quickly, as ordered and were perfect. I do think they should have at least one self service machine as it's very busy. (Saturday afternoon)
