24/12/2025: I ordered from the machine. And waited. I kept hearing a bell but no order number. As someone who is hard of hearing, I asked the kid behind the counter how will i know the order was ready. Firstly, i leaned across to see him and he remained standing at the end of the counter not acomadating me at all. I asked how will i know the order is ready, ther are no screens sayinf so and stating that im hard of hearing and he said "i call it out, order 136 is next". I never said my order was 136(which it was) . 3 order numbers later i went up and asked if 136 was ready and he rolled his eyes and passed me my order. Totally not acomadating to people who are hard of hearing. My friend who has full hearing also said he did not call my number. Full on cheek and attidtude of him. Around 11pm on december 23rd. Its vlear you hate your job but these mechanisms in a community need to be accessible to the general public.

25/02/2026: Had the McPlant friends meal 🌱🍔, plus a basic side salad 🥗, an iced latte ☕️❄️ and a mango smoothie 🥭. To be honest, everything was… just okay 😐 — nothing really stood out. The salad felt very simple and not very fresh 🥬🥲, the iced latte was fine but forgettable, and the mango smoothie was decent but nothing special. 🍟 The real winner? The fries. I used the classic trick — ordering fries with no salt so they make them fresh 🔥😉 — and yes… hot, fresh and actually the best part of the whole meal 😄🍟✨ Overall, it’s a more like a 3.5-star experience for me ⭐⭐⭐½ Convenient, quick and fine for a casual stop — but apart from the fries, nothing really wowed me today 🙂👍

03/03/2026: Owner, PLEASE Raise the Standard of your chips. There are very Few good chips in each portion. Many are burnt to a crisp, narrow and small. Then they are wrapped in big sheets of paper? Please take this as positive feedback Owner as it's unfair to us paying customers.

13/02/2026: First off, the fries reek of bad oil. The fried chicken is tasteless and way too gamy for a fried chicken. Moreover, the value to money is the worst. I spent 23 euros there, and threw most of it in the bin. I have been awfully disappointed by the halal food in Cork.. 🥲

17/03/2026: Every time I order takeaway, my order is incorrect. Items are missing, products are changed without asking, and I always receive less than what I ordered. For example, I ordered 6 nuggets and they sent me 3 cold mozzarella sticks. And I had to wait 3 hours for my order.

16/03/2026: We stopped by this McDonald's late at night/early morning for breakfast and had a great experience. Despite the hour, the environment was clean and quiet, making it a very comfortable spot to sit down. The caffe latte and coffee were delicious, and the donuts were a real treat—fresh and tasty. It’s definitely a reliable go-to spot on Patrick Street if you're looking for quality and a calm atmosphere in the heart of the city at night. Highly recommended!

27/11/2025: Went in on DCU college Christmas and there was only one employee working. He did an AMZAZIMG job not having anyone waiting too long but it’s horrible that one person would be expected to handle such a big crowd.

17/11/2025: I never write reviews but in this case I had to. I ordered a kebab and chillie fries at night, the next morning woke up with FOOD POISONING. I literally spent 20€ to get food poisoning, it’s the worst thing ever. They are never busy so I’m guessing they reuse old food and they aren’t hygienic at all

I was able to choose the menu I wanted, pay, and eat in my native language. It turned out to be the girl who works at McDonald's, who is Lithuanian. The food, as usual, was prepared very quickly and was delicious. There were no delays or problems, so I'm very happy. Great place. I was passing by and was really hungry. 07/02/2026: This place is an absolute kip. I was standing outside the window chatting to a friend, minding my own business and could see a tall lad in his 20s with brownish hair inside making faces and saying something to the woman he worked with about me. He also gave me the middle finger for absolutely no reason. I would highly recommend avoiding this place at all costs unless you feel like being mocked by staff.

19/01/2026: Food was absolutely horrible. Southern fried chicken was uneatable, extremely dry and no flavour in the slightest. Only nice thing from the entire order was the stuffing. Worst takeaway I've ever had.

19/01/2026: As usual, I enjoyed the food I got however, I am very disappointed in the restaurant for having a troublesome employer. I was there on Saturday the 17th where one of your staff was abusive to another member of staff. From what I saw, he had anger issues and he blew up for what seemed to be no reason. I would definitely look into this as it made everyone there, including the customers, uncomfortable.

14/10/2025: The chips were good BUT the fish was the worst fish we had ever tasted!!! It was somehow already covered in batter ready to cook and the batters had become chewy and encased the fish which looked white with no shine or life and was tasteless. I would suggest cooking fresh fish from scratch in the usual manner, if not do not buy their fish.

07/09/2025: I visited here when I was last in Ballybunion. My mam and cousin were with me. We came about 19:00 for food after the beach. Waiting 30 minutes in the queue understandably because it was the evening time. Loved the food

10/01/2026: Started coming here after work as we work late locally, found ourselves become regulars due to the great food and always made feel so welcome by Josh. He always has a big smile and "well lads" regardless of how busy it is, unlike a lot of the staff here. He's a rarity in hospitality these days. Food is always spot on. Only issue i see is that they don't have security like all other takeaways in the area which does lead to a lot of undesirable sitting around you as you try to enjoy your food.

10/02/2026: Ordered , garlic bacon fries came really poor packaged the fried where Luke warm and only 5 pieces of bacon on it . For what I got it’s very overpriced. Opening times : it says it opens at 4:00 but only opened at 16:30. Overall not happy
