30/04/2026: We had our food delivered to the table. It was hot and itcame with everything we needed like ketchup, straws, salt etc. Staff were cleaning tables on a regular basis while we were there.

12/04/2026: Worse service I've ever experienced at any McDonald's anywhere in the world. Just stopped for a quick bacon and egg I was told to make my own bacon next time after questioning why it took over 20 minutes to get my food. This was 10.30 in the morning with only 2 cars ahead of me. The incompetence of some of the staff is hard to comprehend. Very badly run.

06/04/2026: Tried vanilla milkshake and I must say you couldn't drink it with the paper straw - chatgpt now gives techniques such as bring your own spoon/plastic straw or wait for 5 mins for it to melt - McD should start providing these instructions

26/03/2026: Went on a relatively quiet day, it was Thursday around 7pm. There were only 3/4 other tables and there was more than enough staff to go around however they were quite rude, and were very consumed by their own conversations instead of checking up on the customers. We ordered a burger and pitta and received just that with a piece of chicken between it- there was no salad, no sauce the chicken was dry and underwhelming. The pitta itself tasted almost stale. Its a shame since we always love coming to roosters but have noticed over the last year or so that they just try to get the food out instead of actually cooking something worth our money. Hope they can find a way to improve their quality since we have all noticed that roosters douglas has become significantly quiet compared to the last few years.

26/01/2026: I have to say, I am very disappointed before I got food from There and was good about the Year ago tonight I collected food from there and I swear to God dog food taste better than that burger disgusting had Bite gave the rest to my dog. My dog didn’t finish it beef people stay away from it wasting money and time.

13/11/2025: Can not go wrong with this family run restaurant and chipper, always excellent grub and great service. It's a popular regular with my friends and family.

14/04/2026: Fish was beautiful, massive portion with great crispy batter. Best I've had in Cobh. Curry is unique, been the same for years, and fairly nice :) Only complaint is it is quite expensive, 23.50 for fish and chips with two dips delivered Delivery 30 mins

17/04/2026: Fantastic staff , helpful and efficient & professional 👏. I was expecting cold burger & chips because The food was prepared so fast. But in fairness that wasn't an issue. I visited mid to late lunchtime, and no que. To be honest my only disappointment was the very small portion of fries 🍟 ( please see photo ).

03/02/2026: Burger king like others. But I'd like to mention that even despite lot customers (especially from the local school) the place is very clean. The lady that was cleaning tables also cleaned seats. Nice to see the standarts above of other fast foods.
