06/09/2026: A diner with a canteen atmosphere. But the food was good. Like everywhere else, the fries were too pale 😉

03/09/2026: Best McDonalds in Dublin! All the workers are so full of life and kind, Thomas and Lucy are so patient and helpful, and made my experience very pleasant. Will make this my regular McDonalds spot!!!! One thing though was the construction going on left a sterile scent :/

16/08/2026: Writing a review to say the current host is wonderful! I didnt get his name initally because he was working so hard but he kept the place spotless and he was constantly working and checking every customer was helped and satisfied. He met my crazy toddler with a smile and made sure the visit was easy. Thomas youre a star!

19/09/2026: New place looks nice but so much confusion. Not 1 sign to say there is seats downstairs. People standing over other people sitting down waiting for them to finish. Its not my job to tell them about the seats downstairs but they are happy when i do. No staff telling anyone. Put some signs up PLEASE

12/09/2026: I've been to this place HUNDREDS of times over the last 10-12 years. The key thing is consistency, ie I know I'll get a decent coffee and breakfast, my 2 main reasons to visit. The breakfast is good but not as varied as it could be; used to love the Big Breakfast and Danish. A McMuffin meal is nearly double what it was 10 years ago. Music is good, I've even looked up a few tracks from Shazam. Superior location, next to all the shopping. I always have a few loyalty vouchers for the 'free' drinks. I like the app which gives occasional useful offers. Overall, my preferred 'local'. (Update) Noticed frequent staff changes; a McDonald's staple but not necessarily a bad thing. The breakfast menu doesn't really change and this is something that DOES need to be worked on. I am a consistent user and collector of their vouchers for the loyalty cards, always have a few available for the 'free' coffees. The app works well with discount offers, but not much in the breakfast area. Bring back that Big Breakfast! Overall still my go to space in this area for a quick bite to eat, relax, check your phone, and check your local shopping. No reason to change.

08/08/2026: First time in a long time I've eaten in a supermacs. I would happily return for seconds. Staff were great super helpful no messing about. Family and I had a wonderful experience and would recommend for food in the town

03/08/2026: Amazing restaurant! Everything was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was lovely. I also ordered the salad, and it was absolutely fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back

19/07/2026: An unpleasant blonde woman at the till skipped me as I was queuing for service in lieu of 3 woman who walked in 5 mins after me and plonked themselves at the front of the counter. When I announced that to her, she verbally scolded me to wait my turn. I left and went to a better establishment. Hateful behaviour, will not be returning. Do better

05/08/2026: Ordered online and went for collection but the girl there made me wait a long time and was not at all approachable. A kind of racist attitude. Will not visit again.

04/09/2026: Used to like this place. now fish is miserable not cod but definitely codding people chips ok won't return now

05/08/2026: Excellent chipper chips and never waiting too long. Just wish they offered a fully vegan meal option (e.g. plant based goujons, nuggets or burgers) to go with them and thats the only reason i wouldnt give 4-star😊

05/08/2026: 2026 August Absolute poison literally. Got food from the drive thru 10pm and when we pulled out onto the road realised the food was served to us cold moved on from that don’t have high expectations anyway it’s McDonalds Drogheda. Ate our food at home woke up in the middle of the night with food poisoning off work for 2 days with whatever plague they served out the window. NSAI FSAI need to close this place down again. I’d rather get my dinner out of the supermacs skip than go through this drive thru again. I don’t know if they got rid of the rats problem they had or just hired them to cook.

11/09/2026: Its very rare that i complain about food but the food here was absolutely awful. Abrakebabra used to be so much better.

24/09/2026: I was one first customers in drive throu for over 20 years twice week drive through and sat sit in with grandson Getting same meal zinger chicken stackers meal gravy box since open twice week since opened the servers know me .. little Christie knows me so well that she has order ready by time get to window This week asked usual meal.was told had to have wings even thou don't eat them , always pay extra to upgrade always Getting piece chicken on bone as upgrade New server this week said had to take wings which don't eat and wasn't very polite ..so rude . so drove away without meal I will never go back manners means lot .. loyalty means more .. I pay extra all.time for extras It's regular like me that keep you going through covid .. MARY MCMANUS
