18/01/2026: I got 2 "FRESH" cod and chips, the chips where reheated and brown, no taste and the 2 fish where in a box together full of grease, and definitely not fresh. It all went in the bin.

10/01/2026: I ordered from Romayos Belmayne a while ago, It took about an hour to get here ( I'm literally so close to the restaurant) and when they got here I said Thank you and took the food but when I opened it, It was the wrong food thankfully they came back with my correct order so it wasn't that bad I guess besides from them coming over an hour. I then went to order from Romayos clongriffin and literally the same exact thing happened..

16/03/2026: Asked for no pineapple, it was buried in pineapple. Asked for extra garlic on chips and thank god they didn't put extra because it was clumpy. Asked for a doner box got a tray no chips. 50 euro I spent for 3 of us and there was a fiver tax. Used to love this place but will never go again. I cant add a photo for some reason but i made sure i took some.. Edit.. thank you for your response, but while I appreciate it, a discount is not good enough when I said I will not order again. There was a delivery charge, a service fee and a vat charge. I order in alot and have never had to pay 5 euro vat. Been honest, this place used to be amazing for quality and value, you have really let yourself down. Go back to the way you used to be, because it was the best place in ennis

20/11/2025: This place is quite consistent in messing up orders, today was the last straw for us. No accountability. The food here is barely worth it if their service was any good, without that this place is an easy skip. Recommend to avoid.

14/11/2025: Absolutely beautiful chips! My son got a chicken burger, and I got a quarter pounder, both cooked to perfection! My other son who had Autism will only eat some batter sausages and he devoured the batter sausages from here. The man serving was polite and very fast considering he was serving alone. Keep up the great service and food! We thoroughly enjoyed 🥰 Thank you!

31/10/2025: Moved to swords this year and decided to try fingal cafe in the hopes of finding a good chipper in the area. Really disappointing that they do not freshly batter the fish. They have a drawer filled with essentially part cooked fish (likely frozen and defrosted as needed) that they then put into the fryer. Because of this the batter is crispy on the outside but is mushy closer to the fish. A very short sighted way of cost cutting. I was hoping this could have been a place for us to continuously return to over the years but unfortunately I will never be back as the food is not up to scratch. At 35 euro for 2 fish and chips with sauces you really should be trying to do better for your customers fingal cafe.

13/10/2025: I have been getting Apache (Burgerhut Hollyhill) for a good few years. When the food is good, it's really enjoyable. But the food isn't always good (particularly the chips), and as a consequence, I feel the need, to write a review, in the hope, it will encourage Apache, to make some improvements. When ordering chips from Apache, staff will often serve you chips, that have been lying in the tray, for God only knows how long, mixed in with some freshly cooked chips.. Can I ask Apache management, why serve customers, old cooked chips, mixed in with fresh cooked chips..???? Its a very mean act, and I have to throw these chips in the bin, as they are hard & horrible. Why mix old, hard, precooked chips, that have been lying in the tray, with fresh cooked chips, and then serve them to a customer..?? Customers, should only be served, FRESHLY COOKED CHIPS..!! Can I ask Apache management, why you don't automatically serve your pizza's box's, in a paper bag..? If a customer orders a pizza, they may have to walk for 15 or 20 minutes, to get home. Carrying the pizza box, with no bag, means the Pizza, will lose a lot of heat, and the pizza can be cold, when the customer gets home. Also why don't you automatically serve the donor box, and chicken spice box, in a paper bag..? Again, these food boxes, are cold, by the time a customer walks home. Also the donor & chicken spice box, can leak sauce, which can destroy a car seat (if the customer is driving home) The stout, middle aged, short haired lady, that works in Apache, gets a bad pain, if a customer asks for a bag, to put a pizza box in, or donor/chicken spice box into.. Can I ask Apache management, to please supply, proper fitting, paper bags, and to offer them to customers, who are being served food, served in a box. Its really frustrating, having to continuously ask staff, for a proper fitting paper bag, to carry pizzas and spice boxes home in. I must say, most of the staff, are very obliging, when you ask them for a bag, with the exception, of the stout, middle aged, short haired lady, who always seems, to always have an issue, and an excuse, when a customer asks for a bag. If Apache, could introduce a policy, of not serving old, precooked chips to customers, and sort out the issue of supplying customers, with proper fitting, brown paper bags, to customers ordering food in boxes, (Particularly the issue, the stout, middle aged, short haired lady has, of placing food boxes into a paper bag) I will come back and give an up to date review. 17/03/2026: Website says they close at 11 PM on Mondays but showed up at 10 and staff said grill was closed so half the menu was unavailable. Food was rushed and staff were already checking out. Don’t trust the listed hours — go earlier or don’t bother.

22/02/2026: We went here on Sunday afternoon around 2pm. My pita fell apart thick cabbage barley any sign of meat, all sauce poorly constructed product. My partner had Shawma for a change it wasn't a bit as described in the picture. We use the Mahon Point unit which is by far superior. No wonder the Patrick street shop was empty. Standard was far below par. You need to get someone down here fast to sort things out. They barely took notice of our complaints.

19/01/2026: Always loved this place. Used to be renowned for very generous portions of chips. It seems to have changed owners/staff in last year. What's the issue? Its a potato. Got a snack I box. Tiny amount of chips compared to before. Lukewarm. Staff are fairly cheerless too. Total shame because standard of chicken and chips is usually intact. Price increase now too.€8.50 for a snackbox???I can remember when it was€5.60. Its just greed. People aren't stupid. They think with their feet. Total shame

06/03/2026: So....I just visited Supermac's & Papa John in Headford. I entered around 12 pm. I ordered 2 tenders meal, with coke no ice, and 2 barbecue sauce. Before completing order my wife changed her mind about sauce, so I asked to change 1 of dips from barbecue, to garlic mayo. Our server...he was wiping/scratching his nose with his hand on front of me, and he didn't wash his hands. Food arrived. Only garlic dips, no barbecue. So I did go to him to ask for my barbecue. He said I didn't order it, and conversation did go the way like I don't know what i ordered. I did have to pay extra for that dip. I came back to table, then I find out coke is with ice, not without. I didn't even come back to him to let him know. That was pointless. I don't know his name, that's why I write the time of order, so manager will know who was working at this time. Young fella max 20 years old. Big disappointment about service, because tenders was not too bad.

04/02/2026: The food was imaculate much better than America which are chicken nuggets are raw but these mmm so amazing the service was soo nice the people were so kind and friendly smiling and it was a nice vibe the atmosphere was very good it was clean warm and homey I liked this place very very much and if I ever visit again I will defo be coming back 5 star for everything 💖💖💖

21/12/2025: Just been into the premises chipper and paid €4.95 for what I can only describe as 1 large potato worth of chips .without doubt the meanest bag of chips in the county .disgraceful. stopping of at my local chipper on our way home to get another bag .way overpriced if it was a full bag what I got I wouldn't pay €1.50

08/12/2025: We ordered for a large group and everything was absolutely delicious. The team accommodated all our requests without any hassle, and the service was fantastic from start to finish. Everyone really enjoyed their food, highly recommended! Thanks guys and sorry for adding more pressure to an already busy Saturday night!
