05/04/2026: Just got home and realised they left out an entire burger, a Double Big Mac. That’s not a simple mistake; it’s being charged for something I never received. I have no tolerance for poorly run franchises with no customer service, no quality control, and no accountability.

26/03/2026: The food was ok but, I 've been in better MC's.

19/07/2026: I pulled in off the motorway to get something to eat and man, I lucked out. This is one of the nicest chippers in Ireland full stop.

13/07/2026: Incredibly slow service and an overall strange vibe. It took ages to order because the staff seemed more interested in staring around than doing their jobs. One employee was whispering while looking right at us/other customers, which felt very uncomfortable. Poor service and unprofessional behavior.

27/05/2026: I ordered a burger and a kebab without spicy sauce for home delivery. Both the order and the receipt clearly stated “no spicy sauce,” but the kebab arrived with spicy sauce anyway. I went to REMIX PIZZA and returned it, but they neither gave me a new one nor refunded my money. I do not recommend this place.

02/06/2026: Cod and chips and calamari and chips, €14.50 each. Frozen chips, fish and calamari only grand. Do not reccomended, very dissatisfied, overpriced completely for what it was.

14/04/2026: Fish was beautiful, massive portion with great crispy batter. Best I've had in Cobh. Curry is unique, been the same for years, and fairly nice :) Only complaint is it is quite expensive, 23.50 for fish and chips with two dips delivered Delivery 30 mins

18/05/2026: Had an absolutely terrible experience with this shop. I ordered a Spice Box and found a hair in the food, which is already disgusting and completely unacceptable. When I informed the staff, they first said they would replace it, but after making me and my friend wait around for nearly 10 minutes, nobody bothered to follow up or even acknowledge us. When I asked again, instead of apologizing properly, they started arguing and trying to blame us by saying the hair could have been ours because it didn’t have sauce on it. That response was honestly irritating and insulting. It genuinely felt like they were just hoping we would get frustrated and leave instead of taking responsibility. What made the whole situation even worse was the rude attitude from the staff. After all of this, they actually suggested that we could simply remove the hair and continue eating the food. That level of disrespect and lack of hygiene standards is shocking. We ended up leaving the shop because of there irrespective nature. Finding a hair in food is bad enough, but the way the staff behaved afterwards was even worse. No customer should ever be treated like that.The shop destroyed mine and my friends entire vibe and mood for the day.

18/05/2026: Had a really bad experience yesterday. I ordered a Spice Box and found a hair in it. When I went to the staff and informed them, they initially said they would replace it, but after waiting 10 minutes there was still no response. When I asked again, they started saying the hair might be ours because it didn’t have any sauce on it. It also felt like they were just waiting for us to leave. When I asked them again to replace the food, they were very rude and even suggested that we could just remove the hair and eat it. We ended up leaving the place because of how badly the situation was handled.

22/06/2026: This place is filthy, not to mention the bathrooms 😵‍💫🤮🤢 I went because it was the only place open at 10 pm. I wouldn't go back.

13/06/2026: Ordered a cup of tap water with my nuggets. Was really looking forward to quenching my thirst. They gave me a cup of HOT water with a three solitary ice cubes. I told them about their mistake. Instead of using the cold water tap, the enlightened staff instead topped it up with three more ice cubes, and for extra flavour they included a human hair. I emerged from the O'Connell street McDonald's a changed man.

28/06/2026: Very poor staff service here. I can understand rush hour and busy periods, however, a minimum wait of 20 mins even for chips etc seems excessive. Staff became rude and defensive when asked a simple question regarding waiting times.

07/06/2026: Toilets are like something from a horow movie. For a family run restaurant as it is advertised they need some sort that out. Food Service was good, it was polite friendly and fast. Order was mixed up and sorted out quickly for the type of drink but not a big deal it would have been if it was a takeaway and not noticed, but spotted it being bagged at the counter for dine in. €18.60 for a very Large portion of the medium chiken breast box. Choice between skinny or chunky chips which is a nice option. Chicken was done nice it was tender and cooked skin was fried just right. It comes with the most unseasoned driest chicken stuffing I ever tasted. What a waste, it should not even be included with the meal. The quarter pounder with cheese, bun was overcooked almost burnt not sure how they cook them buns. Just about edible. As for the atmosphere plenty of seating, one set of seats at the table for 6 had no seating cushion. Must be out for repair. Interior outdated and tacky. For a quick fast food, service was quick chips and chicken was nice burger not so. Would not recommend this for a family restaurant especially for chicken and fast foodies.

15/07/2026: Came in because I was craving some chicken tenders. Now it's been a good while since I was last in any sort of Rockets but they must've done something to their tenders recipe because they have to be the most bland chicken tenders I've ever had. I kept adding salt to them because there was just no flavour. Couldn't even finish them

15/07/2026: €17.90 for a beer and chicken burger.. the burger is tiny and does not come with fries.. seems overpriced .. chicken tenders in the burger tasted OK but the presentation needs improvement!

08/07/2026: I Ordered Chicken Tenders and Chips For Dinner Before Ferry At 6 20pm The Staff Is So Friendly It Was The Same As Letterkenny and Sligo. I Would Order Here Again.

09/06/2026: I've ordered the Taco Chips from Four Lanterns in Buncrana many times and they are always top notch. The food is consistently fresh, hot, and full of flavour, with generous portions every time. The Taco Chips are definitely one of my favourites and never disappoint. The staff are always friendly, service is quick, and the quality is consistently excellent. Highly recommended if you're looking for a great takeaway in Buncrana. Keep up the great work!
