19/01/2026: As usual, I enjoyed the food I got however, I am very disappointed in the restaurant for having a troublesome employer. I was there on Saturday the 17th where one of your staff was abusive to another member of staff. From what I saw, he had anger issues and he blew up for what seemed to be no reason. I would definitely look into this as it made everyone there, including the customers, uncomfortable.

19/01/2026: Food was absolutely horrible. Southern fried chicken was uneatable, extremely dry and no flavour in the slightest. Only nice thing from the entire order was the stuffing. Worst takeaway I've ever had.

02/01/2026: Waste of money! I have been to most part of the restaurants in Dun Laoghaire the last 2 years living around to try the food, and all the places here (regardless the cuisine’s style - Italian, american, japanese, chinese, french, Indian, burger and sandwich, kebab…) provide a delicious and well served food BUT this place. It’s the first time in Dun Laoghaire that I do regret buying and eating something. The service is the only “ok” part but nothing outstanding, the premises pretty cold and many tables and floor dirty with bags full of bin in the middle… and about the food I am speechless to describe as so poor, small and tasteless it is and a high price charged basing on such low quality and quantity. Guys, please… I do recommend you to give a good stroll around through the neighbourhood and learn with the other restaurants (even above you the burgers are better). You have such a nice and extremely well based spot with all the potential and throw all this away with this kind of “supermarket burger” you sell! Next time I would rather go to McDonalds instead of walking into this place to eat - obs: I hate McDonalds for being such a bland food 🙃

26/12/2025: DEPRESSING EXPERIENCE I was walking in Dun Laoighaire with my friend and we were both hungry so naturally we looked around for place to eat and stumbled across “Rockets” initially we thought it was “Eddie Rockets” but we found out it wasn’t, however we decided to enter. The place is decent looking, overall clean I would called it even a niche place to bring a girl if you guys don’t mind the loud covers of copy righted songs however the quality of the food for the price doesn’t match whatsoever, I had spend over €22 on a “spicy” chicken sandwich,fries,drink and garlic sauce. The “spicy” chicken sandwich ; The chicken sandwich was not spicy whatsoever but rather more sweet since they actually put honey onto it, I expected it to be a fillet but it was three depressing looking tenders, the breading was barely there and it was lacking flavour, the brioche bun was decent it wasn’t dry or anything but it also just looked bland nothing special about it. The fries; The fries had to probably be the best part of the meal, they were fairly seasoned but not very crispy and fluffy, the garlic sauce was saving the situation however initially when I was handed the sauce I opened it and found a small hair inside which I then got up walked over to the counter and asked to get a new one when I was greeted by the question “why?” I showed why and i immediately received an apology along with a new sauce. The drink; They just give you a normal paper cup nothing special to say about it. Garlic sauce; Was actually a good garlic sauce apart from the hair situation.

03/05/2025: Got onion rings and doner tray here lastnight and the food was burned. For the price of it..... Never again.......

18/01/2026: I got 2 "FRESH" cod and chips, the chips where reheated and brown, no taste and the 2 fish where in a box together full of grease, and definitely not fresh. It all went in the bin.

10/01/2026: I ordered from Romayos Belmayne a while ago, It took about an hour to get here ( I'm literally so close to the restaurant) and when they got here I said Thank you and took the food but when I opened it, It was the wrong food thankfully they came back with my correct order so it wasn't that bad I guess besides from them coming over an hour. I then went to order from Romayos clongriffin and literally the same exact thing happened..

13/10/2025: I have been getting Apache (Burgerhut Hollyhill) for a good few years. When the food is good, it's really enjoyable. But the food isn't always good (particularly the chips), and as a consequence, I feel the need, to write a review, in the hope, it will encourage Apache, to make some improvements. When ordering chips from Apache, staff will often serve you chips, that have been lying in the tray, for God only knows how long, mixed in with some freshly cooked chips.. Can I ask Apache management, why serve customers, old cooked chips, mixed in with fresh cooked chips..???? Its a very mean act, and I have to throw these chips in the bin, as they are hard & horrible. Why mix old, hard, precooked chips, that have been lying in the tray, with fresh cooked chips, and then serve them to a customer..?? Customers, should only be served, FRESHLY COOKED CHIPS..!! Can I ask Apache management, why you don't automatically serve your pizza's box's, in a paper bag..? If a customer orders a pizza, they may have to walk for 15 or 20 minutes, to get home. Carrying the pizza box, with no bag, means the Pizza, will lose a lot of heat, and the pizza can be cold, when the customer gets home. Also why don't you automatically serve the donor box, and chicken spice box, in a paper bag..? Again, these food boxes, are cold, by the time a customer walks home. Also the donor & chicken spice box, can leak sauce, which can destroy a car seat (if the customer is driving home) The stout, middle aged, short haired lady, that works in Apache, gets a bad pain, if a customer asks for a bag, to put a pizza box in, or donor/chicken spice box into.. Can I ask Apache management, to please supply, proper fitting, paper bags, and to offer them to customers, who are being served food, served in a box. Its really frustrating, having to continuously ask staff, for a proper fitting paper bag, to carry pizzas and spice boxes home in. I must say, most of the staff, are very obliging, when you ask them for a bag, with the exception, of the stout, middle aged, short haired lady, who always seems, to always have an issue, and an excuse, when a customer asks for a bag. If Apache, could introduce a policy, of not serving old, precooked chips to customers, and sort out the issue of supplying customers, with proper fitting, brown paper bags, to customers ordering food in boxes, (Particularly the issue, the stout, middle aged, short haired lady has, of placing food boxes into a paper bag) I will come back and give an up to date review. 13/01/2026: Beautiful exterior view. Poor service. We even had to change floors mid-meal because they were supposedly coming to wash the floor.

17/12/2025: Below average! I was served a doner from a day before (if not older hopefully) with attitude! A shame for Turkish doner restaurants especially in a city like Cork.

14/12/2025: Omg I've eaten in here for years in Dublin Kilkenny etc this was worst service and food tbh food lyingng in the shoot for ages asian girl very nice in fairness kept taking orders not bagging up food while 5 lads in the back looking at her I don't complain tbh but lads come get your house in order simples and my my food was cold and there's more salt ce than taco mince which is disappointing

13/07/2025: Ordered online around 10:30 got a message pop up saying my order was cancelled and I will receive my refund in 3-5 business days it has now been 8 days no refund in my account:) we also had to pay an additional 30€ up front for the food they cooked which wasn’t even up to standard. Very disappointing, and the owner lied straight to my face when confronted. Do not eat there!!

22/06/2025: Did not eat here because they do not serve fish and chips. Lots of other food to order but NO fish.

03/12/2025: Not too good. But night time opener’s had a vegiterian kabab, it was over loaded with cream. And fully loaded with onion insted of other vegitables. I didnt orderd for onion kabab, i ordered veg kabab. Not good.

26/06/2025: Very good and fresh fish. They were very fast. The workers and the owner are very kind and friendly. If you wanna try an original fish and chips go there.

07/01/2026: Took 40 minutes to get my food and when it arrived the chips where dry and hard.

10/01/2026: Started coming here after work as we work late locally, found ourselves become regulars due to the great food and always made feel so welcome by Josh. He always has a big smile and "well lads" regardless of how busy it is, unlike a lot of the staff here. He's a rarity in hospitality these days. Food is always spot on. Only issue i see is that they don't have security like all other takeaways in the area which does lead to a lot of undesirable sitting around you as you try to enjoy your food.

21/01/2026: How can you get chips wrong - got grey tasteless chips tonight from Capri Kimmage so disappointed as I was looking forward to chips. Is the any good chippers left in Dublin.

19/01/2026: Always loved this place. Used to be renowned for very generous portions of chips. It seems to have changed owners/staff in last year. What's the issue? Its a potato. Got a snack I box. Tiny amount of chips compared to before. Lukewarm. Staff are fairly cheerless too. Total shame because standard of chicken and chips is usually intact. Price increase now too.€8.50 for a snackbox???I can remember when it was€5.60. Its just greed. People aren't stupid. They think with their feet. Total shame
