The best restaurants in Malahide

14/12/2024: Had an excellent meal here. We were a party of 8 and we had a very enjoyable time. Staff were excellent, as was the atmosphere. It was our second visit and I would highly recommend That's Amore.

11/12/2024: We love Amore. Food is delicious Lasagne is the best I have eaten outside of Italy. Book early as it’s usually booked out.

07/11/2024: Excellent authentic Indian food. Early bird up until 7pm on Wed and Thurs which is great value & even includes rice and Naan bread. Service is good also. Looking forward to returning

21/10/2024: We arrived at 8.25pm on Saturday 19th Oct for 8.30pm booking and were told table would not be ready for 15 mins and then we were asked to wait outside until it was ready. First time any of us have been asked to wait outside a restaurant for a delayed booking. This was disgraceful. When we finally got to order the food we were waiting for over an hour for the food to arrive, again, another first for us. We had to enquire as to where the food was. When the bill arrived (€328 ) it had a "discretionary" service charge of 10%. I asked for it to be removed as we felt the service was very poor. The staff member said it could not be removed as it had already been added. I had to point out to him that it was "discretionary" and we would not be paying it as we felt the service was very poor. He eventually removed it. The act of adding a 10% discretionary service charge (tip) for a late table and over an hour wait for food is also a reflection of the terrible service. They had a chance to redeem themselves to some degree when a free round of drinks was then offered to the table. Only myself wanted another drink, no one else did, I asked for a grasshopper ( 1 only requested ) and this was refused. I was told a cocktail was not possible. Maybe we should have just ordered 5 whiskeys. So again terrible service. On the plus side the food was very nice when it finally arrived over an hour after ordering but on balance this did not make up for the deplorable service and attitude.

10/11/2024: Amazing brunch spot with top-notch service! The food was delicious, made with high-quality ingredients. It was my partner’s birthday, so I asked for a dessert with a “happy birthday” message. They went above and beyond by adding a candle and singing “Happy Birthday,” which was such a lovely gesture from the staff. I highly recommend this place!

28/11/2024: Service was 10/10, we were served by a young girl who was lovely and friendly. The wine and cocktails were very tasty. However the food was so disappointing, way overpriced in my opinion. We ordered the Steak for 2 and half of it was fat and the meat itself didn't have much flavor to it. I heard mixed reviews of this place and can definitely agree that there is far more nicer restaurants to pick in a malahide.

27/11/2024: Getting a table for a larger group without a reservation is great. Beautiful atmosphere at Christmas time and the service was very friendly. However, the food was rather average. I had the burger, unfortunately I wasn't asked how well done the meat should be. Accordingly, the burger was far too dry for me because the meat was completely cooked through. Unfortunately, you could only taste the pickled cucumbers from the topping and nothing else. However, the non-alcoholic cocktails are highly recommended.

07/12/2024: This place is stunning! I love the decoration. We got served quickly and food was good, but I find it a little bit overpriced even for Malahide. The milkshakes are spot on though and the dish presentation is great 😊

06/12/2024: Just want to flag that this place is not dog friendly, I just called to check. I’ve eaten there before and it’s really tasty and good service, just want to flag because could be confusing for fellow dog owners

14/12/2024: Got takeout from here on my last night in Ireland! Was delish/ and I got a bottle of hot sauce which I loved - couldn’t bring back to Canada since I had opened there and didn’t want to smash in my luggage but the place was super nice - everyone working their super friendly. I would highly recommend going for the great food and good atmosphere!

10/11/2024: An amazing steakhouse to visit! The ribeye was tender, perfectly cooked, and absolutely delicious. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft inside, and the seafood pasta was incredible. I was so captivated by the look and aroma of everything that I totally forgot to take pictures—except for dessert! I managed to capture the hot chocolate pot, which was deliciously indulgent. Highly recommend!

09/12/2024: Stayed here last weekend. Very relaxing, lunch and evening food were amazing. I did enjoy the hot breakfast buffet, food a bit cold. Overall a fantastic place to stay.

29/11/2024: Having eaten here many times, the food never disappoints. Amazingly fresh, well presented and delicious. Family or couples, they always just get it right. Bring your appetite.

11/11/2024: The food was delicious. I got steak and chips which were lovely and my partner got the burger which he said was very nice. The food was done super quick even though it was very busy of a Saturday! The girl who served us was very friendly and polite. Definitely recommend.

23/11/2024: This is a lovely little coffee truck they also make smoothie bowls which my kids love. The staff are always super friendly.
