18/04/2025: Excellent experience! I was very surprised and impressed and the outstanding quality and top notch service. I went for the set menu which was fantastic value at €25 for 2 x courses with a good selection. I'd highly recommend the tagliatelle Alfredo. One of the best I've ever had and that's including in Italy. Amazing Smokey but creamy taste. Ate it so quickly I didn't get the chance to take a proper photo. Also had a lemoncello spritz, which was ok but a bit light on the lemoncello.

04/05/2025: Booked for a Friday evening. Sat outside for a drink. Let the waitress know we had a table booked. Moved inside and noticed McGoverns had emailed me saying we were 15 mins late, which we weren't. We both had a steak, mine the fillet, and my husband, the rib eye. Honestly, this meal was 10 out of 10. I had garlic roast potatoes with mine, and everything I got was so tasty. I had booked other restaurants in Malahide and being honest could have happily dined here for the weekend. Service outside wasn't so great, but inside was a different story, excellent service. We have dined here before, not sure why it's not the number one place to dine in Malahide, in my view the food is delicious. Definitely be back!

26/04/2025: I’ve been there twice and the food it’s amazing!! They have gluten free options, I got the poached eggs with halloumi, also the mussels, sooo good. I definitely recommend this place and I will come back. Also the workers there really nice.

19/04/2025: Beautifully presented food in a charming setting. We had the fish and rib-eye steaks—both cooked to perfection and paired with a lovely Sauvignon Blanc. Our waiter was incredibly friendly and provided excellent service throughout. We’ll definitely be back—this was easily one of the best meals we’ve had in Malahide.

16/04/2025: First time visiting this little gem of a restaurant. From the moment we entered, we felt valued - pleasant friendly welcome. Very nice atmosphere with good lighting and tables well spaced. Only slight complaint would be that the chairs were a little uncomfortable. Food was superb - we opted for pâté and burrata for starters and we both had the lamb for mains. Meat was exquisite, just was perfect and the accompanying potato and vegetables were perfectly cooked. Pinot noir was very good, if a little pricey. Waiting staff came around after we had finished the main course with a tray of very tiny desserts, in a way that could be misconstrued as a complimentary offering but in fact they were not. Although they tasted nice, they were just a bit too small in portion size for the price and left us feeling somewhat underwhelmed. Staff were incredibly attentive throughout the evening, without being intrusive. Definitely worth a return visit!

19/04/2025: Our favorite pub in Malahide to have a pint ! This beautiful place is amazingly huge : lots of tables and seats spanned across multiple rooms (and a rooftop) where all people of this town could fit in. Love their Lamps lager

11/03/2025: Recently stopped in for a spot of brunch and couldn’t recommend enough! Staff were super friendly and service was so quick! French toast with bacon and maple syrup was great but my eyes were bigger than my belly and couldn’t finish it all, server kindly recommend that I order the smaller kids portion the next time I visit. Looking forward to another visit soon!

06/03/2025: First stop for food while in Ireland, I had fish and chips + a coke, the fish was perfectly fried and the chips were crunchy on the inside and soft on the outside. Great meal!

09/04/2025: Oh dear ! So disappointed. Our 40th wedding anniversary. Were upgraded to the executive wing. Freezing. Don't do it if you have a choice. Asked for heat. No. Got a heater. And they didn't turn it on. Just not acceptable today. Completely spoilt our occasion. Never again.

27/04/2025: We came here for brunch without a booking. Thankfully they accommodated us but only for an hour because they’re fully booked. The food arrived quickly. Service is spot on. Full Irish breakfast is delish! Kinder bueno pancake is ordinary. Hassle free parking is a bonus!
