05/03/2025: Sometimes u get a scoop of chips with items like a pie or sausage. Sometimes u don't. Consistency would be better. Food is good but sometimes orders can be wrong, as in wrong sauce or items missing. Still nice irish chipper

06/02/2025: This award winning chipper served up a delicately cooked fish (complete with mushy peas), a substantial double burger, and a generous portion of nicely cooked chips. Will definitely keep them on my list of places to visit whenever I'm in the city.

16/12/2024: Tuvimos una hermosa familia reunida en el restaurante New Yorker, todo lo que puedo decir es que mi familia y yo estábamos muy satisfechos! La comida, el servicio y todo el ambiente que el restaurante y los camareros proporcionaron fue muy acogedor. Oseas el estudiante de Malta se destacó mucho para nosotros! Su servicio maravilloso y amable era de primera categoría. Un gran saludo a Shauna también, encantadora jovencita debo decir. Estábamos tan satisfechos con todo y sin duda volveríamos!

27/01/2025: Solía ser un gran bar una vez. no estoy seguro de lo que pasó, pero el ambiente parece haberse evaporado, el personal muy antipático mientras que el bar en sí está frío y pagando 7 € por una pinta de cerveza (a partir de enero de 2025 ) está tomando el p*ss un poco, sin mencionar el tiempo que tomó para tirar de dicha pinta

04/01/2025: We tried Eddie Farrels lamb shank and chicken masala, food is great. Crowded restaurant, atmosphere is ok. Porsions are above avarage. Efficient service with square porsions. I will visit again.

21/02/2025: Kip de un lugar, alarmas de seguridad y de incendio defectuosas que pueden sonar en cualquier momento del día o de la noche, molestando a los residentes locales y clientes y otras personas que hacen sus negocios diarios. Manager es arrogante y se niega a resolver estos problemas, la música también se reproduce demasiado alto, en resumen, una molestia de ruido en una zona por lo demás agradable. Mala calidad, Kip.

13/03/2025: Has the management and chef changed??? This used to be a great bar with professional staffand good staff . It is sadly now the opposite. Disinterested staff and poor quality food. Shame. I certainly won't be returning until management changes.

11/03/2025: I went here to watch a champions league match with my family. The service was terrible, waited at the bar for over 20 minutes and was blatantly ignored by all bar staff. I was eventually served and I was charged €2.50 for a mi-wadi for my son. We were then kicked out of the pub for not ordering a second round of drinks. Staff were so rude to me and my family. When asked for his name he refused to give me his name and then forced and followed me out of the restaurant. Staff are extremely rude and ignorant despite the place having only a handful of people in the place. I would not recommend this restaurant to anybody.

29/11/2024: Como local siempre me ha gustado este lugar, pero tengo que decir que ha cambiado completamente en el último año. Si bien las pintas son un € 5 que es genial, la calidad de las instalaciones no es grande. La falta de mantenimiento parece ser el mayor problema, especialmente en los baños femeninos. Es una lástima ya que podría ser un establecimiento fantástico para todos.

18/01/2025: Had our table booked and shown too it that was grand, was left sitting there for ages and eventually had to look for someone too actually serve us. Food came fast and was delicious, can not fault the food what so ever it was perfect 👌. But then strangely I'm the middle of eating our dinner the woman came back and asked would we like to pay cash or card and stood there until I paid? I did not appreciate that at all it was very rude. But what ever about the service I would go back for the food it was 100%

21/11/2024: Ordered the bacon cheese burger and fries and a SF chicken burger and fries via deliveroo yesterday. My partner's SF chicken burger tasted good. Halfway through eating my own beef based bacon cheese burger I found the flavour a bit "funny" but didn't think much of it. Circa an hour later I felt extremely unwell. I could not sleep from the level of nausea and this morning still felt very poorly. Once I ate today, I immediately felt nauseous again and have thrown up twice. I fear there must have been some form of cross contamination, bad meat or a bacteria issue in their kitchen. I'm feeling utterly wretched and the only thing that my partner and I have have eaten differently the last few days was my beef burger versus their SF burger so it must be the burger that has caused this.

17/07/2024: This full Irish breakfast that is just under €14.00 euros. Everything included in the full Irish traditional Irish breakfast. That is served all day. With prices and quality this restaurant has pushed its priorities to the limit with great satisfaction. The staff were more then happy to assist with the food ordered and  anything else that was required. The menu in this grill restaurant is simple, yet has alot to offer to satisfy your hungry needs, for all foodies. With quality food served in a comfortable spacious indoor seating area. With an interesting and attenative interior. This restaurant will definitely give you top rated quality food at affordable prices. Highly recommend.

01/07/2024: Breakfast Right on the money if you’re looking for somewhere to have a good old breakfast in Cork centre. The couple who run this joint make you feel so welcome and the breaky was spot on!

28/02/2025: was waiting for ages for the worst pita ever

11/02/2025: Stopped here for a bit of lunch while passing through Bantry. We had a BLT and tuna melt sambo with portion of wedges and food is 5 star. Very very tasty!!!! The only thing I would say is the service was a bit slow and it wasn't that busy when we were there and lot of tables left and not cleaned up after. It does not look the tidiest coffee shop and needs a little decor upgrade even for the tables. Bathroom wasn't clean and no paper towels. This place has huge potential cos the food is delicious even to have bit of background music would create a lovely atmosphere. The only improvements they need is improvements they can easily improve on. But if you stop here for food you won't be disappointed!

26/01/2025: Went for bottomless brunch. I will give credit that the drinks actually felt bottomless even with it being quite busy however, the chicken and waffles I got was a pretty small portion and the chicken was dry and just felt like it was in the freezer for a long time and the waffle was so dry it would get caught in my throat. In the past the food here used to be exceptional. Really disappointed that the quality has really gone downhill

26/10/2024: I had haddock and it was not pinballed and when I was eating scales were coming directly in my mouth. It was not scaled as well and the quantity was not enough. Very bad experience with haddock. 1/4 and 1/2 pounders are nice.
