07/08/2026: Been coming here for years and years and its unreal, Taste and flavour isnt matched . The lads are sound out also.

17/08/2026: Went there for lunch 4pm.saturday 15th August. Food was good and most waiters were good, except for one waiter male was extremely rude. Got told "what are you looking at " when coming to the table to handle our order He was Trying to be good at dry humor but lacking the comedy and wit for it. Won't be coming back with a service staff like that.

14/08/2026: The museum doesn't offer much. It's small. We didn't see the planetarium since it was separate from the entrance fee. Entry was €32 for a family of four, and children under five get in free. The planetarium was €5 per person, but in the end we didn't go in.

31/07/2026: Excellent fresh food. Appropriate sized portions. Professional Chefs create the dishes in a semi open kitchen area that is very clean and well run. Staff are friendly and attentative. Will I visit again? yes.

14/08/2026: I'll start by saying, the food was really good. One weird thing is they had alcohol free gin and I recently stopped drinking alcohol. Not completely but just not as often anymore. So in a ted to try it, I saw they had pineapple juice and alcohol free gin and I asked if they could make a mocktail using the gun and pineapple juice. They couldn't. I dunno why. It was weird. So they gave me a glass of the gun and a glass of pineapple juice. Dunno why, it's not hard to just mix the 2 to make a mocktail. Also, it is a family friendly place so the table next to use had like 5 kids just yelling and hoping in their chairs. I understand people can take their kids out but it was hard to have any conversation I was having with my significant other. I asked if we could be moved but all the seats (even the ones outside) were full. So that tells you how food the food is. I'd still recommend this place because it's one of the biggest servings of fish n chips I've ever had and it was amazing.

13/08/2026: Very friendly service and great food. I recommend the mussels, whose sauce is delicious, the calamari, and the fish.

15/07/2026: Had a wonderful experience here! The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was warm and relaxing, making it a perfect place to enjoy a meal. Excellent service, great food, and a lovely overall experience. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place!

31/08/2026: There were more staff than customers, and we waited over an hour for our food. No one even approached the guy next to us to take our order. The atmosphere was nice, and the food was average for the price. On the plus side, Chris, the waiter, realized something was wrong, came over, and fixed it – clearly the most organized of the team. Nice guy. Howder was very good.

30/08/2026: I really wanted to visit it. It was worth it. A legendary place for anyone visiting Cork.

12/07/2026: My cousins and I stayed at the hotel on Friday and had light bites and cocktails on the terrace. Everything was fab but really I’m only reviewing because our server Paudie genuinely made our evening, he was so fab! Paudie was so attentive and was great craic too. He really gave us such good service. Thank you Paudie!

08/07/2026: We just spent 5 nights in a River Suite. The Woodlands part of the property is a five star experience. The serene room design, large balcony and club lounge make this a perfect place for celebrating a special occasion or in our case having a quiet home base for exploring Cork and the surrounding areas. Every staff member we encountered was friendly. The service was excellent. You do not have to leave the property as they have a full service restaurant and bar both with panoramic views, fitness center, pool and spa.

16/07/2026: Absolutely terrible! The bartender and manager provided awful service. I don't recommend it. Plus, there was a rat in the bar.

16/08/2026: First visit to the Beer garden . We had the mini breakfast x 2 , not so mini. Vegetarian breakfast and the waffles. All the food was lovely and plenty of butter for the toast . The soda bread was fabulous.

31/08/2026: I'm very satisfied because my partner and I went for lunch and I ordered salmon without specifying that I'm lactose intolerant. When the dish arrived, I immediately realized my mistake because it was a cream sauce and I couldn't eat it. I explained this to the waitress, and she promptly offered me another salmon dish and asked how I wanted it prepared and what side dish I'd like. The new dish they served was delicious, perfectly cooked with vegetables and fries; in short, I loved it. The manager came to ask if everything was alright. Thank you for your kindness, professionalism, and all the attention we received. We'll be back soon.

27/07/2026: "The System is We like Over Price"!!! Bad value for money! Stealing from customers by over pricing and over charging customer's! Be careful what you order here! Their "System" is to over Charge you when you order a Irish Breakfast. I ordered a Irish Breakfast and asked what was in it before paying. My friend I was with ordered a Irish Breakfast and pointed out to me that the only thing different was a tomato that I got and he didn't. Then checking the receipt I realized I was over charged for a Full Breakfast which I didn't ask for anything extra or ask for any Full Breakfast just a Irish Breakfast and was over charged! I didn't say anything at the time of paying because I just thought it was inflation getting out of hand every day thing's is going up. But to my surprise this Cafe is Boosting Prices for what you order! When I complained the manager slipped up and admitted that their "System is to Over Price" is when You order a Irish Breakfast that they Charge You for a Full Irish Breakfast. Be careful!!! Ripoff Ireland is Back!

23/08/2026: Nice place, with good live music. Had the Cesar salad it was tasty and huge, for dessert we shared a brownie and a cheese cake, the brownie was my favorite.

21/08/2026: Really busy place but with credit to the staff we were seated straight away The food was served quickly, I had the chicken burger and it was really nice i would definitely eat here again
