Jacobs on the Mall
Cork
20/11/2025: Really nice experience. Fillet steak was fabulous. We had a large group and they looked after everyone really well.
13/11/2025: I plan and schedule monthly private dinners with my group of friends in Cork. Most of us loved our food and service was absolutely great, we loved our waiter. One of my friends however had an issue with her pasta, where it tasted overly salty to the point where she couldn’t finish it, we all tried it. Pretty sure something accidentally happened there but she relied on her side dish as her main meal. Otherwise would be back again!

The Kingsley
Cork
13/11/2025: A beautiful place located along the River Lee, with the added convenience of an underground car park. I stopped by the hotel bar with friends for a little break, and I would like to especially thank the Italian waiter (Adam, if I’m not mistaken), who spoke excellent French and offered us a warm welcome and impeccable service. Great coffee and delicious pastries on the top of it!
12/11/2025: Scenic views over the river Lee
Nice food but pricey

The Elm Tree
Cork
05/12/2025: Really beautiful meal for4 adults 2 children. Kids meal is great value and chicken goujons are real breast like you’d make at home. Hake salmon duck and burger all thoroughly enjoyed. Brownies and pavlova were divine but bannoffee was lacking on the caramel / toffee front. As it was really busy understandably service was a little slow and our drinks forgotten for over half an hour but there was a wonderful buzz and atmosphere and we’ll definitely return
Stunning Christmas decor too ☺️
04/12/2025: Staff are fantastic, food is 5 star and there's a great pint of stout

Mabel Crawford's Bistro, menu
Cork
11/12/2025: We enjoyed our stay apart from the noise from the corridor and parking lot, fluctuating water temperature and grumpy staff at breakfast.
11/12/2025: "I’ve stayed in quite a few hotels recently, but this one truly stands out. I felt most comfortable here. The hotel is perfect in every way, and the staff know exactly what they’re doing—they do it with genuine care and dedication."

CoMix Cafe Restaurant
Cork
03/10/2025: Perfect taste, lovely crew, you need to try traditional Rosół (Polish chicken soup) that will change your life 😉
28/09/2025: It's become a mess, literally a mess. I used to love going there because the food was delicious and worth the price. But recently – a disaster.
Three times in a row, that wasn't a coincidence. The broth is water. Tasteless, fatless, like yellow-tinged water with three noodles, and that's it. Pierogi cooked in unsalted water. Bland. You could hear the employees arguing in the back. Food remains on the floor under the tables from previous customers.
I'm sorry, but I'm giving up.

Quinlan's
Cork
11/11/2025: Well presented food. Chowder portions were incredibly small, though tasty enough. Fish and chips was tasteless. The curry sauce was the best!
10/11/2025: Arturo provides excellent service.

Tradehouse Central
Cork
17/11/2025: Lovely place with great service from the bar from George! Lovely gent very efficient and made a great drink
14/11/2025: Overall, I'd never visit again. For the cost the food was abysmal, the staff were perfectly pleasant and the place was clean and tidy.
I'd ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala. The rice reminded me of poorly made boil in the bag stuff, very watery and without flavour, the naan bread could have been used as a frisbee. The curry and chicken were nice enough but honestly for 18 euro it was awful.

Le Chateau
Cork
07/12/2025: At €7.40 for a pint of Heineken it's a disgrace a pub in Cork is selling a pint at this price. Tourist beware. Just because it is the only surviving pub on the main City Centre street and has a few outdoor chairs. Also notable that it is a historic building. That is no excuse for serving a pint in Cork City at that price. Especially with the reductions to the vinters this year. That is just blatant price gouging. Located on St Patrick's Street. Took my business else where and got less expensive. Two pints here is more then the average person makes from an hours wage. Disgraceful.
27/11/2025: Cosy pub. Nice atmosphere and good service.
