08/10/2024: Favorite chip shop of mine over more than a decade of visiting Cork on occasion. With that said my last visit a few weeks ago ended up with them giving me the wrong order that I did not realize was the case until long away from the shop. Chicken supper instead of the Cod Supper that I ordered. It was still good but it sad that I didn't get one last Cod Supper before they shut down for good this past weekend.
08/10/2024: We grew up with Brian and Duncan salt of the earth the fed the parish badly miss and the there sisters ladies omg they’re father Jackie mrs Lennox ❤️❤️

04/05/2025: Sábado por la tarde, solo dos empleados detrás de la barra es una broma. Reservamos una mesa de seis, en cola en el bar a la orden. En un momento dado había 15 personas esperando para ordenar. El personal del bar parecía desinteresado y se saltó nuestro grupo varias veces. Terminó marchándose. Experiencia muy decepcionante ya que el lugar siempre fue genial.
14/04/2025: Nice seating, nice environment but the quality of the food is very poor, the Caesar salad has no taste, the nachos are very far from nachos, the wings are undercooked big disappointment with the kitchen, sorry

29/04/2025: Had an incredible stay at the Montenotte Hotel – easily one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in Ireland. The views over Cork are stunning, the design is chic and inviting, and every detail has clearly been thought through. A special shout-out to Erin, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable – so warm, helpful, and professional. She truly made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Can’t wait to return!
28/04/2025: What a beautiful hotel in the City of Cork! My wife and I had a lovely stay. We really enjoyed the grounds and pool. Everyone was incredibly hospitable. Ken at the door had great recommendations!

25/05/2025: We waited over 40 minutes for a burger and some chicken wings, and the place wasn’t busy at all. No idea what took so long but would not recommend. Staff were nice but it was pretty annoying to look at them all just standing around when you’re left three quarters of an hour waiting on what you thought would be a quick bite.
The service rating isn’t a reflection on the floor staff, it’s just for the slow kitchen. Such a shame because it ruined what would otherwise have been an enjoyable experience.

26/04/2025: No vale la pena el dinero estaba aquí para el almuerzo de hoy la comida era solo mediocre para un hotel de 5 estrellas... las patatas fritas eran comestibles todo lo que podía probar era el aceite que el aceite necesita ser cambiado también el té no podía beberlo el sabor del agua y se cobró más de 5 euros por el té no volverá
19/04/2025: Great food and top service! One of the best spots in Cork. Always very welcoming and nice setting too. I do think the menu could be expanded though, could add burger or pasta maybe.

02/05/2025: We moved to cork about 4 months ago and tried a few of the chippers in the area, fellas was by far our favourite and the staff are so friendly. You can also tell who the owner is and how much he cares about the place from the first visit which is brilliant! The curry sauce is amazing and I’m very picky about my curry 😂 and the peri chicken and burgers are so tasty too! Definitely our go to

19/04/2025: The food was excellent staff amazing great atmosphere. I had pear blue cheese salad for starter and my wife had prawns both dishes excellent. We both had fish of the day just super and to finish we shared biscoff cheesecake try it it was just bloody fabulous
13/04/2025: This is a gem of a restaurant in Castletownbeare. The best fish pie I have ever had! And the prawn starter was delicious. Food and service was excellent. Great value for money. Highly recommend.

El propietario nos sirvió a mí y a un amigo una pinta de guinness y pedí un vaso de naranja diluida como se sirve aquí. La respuesta del propietario fue “¡Sabes que esto es un pub!” en un tono muy grosero, yo pensando que estaba jugando. Luego procedió a decirme “te daré este y ya no más”, aunque ya le había dicho que era el conductor designado. Él todavía procedió a lanzar mi bebida y alejarse. Absolutamente terrible actitud porque alguien está haciendo lo correcto y no conducir ebrio, pero puede dar un ataque de silbido porque está perdiendo un par de euros.
19/04/2025: 5.30pm 17/04/25. Bad customer service!My girlfriend ordered a vegan burger which was advertised with vegan mayo. The burger came and there was just the burger and onion, lettuce but didn't come with the mayo.We asked about the mayo to be told they hadn't got any. We asked for a refund as without the mayo it was a dry and not what was advertised. The manager was called and in an almost mocking tone said 'what? you won't eat it without the mayo??! No such thing as an apology for serving up something inedible and not what we ordered. Then she said 'you've eaten some of it' in a defensive manner to which we replied that she had only taken a bite and realised there was no mayo. She then literally turned her back on us walked away and just left us there and ignored us until we went to pay..then more or less threw the bill at us saying the burger had not been charged. Again no apology for my girlfriend having only been able to eat a bowl of chips for her meal. Awful customer service.
Don't advertise food options if you don't havethem.

11/03/2025: Terminó tirando todo lo que no fuera batido en el cubo. La salsa de curry parecía que había sido regurgitada. El conductor no tenía ni idea de dónde ir y tuvimos que ir a buscarlo. No malgastes tu dinero. Debería haber leído las críticas anteriores diciendo lo mismo
