04/04/2025: It was fantastic to have a dinner at Paddy the Farmer's, great vibes and music selection, the almon was juicy and cooked to perfection, thank you guys!

19/03/2025: Fab pub....First time in it on Friday...We'd just had a terrible experience in Crawfords and Co around the corner and the staff in paddy's were like a breath of fresh air....they we super accommodating on a very busy night. They were all really friendly and efficient....great live music on too....the food looks great, can't wait to get back to try that ....thanks for a great night guys...we'll be back soon.......I was back here again recently on St Patrick's day with 2 small kids. The staff could not have been more accommodating and friendly. Nothing seemed to phase them. They were all dressed up to celebrate. They had loads of entertainment on for kids and adults. We only happened upon it but we were delighted. Will be making a beeline for it next year. Thanks a mill guys. Oh and the food is always delicious.

26/03/2025: Love to pop in for lunch every time I’m around the area, easy parking in front of the place. Portions are massive, had about 4 times the pork schnitzel and another few times the Carbonara, which really fills you up. Great spot for a quick lunch while working.

06/04/2025: The hotel is stunning, the rooms are cozy and the staff is great, the food is also very tasty. You can enter the pool and the facilities of the spa only by prior reservation and only for a limited time, and the pool is not really warm... I gave four but I would have given 4.5 stars because of the hours of the spa and beautiful rooms but quite gray and not colorful that I lacked a little color. All in all this hotel is quite safe to book from and enjoy

13/04/2025: This place feels like one of those restaurants that has made a decision to get to the top spot on Tripadvisor by playing to the tourist (read American) crowd and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. It just feels a bit off. And while the customer service is superb, the food is pretty average, simple fare done well (aside from a rocket leaf salad obsession) but nothing to write home about in all honesty, so 4 out of 5 felt a fair compromise between service and the food.

31/03/2025: Went to the elm tree last night for my birthday, food was amazing and had a great night, only to get a phone call from my sister this morning to say she rang the restaurant last night to get a bottle of prosecco to be sent to my table only to be told , sorry we are too busy , how rude, to say I was upset was an understatement after leaving €250 for dinner and a few drinks ,they obviously don't need the money

06/04/2025: We got a Cod Dinner, burger and curry fries. It was amazing. They are located off the beaten path, but worth the trip.amazing food and very friendly service. We cannot recommend enough!

30/03/2025: Am a regular customer and the food is normally gorgeous but unfortunately in our last two orders the burgers were freezing! Would normally never make a complaint but is such a shame as it’s one of our favourite takeaways - but this has put me off.

12/04/2025: Came here for a Bottomless Brunch sitting outside. The food was phenomenal and the waitress Katie was amazing. So helpful and attentive. Could not have had a better experience!

04/03/2025: Absolutely wonderful. The food was fantastic, cooked to perfection. If I could give the service six stars I would. Beautifully decorated and nestled right beside the wonderful wild brook. We will most definitely be back, soon, I hope.

26/03/2025: Was so excited to try this place as it was my boyfriend’s birthday, ended up so disappointed. Our dishes came out within 5 minutes of ordering, too quick to be freshly cooked. The pasta I ordered was watery and tasteless, had all the signs of being reheated from frozen. We spent 24 minutes there in total, which I don’t think is normal in a restaurant after ordering 2 courses. Had to go and buy a pizza somewhere else after.

26/03/2025: Estaba tan emocionada de probar este lugar, ya que era el cumpleaños de mi novio, terminó tan decepcionada. Nuestros platos salieron a los 5 minutos de pedir, demasiado rápido para ser cocinado recién. La pasta que pedí era acuosa e insípida, tenía todos los signos de ser recalentada de congelada. Pasamos 24 minutos allí en total, lo que no me parece normal en un restaurante después de pedir 2 platos. Tuve que ir a comprar una pizza a otro lugar después.

09/03/2025: Really enjoyed our meal here. The portions are massive and the food was delicious. There were a good few vegetarian choices and the dessert was divine. Looking forward to dining here again.

11/02/2025: 'On a Platter' has been our go-to local shop for over a decade, and we couldn’t live without it! Kevin and the team are a special part of the community - always ready to greet you with a warm smile:) The deli food, catering, coffees, and cakes are all irresistible, and the kids love the ice cream and jellies! Thank you for being so amazing!
