11/11/2025: We enjoyed delicious cocktails made with peaty Connemara whisky, professionally prepared, and savored refined small plates of lamb and beef, as well as a delectable dessert. The price reflects the quality; I highly recommend it.

08/01/2026: Beautiful 5 star hotel outside of Cork City. 10 minutes drive to Cobh . We went here for a birthday celebration and it was fabulous and very relaxing. Definitely worth a visit. Also the spa was incredible

07/01/2026: After a busing Christmas we stayed in fota for 2 nights. The resort is in a great location, service was top class and the food could not be faulted. From the moment we stepped in we were made feel welcome. The door man Michael I think it was really made our trip. So welcoming every time and very helpful and informative. We stayed in a double room. Very spacious. The bathroom is spotless and the cleaners did a stellar job. We enjoyed our stay so much we extended for a day. The price quoted at reception was quite a bit more expensive than booking on hotels.com or bookings.com. We said this to them and they matched the price instantly. Very happy with all interactions.

18/01/2026: Great place to have large and smaller gatherings. Very welcoming staff and lovely food. Parking very handy. Pity there is no wheelchair accessible toilet..

16/01/2026: The white horse is a fantastic place to visit for food great music. Great atmosphere.

31/01/2026: Lovely atmosphere mixed age customers, found it a bit cold at the start but got warmer as the place filled up. We had a great time there and the food was just perfect. Grate place for a girls/lads night out no loud music a place for talk.

06/01/2026: Sober Lane is a fantastic spot with a lively but relaxed atmosphere. The food is really good, especially the comfort-style dishes, and the drinks selection is solid. It’s a great place to meet friends, enjoy a meal, or unwind with a few drinks. Friendly staff and a nice vibe make it a place worth coming back to. 🍻🍔

23/11/2025: Wow. What can I say. Amazing service. Literally looked after from the muinet we walked in the door as was ever other customer. Nothing was too much for the staff. Food was also so tasty. Would definitely recommend 100%.

08/02/2026: A great lunchtime find in the heart of Cork City. Perfect option for lunch with excellent choices for all appetites and maritime tastes. We settled on superb crab rolls, and a spicy seafood pasta which did not disappoint - with a mid-range bottle of wine. Even though one of our choices was just a starter we left pretty stuffed. It was a little quite, our lunch was late so probably missed any lunchtime rush - but the friendly service from Ellen and Ujin was great, both knew the menu and were able to guide us through and give some great local tips to enjoy Cork - top of our list for next visit, can't wait to try the chowder!....

31/01/2026: Back to my old town after many years in Dublin and find a very average pub with prices way beyond Dublin. What the? We were on our way to spend a good wedge at Paradiso. Did not expect the level of pint expense in Cork. Francisan Well even more so?! Talking a Carlsberg and Smithwicks. Crazy prices. Used to be a student up the road. Can't imagine where they go nowadays.

26/01/2026: Very tasty meal, I had the salmon which was cooked and presented well, with nice potato cake and vegetables with a lovely sauce. The service was very attentive from the waitress and the Barman.

26/01/2026: Lovely ambience. We went for Sunday lunch and there was a mixed age group of clientele - couples to large family groups. The staff were very attentive and our food arrived promptly and piping hot. The portions are very generous! We just about managed to clear our plates (but still had room for a dessert!) 🤭

18/12/2025: As always food was tasty and had soul,simple and just cooked on point. If your vegetarian your goosed!! Lovely service if a little disjointed at the end of our meal which is understandable with tables coming in and tables leaving but it's such a relaxing room and somewhere u can enjoy your meal in peace.its bloody hard to run a restaurant and for isaces to be doing it so long and successfully it's a credit to everyone involved..bravo 👏

24/11/2025: The acoustics are terrible - you leave with hives from the noise. But the food is good and the staff is great. So a very mixed experience.

22/12/2025: Was there last night for a birthday meal in the booth. gave 5 stars for the room but only used the restaurant. Have stayed in the hotel before so I know it’s great. The Mabel Crawford Bistro is beautiful, fantastic food and even better staff. 10/10 can’t wait to go back

29/10/2025: Good atmosphere! The resident cocktail maker was not present but the fella behind the bar did his best and produced some top quality cocktails for us. Staff are incredibly sound.

25/02/2026: Just back from the most fantastic weekend after staying in the Woodland Suites for two nights. The staff were amazing and could not have been more attentive and friendly. It is pricey but worth it and we both felt very relaxed after such a short space of time. Would highly recommend.

16/02/2026: Quite possibly the best hotel we have stayed in. The service was exceptional from the start. Amazing rooms, comfy bed, sauna and pool. Every person we spoke to couldn't do more for us. Felt like 5 star service. Great food, drinks and breakfast. Cannot recommend highly enough
