05/11/2025: Have been here a few times,always an enjoyable experience, nice selection of food on menu,plenty of gluten free options,the staff are brilliant ,nothing was too much trouble, one of kilkennys best restaurants .
30/10/2025: 7 of us went in on a Wednesday night to a full house, great to see. Service was excellent and the featherblade of beef just melt in your mouth, fabulous. Will be back again soon.

22/09/2025: Can't at 6pm on a Monday night. Not to hungry do I got the chowder and it was absolutely delicious, and a2 person band playing authentic Irish music so this place gets a 5.0
20/09/2025: Staff 100%. Racist, homophonic bouncers. I will never recommend this place. People on the door disgraceful. Bouncers saw me and my boyfriend holding hands and said we were drunk to get in.

13/10/2025: The best pub in Kilkenny. Spent a few hours with some locals there. The best group and lots of fun. Best Guiness to be had there. Didn't eat there. Don't know if they have food.
19/06/2025: Exceptional bar, you go to the corner and smoke, you feel like you're smoking a cigarette in your aunt's garden. The pool table is free, just don't mention it to the waitress.

The Lime Tree cafe & restaurant

Pet friendly at the back of the cafe: this is outside.
They serve a wide range of options, such as dinner, sandwiches and deserts. They also serve Gluten-free, thank you.
We visited on two separate occasions with our two furry friends (dogs). The food was amazing and the coffee is very good. And to complete a great service, they do takeaway.
I highly recommend a visit. The warm reception by the manager, is refreshing. Unfortunately, I never received his name. He was welcoming, professional, helpful and friendly. We had a lovely visit on two occasions.

28/10/2025: We had a lovely experience in this restaurant. The place is well-located in the heart of the town. It is very spacious but it does not compromise the cozy vibe the restaurant gives. The breakfast we ordered was absolutely divine (those rashers were amazing!) Last but not least, the staff were just so friendly. We were just happily eating all the way. Definitely coming back!

13/10/2025: We have been going to the Orchard for the past number of years and love it!! The service is usually very good and food is fantastic especially the fajitas and roasts. They seem to have changed the menu in the past few weeks and the chicken wrap is no longer on it... it was lovely, slightly disappointed with that. I would recommend them bringing it back as it was delicious.
08/10/2025: We had a veggie fajita to share and it was probably one of the nicest I've ever had.

07/10/2025: A lovely cafe on the banks of the Barrow. We sat out and had coffee and scones, watching the world go by on the river. Nicest scones we’ve had for a long time. Friendly staff too.
