03/06/2025: Cute and clearly popular cafe! I thought it was very cool and sustainable that they focused on using Ireland-produced/grown ingredients on their menu. I had been craving a scone with cream and jam all day... did not disappoint! Scone was served warm and cream came fresh in a little jar. My parents ordered meals and were very satisfied. Our server was very kind and my dad ended up having a good chat with the staff for a bit. Well-known for good reasons :)

11/05/2025: We took a day trip to the Kilkenny region and visited the Bollard Bar. We sat outside. I had two local beers from Sullivan's that tasted good. My girlfriend had a glass of white wine and an Irish coffee. The service was very friendly and the prices were moderate for Irish standards.

24/05/2025: El gerente nos apretó en un sábado por la noche muy ocupado. Grazie. Deliciosa pizza de corteza masticable (pruebe la nduja picante) y una pasta amatriciana robustamente salsada (pida más al dente). Y precios decentes para los estándares actuales. Una pizza muy llena y un plato de pasta y una botella de pinot grigio rondaba los 60 euros.

18/06/2025: Lovely, quaint pub. We were greeted politely and given a good table by the window. The service was friendly and efficient. Unfortunately, the salt was completely forgotten in the fish and chips, which tasted very bland. The sausages were good.

29/05/2025: This bar was seriously cool. Such a unique vibe and absolutely stunning inside. Every detail felt thoughtfully designed, from the lighting to the decor. The atmosphere was relaxed but lively, and the drinks were just as impressive as the space. One of those places you walk into and instantly want to stay for hours. Loved it!

I had an amazing stay at the Glendine Inn. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a charming old-world character that adds to its appeal. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure everything was perfect throughout my visit. My room was clean, cozy, and comfortable — exactly what I needed after a long day exploring Kilkenny. The bar downstairs has great local vibes and serves up a good pint too! Great value for money and just a short walk from the city centre. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a genuine Irish experience.
23/05/2025: We had lunch there today and the food was horrible. The chips were raw and old, just reheated. The "fresh cod" looked more like a fish finger and the service was below any standard ( The lady who was making the coffee and served us could sour milk). For 16.90 EUR I would have expected at least decent chips...The only edible thing were the chicken coujons. We would not return.

Food was not great ! Especially for the price. McDonalds would have been a better option.
Big giveaway is the floors are really sticky ! I should have listens to myself and turned around and walked out . But I have the benefit of the doubt. The staff were lovely and courteous. Food horrendous.
28/05/2025: Bread was gone off price per portion was outrageous pints were Scadlous I paid 24 euro for about 6 bites of steak over cooked with a single slice of bread wouldn’t even consider it a sandwich on top of deli paper the height of unprofessionalism

19/10/2024: D'un point de vue français la façade ferait presque fuir (comme souvent en Irlande) mais il faut pousser la porte, c'est juste parfait à tous points de vue, ambiance, cuisine, rien à redire. J'ai fait beaucoup de pubs / restaurants en Irlande, celui-ci fait partie de mes préférés.

04/06/2025: Nice hotel in the city in kilkenny. Its bigger from the inside than it looks from the outside. Restaurant is also available. Service are very nice. Free carpark as well.. I could even leave my car till I was finish with work, what is a plus. Room are very clean and the matress are very good. Everything u need is there.
