12/12/2025: If I could give a review lower I would. The bouncers took one look at my ID and turned me away for not being 21 the place was an 18 plus venue and Instagram posts suggested this. I suspect this was due to me carrying a if from the north…..its a shame like people like this are still common

15/12/2025: This place is awful. The food is terrible, service is worse and it's expensive. We ordered the burger and vol au vent and they were horrible. The salads are bland and disgusting. The server was rude, clueles and didn't even know what lager beer was, so we drank water. Please avoid this place. It was just horrible. I made sure to tell our tour guide never to recommend this place again. In fact, don't bother going to Kilkenny at all. It's not worth it.

06/12/2025: Full irish breakfast, was with wife and daughter we all enjoyed the food, large table in corner, staff very friendly and polite!

13/10/2025: We have been going to the Orchard for the past number of years and love it!! The service is usually very good and food is fantastic especially the fajitas and roasts. They seem to have changed the menu in the past few weeks and the chicken wrap is no longer on it... it was lovely, slightly disappointed with that. I would recommend them bringing it back as it was delicious.

29/12/2025: One of the best pubs in Kilkenny, without a doubt. I’m visiting the city and wanted to experience the best pubs around, and this place truly stands out. The atmosphere is great, but what really makes it special is the service. I was genuinely amazed by how smoothly and professionally everything is handled at the bar. A special shout-out to Adam, he is absolutely fantastic at what he doe, he truly elevates the entire experience. People like him are what make a place world-class. Cheers to Adam and the wonderful way he serves customers. Kudos to him! Attaching some of his skills. Love to visit this place again, just because of the service.

23/12/2025: Really good food and drinks in a cool atmosphere. Took a long time to get service or have anyone take our orders but otherwise very good!

17/11/2025: A great place for a pint near the train station. The staff was very kind and open, so that's a plus, and the price was totally fine.

27/10/2025: best pub i’ve been to in Ireland so far. Bartender was great, the regulars were so kind, and a great pint of guinness. nothing beats sitting next to the fire and watching curling. highly recommend

07/10/2025: A lovely cafe on the banks of the Barrow. We sat out and had coffee and scones, watching the world go by on the river. Nicest scones we’ve had for a long time. Friendly staff too.

20/09/2025: Service and vibe are nice. But unfortunately we got a heavy FOOD POISONING after eating burgers in this place (15.09).

11/11/2025: Only there for evening meals and drinks. Some nice cozy corners. Very friendly and engaging staff - very welcoming. Kind of slow mid-week so it felt spacious and quiet.
