13/10/2025: The best pub in Kilkenny. Spent a few hours with some locals there. The best group and lots of fun. Best Guiness to be had there. Didn't eat there. Don't know if they have food.
19/06/2025: Exceptional bar, you go to the corner and smoke, you feel like you're smoking a cigarette in your aunt's garden. The pool table is free, just don't mention it to the waitress.

The Lime Tree cafe & restaurant

Pet friendly at the back of the cafe: this is outside.
They serve a wide range of options, such as dinner, sandwiches and deserts. They also serve Gluten-free, thank you.
We visited on two separate occasions with our two furry friends (dogs). The food was amazing and the coffee is very good. And to complete a great service, they do takeaway.
I highly recommend a visit. The warm reception by the manager, is refreshing. Unfortunately, I never received his name. He was welcoming, professional, helpful and friendly. We had a lovely visit on two occasions.

17/11/2025: A great place to have dinner and a beer. The food is delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful. The pub is housed in an old building connected to the story of Alice, who was declared a witch. You can read about her story on the back of the menu.

13/10/2025: We have been going to the Orchard for the past number of years and love it!! The service is usually very good and food is fantastic especially the fajitas and roasts. They seem to have changed the menu in the past few weeks and the chicken wrap is no longer on it... it was lovely, slightly disappointed with that. I would recommend them bringing it back as it was delicious.
08/10/2025: We had a veggie fajita to share and it was probably one of the nicest I've ever had.

29/11/2025: Interesting place. We chatted with an Italian waitress who recommended some typical dishes and told us about Kilkenny's Italian community.
The atmosphere is unique, the concept is one-of-a-kind, and it's worth a visit. I wasn't thrilled with the sandwich I ate, but the beer was good, and I was satisfied. Stop by!
24/11/2025: Left Bank is a very cozy place, we had a great Irish coffee and enjoyed a beautiful Christmas atmosphere. Ask for Giorgia she’s a kind and joyful person!
