20/03/2025: They have a dedicated vegan menu, you just have to ask for it. The veggie steak I got was delicious (it’s under the tomatoes and bigger than it looks here) and came with fries (I believe you have the choice between sweet potato & regular) & a salad, making it a well-rounded meal. My only suggestion would be to advertise the vegan menu more, like maybe a little ‘vegan-friendly’ sticker on the door. But Happy Cow got me here, and I’m really glad it did.

19/03/2025: Absolutely awesome place to eat, chill, and listen to music! Had the steak, it was pretty good, great peppercorn sauce to go with it tho, along with the mashed potatoes. The fried brie cheese was also a big highlight. Had a couple guys there singing and playing live music, and I just can't speak more highly of them. Will remember this nite for a long while! Service was attentive too! 5 stars all around!!!

19/10/2024: D'un point de vue français la façade ferait presque fuir (comme souvent en Irlande) mais il faut pousser la porte, c'est juste parfait à tous points de vue, ambiance, cuisine, rien à redire. J'ai fait beaucoup de pubs / restaurants en Irlande, celui-ci fait partie de mes préférés.

20/01/2025: We stumbled upon this cozy and friendly bar our first night in Ireland. We are American and were looking for a place to watch the American Football game. This bar had it on the TV towards the back. Although I can't speak to the food we did have some wonderful drinks and entertainment. We ordered a smith, a Guiness and plenty of Jameson gingers. All the drinks were great, but what made the experience was the live entertainment and the patrons of this bar. The patrons seemed to consist of many regulars or friends of the regulars. We met Charlie the bartender who was so kind to everyone including us. He took the time to talk to me about our trip and showed sympathy about the current political climate in the US. We also met other travelers and now have new friends. I recommend this bar if you are passing through Kilkenny and I hope to go back one day.

18/03/2025: Our favorite pub for dinner and live music. I recommend the lamb stew for those cold days to warm you up.

03/01/2025: Came for breakfast here both mornings we started in Westport. The owner remembered us the second morning and was a lovely man. Breakfast was gorgeous- porridge, boxty, scone aswell as the tea and coffees

07/03/2025: Nos quedamos impresionados con el agradable entorno casual de este restaurante. Este restaurante tiene precios razonables y un menú que satisfaría varias preferencias dietéticas, incluyendo vegetariana y vegana. La lasaña de ternera al horno era deliciosa y contenía sabrosa salsa boloñesa, mozzarella y parmesano fresco, pan de ajo servido. Disfrutamos de la comida y apreciamos el personal por el buen servicio.

25/01/2025: Garlic bread and carbonara were delicious but the crunchie cheesecake was a let down for me but I'd definitely go again for the carbonara and garlic bread

12/03/2025: Can’t review the bar as no one in our group was left in the door Went up with a friend , both well dress and in our mid forties , bouncers just said “leave it off tonight lads “ we weren’t drunk as we had just headed out Watched for a few minutes and they seemed to be stopping everyone , fellas , couples , mixed groups or all ages etc It’s a wonder anyone gets left in

12/03/2025: The food was absolutely delicious! The waitstaff was courteous and very accommodating. The atmosphere was incredible, impressive artwork, fine furniture with beautiful wooden alcoves for separate parties. Had a lovely fire place. Great areas for families or singles. A true gem of Ireland and of course Kilkenny.

16/01/2025: Had quick lunch here on a friends recommendation and the veg soup was really lovely! Pipping hot and served with choice of roll or brown bread, plenty of seating in the bar!

31/12/2024: Vinimos a la posada Glendine para cenar después de un día en Kilkenny y tengo que decir que la comida era excelente y brillante relación calidad-precio. El personal era muy amable y agradable y no podía hacer más por nosotros y mi hijo pequeño. Ella era bastante quisquilloso con la comida y nos dieron un montón de opciones para ayudarnos, bajaron con piruletas al final de nuestra cena. Sin duda volvería. Sin duda era un restaurante familiar que es difícil de encontrar.
