05/06/2025: We got got to experience what a true Irish pub is like. Melisa and Martha’s hospitality alone is worth our return. The environment was perfect (and clean). The best bonus is THE FOOD!!! The best food we ate in all of Ireland! I wanted to finish my plate so I could get a cheer from Melisa, but the space I needed for the Banoffee Pie was more important!! Waterford will always be on our itinerary solely because of The Grattan Bar!

05/06/2025: First of all, the hosts are just simply brilliant , second, food that they make is delicious . I had a prawns salad, and it was just great. Very friendly atmosphere , would recommend it 100%

21/06/2025: Ordered the guinness and beef hot pot. The portion was generous and so delicious. Ordered a gingerman draft lager to pair with it, and was even better! Totally recommend paying a visit.

01/07/2025: Mushroom soup yummy and wholesome, pints of Guinness zero perfectly poured with care, Amy then recommended the Sticky Toffee Pudding without hesitation. Im not going straight to heaven anyways but this was sinfully finger licking delicious and I was then treated to the best Calypso coffee I have ever tasted. I've eaten here the last two days and all the food and staff are first class but in a country that has somewhat lost its cead mile failte je ne sais quoi, it is such a delight to watch someone so absolutely deadly at their job. The lady from Croyden is a gem and The Local and Dungarvan are lucky to have Amy and all the crew at The Local. Greatly appreciated by myself and Buddy.

01/07/2025: The burgers were burnt to bits. The chips were reheated. The donuts were like rocks, could literally break a window with them. Everything thrown into the black bin in a FLASH

26/06/2025: It's a giant high quality media display of the history of Guinness. It was wonderful and the gravity bar was really spectacular. One caveat - it was crazy busy

30/05/2025: Great little cafe. Good service and even better food. Soup and bread was traditional and outstanding! Soup perfect and brown bread warm and perfect. Able to eat outside!! Staff warm and welcoming. Lovely town too! Great town to enjoy a wonderful day!

30/06/2025: 🌟🌟🌟🌟☆ Great spot in the heart of the Viking Triangle — stylish, historic, and lively I really enjoyed my time at The Reg in Waterford. The venue is full of character, divided into smaller parlour-style areas that make it perfect for private events or cosy drinks with friends. It's got that nice blend of modern energy and historic charm, right beside Reginald’s Tower. The cocktails were refreshing and well-made, and the food was tasty and well-presented. The whole place has a great vibe, and the live music added a lovely touch — it really brought the place to life without being overwhelming. The staff were courteous and professional. I wouldn’t say they were overly warm — at times, it felt like they were wondering “gosh, are you still here?” — but nothing that ruined the experience.

13/07/2025: Really nice hotel...old fashioned charm and service...stayed on a DBB package and ate in the Bianconi restaurant each evening...food and service were excellent. Hotel presented us with a voucher as part of our package...giving us free access into the main attractions in Waterford...including a factory tour at the Waterford Crystal factory..

11/07/2025: Fiona, Fionn, Jasmine, Ava, and the entire team at The Granville are a staunch reminder that the hospitality soul in Ireland is above the rest. The hotel itself is LOVELY, perfectly situated for walking to shops, popping out for dinner (or staying in) and has beautiful views from the room. 35 minutes from the Mahon Falls, directly on the Greenway (amazing bike/walking trail +94 miles total), and 25 minutes from the beach, what’s not to love! What sets the Granville apart from any other hotel in the USA is their attention to detail, kindness, and openheartedness. Everyone we met, from the F&B team, to the housekeeping team in the halls, to the lovely crew at the front desk, we were delighted to be greeted like on of their family. They are a green hotel, so all throughout the room are tips and tricks on how to be a more eco-conscious traveler, as well as info on what TGH is doing to reduce their carbon footprint. If you like big box hotels, this isn’t the place for you. I WILL be booking again, and would encourage everyone to do the same - you will not be disappointed.

15/06/2025: One of my first choices in Waterford for lunch. I ve never got a bad meal here no matter what I choose. Most options allow a ' half dinner' reduced price choice. Free diluted squashes with your meal. Toilets nice and clean ( I always think that's a reflection of kitchen standards too). Friendly service. Easy parking straight ourside. Heartily recommend.

17/05/2025: This was the worst meal my parents have ever had. All the food was uncooked and old/raw. They couldn't believe how terrible the food was. They could only eat 1/4 of the meal. Terrible! The service was nonexistent.
