06/12/2025: I really enjoyed my time at Waterford Grattan Bar. The food was genuinely delicious, and the bar team showed fantastic hospitality from start to finish. A warm, welcoming place that I’d happily recommend to anyone visiting Waterford.

23/11/2025: Wonderful find! Our party of 4 was in Waterford enjoying Winterval and wanted some good pub food, specifically fish and chips. A quick search led us to Grattan Bar. The ambience was lovely, the service excellent, and the food exceptional. We had 2 of the fish and chips, one bacon and cabbage, and one seafood chowder. The portions were generous and the quality outstanding. We were there at mid-afternoon, and it was a welcome, comfortable, relaxing break. Definitely a place to return to!

08/11/2025: I attended a workshop close by Momo's restaurant and our lunch was supplied prepared and hand delivered to us by Momo's. Delicious.

29/11/2025: Went to Shamrock for breakfast and lunch two days in a row because it’s that good. Great portion sizes, good value, friendly owners, and the fish and chips are excellent, the fish is so fresh. I’ll definitely be making a return!

21/11/2025: Without question, the Shamrock has the best breakfast/fry up in Dungarvan and an excellent menu overall. The staff are always absolutely lovely and the atmosphere is always comfortable and welcoming. On many a day, a chat with a few locals is often likely and it's always a pleasure. Excellent food, lovely place and one of the nicest places to spend some time. A must for anyone passing through and a lovely treat if you're local.

21/10/2025: Went today solo , yummy good portion of fish and chip, nice bar and bartenders, attentive polite service , very very clean and bathrooms spotless and very cute Halloween decor . Will deffo come again fair play to the staff

09/12/2025: Very nice hotel and friendly staff I haven't stayed at this hotel but I do like it the staff in the bar are very helpful and nice it's great location the only thing I didn't like was that there is no leisure centre in the hotel it would suit the hotel great if it had room for a leisure centre and a swimming pools steam rooms etc the hotels in waterford city that do have a pool do not do a day pass for other hotels and that's a very big disappointment.

01/11/2025: Stopped in Vee Cafe for a quick breakfast/brunch during the half term and it was superb. Despite being absolutely rammed the staff were attentive and speedy in taking our order and answering questions. The food itself took time to arrive, understandably given that every table was full once we sat down. We had the peanut butter porridge, a full breakfast, and a half breakfast all of which were excellent verging on perfect I have to say in all aspects: taste, presentation and value.

28/10/2025: Service was very slow. They had no white bread left and the toasted ham and cheese sandwich was also sold out at 2pm on a Tuesday afternoon. Coffee (Americano) was weak and didn't taste good. Pancakes (2 of us ordered the Canadian Stack) tasted like they were made from a mix. Crispy bacon was nice. Maple syrup, good but scarce. We were seated by the door, and it was freezing as it was left open by most people going in and out. I asked if we could be moved as there was a larger table further back. Server said they might need that if a larger group came in, so basically we were less important than customers who hadn't even materialised!! They don't care about repeat custom maybe? We are disappointed as we love going to the Seagull Bakery and wanted to try this place out as its so nearby. We won't be going back.

02/12/2025: Enjoyed a birthday party in the bar here. The food was amazing and the bar staff were very accommodating and friendly. Everyone had a ball 🎊 We look forward to coming back!

02/12/2025: Good environment, but huge lack of wish in serving people. I got there 1h (20:30, Google says 21:30, and this information is provided by the restaurant) before closing and the server told me that the restaurant would close in few minutes...

01/11/2025: I had a blue cheese burger with caramelised onions ,salad and chips. The caramelised onions did not taste like caramelised onions ,the chips were mediocre and not too hot. The miserable bit of salad that accompanied the burger consisted of a watery tomato.and a few leaves.I know it was very busy on Friday 31st October. I won't be returning in.a hurry for the food.I must say the staff were wonderful and very helpful.

11/12/2025: My son and I had the most beautiful dinner today in Lizzie Briens, ,every thing was perfect and so fresh, really home made cooking at its best, we also got dessert which was also homemade and so delicious. I would highly recommend this amazing restaurant and can’t wait to return again if ever in Lismore. 10 out of 10 for everything, service, food and friendly staff.

05/08/2025: The most amazing service and staff. They cater to everyone and even offer smaller portions which is amazing. Food is amazing and price is very reasonable. Serious wouldn't go past it even for a coffee and scone well worth a visit.
