03/01/2025: The place is just wonderful. We went because they have Irish Stew in the menu. Right away we felt we as if we were family. The atmosphere was family friendly and the staff were amazing. Great hospitality. The Stew is the best I have had since being in country (sampled five others from Waterford to Sligo, to Cork and Londonderry) and I plan to visit again tomorrow!

30/12/2024: Wonderful place. The food is exquisite, with an explosion of flavors that exceeds any expectation. I recommend the pulled pork blaa and the slow cooked rib.
In addition, the staff is also 10, very well prepared and always attentive.
100% recommended, without a doubt, I will return.
18/12/2024: Simply stunning....the atmosphere, the staff were just wonderful and the food was just unreal, clean , fresh flavours and every taste was an explosion of flavours but what really surprise me was the unbelievable value for money 20/10

16/12/2024: The food I had here was the worst I have ever eaten. I had a burger which came as two patties and tasted like the cheapest burger you could get. Why would you want two patties when you order one burger? I only ate a few bites and left the rest. The bun fell apart and was tasteless as was the salad. The chips were soggy with fat and inedible. It’s all about quantity no quality. And at 18 euros I would expect some quality. It’s a complete rip off.

10/01/2025: I only had takeaway lunch ( roast of the day) which was good value for money. Defrosted veggies, mash and gravy from powder- pretty much the standard you get everywhere, nothing outstanding. Service was friendly and quick. Place was packed ( Christmas week) and the decor and atmosphere are great.

01/01/2025: Everett’s in Waterford was the perfect spot for our New Year’s Eve dinner. From the warm, welcoming staff to the cozy yet elegant atmosphere, everything felt just right for the occasion.
The food was the highlight. My starter—a crab dish with mango and cucumber—was light and refreshing, while the venison main was tender and flavorful, paired with rich sides like black pudding and creamy mash. Dessert, a parfait with poached pear and custard, was the perfect sweet finish.
The wine list was well-curated, and the staff were great at helping us find the perfect pairing. Overall, Everett’s delivered a relaxed yet refined dining experience, making it a great choice for a special night out.
17/12/2024: Excellent fine dining experience with a menu on offer to tantalise even the most discerning palate. Every dish was packed full of flavour and beautifully presented . They say you get what you pay for and at Everett’s you won’t be disappointed because every dish is a signature dish. The only caveat i would add is turn the lighting down for a more cosy atmosphere.

09/01/2025: Heard good things about the local so thought I would give it a go .
Really nice atmosphere as I stepped in from the freezing temperatures and the pub was busy for an early Thursday evening .
Ordered a Heineken, ordered the Mexican burger with a wine .
Burger was great as were the home cooked chips and drinks were good .
Certain places I visit I don’t feel relaxed or welcomed when working away but what a breath of fresh air here.
Thank you team for a lovely experience and I will probably come back tomorrow as it was that nice
02/01/2025: Stopped off in Dungarvan on our way from cork to Wexford. Went to the local for lunch. It was very busy which speaks for itself. Service was exceptionally good even though it was packed. The food was gorgeous . The pub itself is devine and we would love to have stayed all evening. Will be back

04/01/2025: I am writing this review on behalf of my mother and her three friends who stayed over the New Year for four nights and said that the experience was excellent from start to finish , hotel , destination , staff and food were of an excellent standard and they will definitely be back and would recommend a stay to anybody visiting Waterford , thanks for having us , Maureen Hannigan , Maureen O Connor , Betty Kavanagh & Patty Hooper

30/12/2024: The food was absolutely awful, On Sunday 29th December 2024, A child could make a better dinner. Then to top it off, I was left to wait for ten minutes at the bar, while the tender was stacking dishes, she clearly noticed me waiting, only to be given bad manners and service by her. I was absolutely astonished by this. My wife and I, had taken my parents to this establishment, as they often frequent it.
Shocking behaviour.
Our waitress Cara, was lovely though, she was very nice and attentive, we left her a tip, as it wasn't her fault.
I would highly recommend going elsewhere.
23/12/2024: Food was great, staff were lovely but the draft blowing in through the bar area had me shivering.

14/09/2024: Some restaurants serve good food and others have great decor or good service. But the Pier Cafe is blessed with all tree bound together by an amazing ambiance. We had a wonderful dining experience here with great food and attentive service. There's such a buzz here, it's great. Sarah, front of house, expertly makes the restaurant run like clockwork and is so personable. We had the prawn Dahl and duck salad for starters followed by entrecôte steak and beef ribs. Faultless. It's really great value for money and a most memorable experience.

08/01/2025: I wanted some poached eggs and the polish woman working in the Shamrock was so rude about not making them because they were literally just done breakfast but id been sitting with ten minutes while breakfast was still being served before my order was taken, I was happy to have them with chips but noway, she caused a scene and made me very uncomfortable so I left.

28/12/2024: Small bar man with glasses is up there with the most rude I’ve ever met. Asked to order food and shouted at me that I couldn’t order until I got a seat. First time in the bar didn’t know the rules to be quite honest. Wouldn’t recommend.
23/11/2024: Absolutely Horrible Management interaction and experience in this premises. Ignorant, arrogant, disrespectful and age discriminational attitude towards customers. Unprofessional, very rude, intimidating bouncers. Management is how businesses organizes and directs workflow, operations & employees, and to not show the arrogance & terrible service.
