Seasons Restaurant

Wexford
30/06/2026: Another delicious meal at the Whitford, family occasion, just 4 of us, we didn't book but luckily got a table, late Saturday afternoon, there were a number of large groups doing likewise so the staff were very busy but friendly and efficient as always. The sticky toffee pudding and the strawberry daiquiri were top notch, sadly no featherblade steak on the menu this time but enjoyed the double burger, my husband was very happy with his monkfish scampi, the others got sizzling prawns and blackened salmon, all very tasty and good size portions as always. Looking forward to our next visit.

Mossel Bay @ Courtown Golf Club

Courtown
08/07/2026: Always a gem. Long tree lined fairways and excellent greens . Great views and some picture postcard tee boxes Right beside the beach but is a parkland course all day long. Par 3s are all long and will challenge your scoring. 18th is 150yrds over water to finish. Good chipping area and driving range. Good bar restaurant and parking. Course in super condition and always a treat to play. Well done Courtown for this unheralded gem of the Wexford coast
29/06/2026: Played last week with a member in the open competition. Its a proper members course. Small pro shop, great welcome and very friendly members. First hole is a nice entry, after this the entire course has elevation changes on every hole. I was shocked at the amount of undulations on the course. No hole is similar and there are fantastic variety and stunning views. It is a course you will need to play a number of times to get familiar with the green complexes. It is a tough course that requires good course management. The par threes are very strong. There is no real weak hole on the course, the greens are quite small and missing these get heavily punished. The course was in fanatasitc condition. Although i had a poor score i will be back for the challenge again. Recognition must be given to the staff and greenkeeper teams, they have the place in excellent condition.

The Coach House

Gorey
11/07/2026: Gluten free menu. Salt and chilli chicken and prawn were very tasty. Family friendly casual option. Staff were excellent.
29/06/2026: Well, what can I say? There was no food because the owner wasn't there. Based on the other reviews, they should consider hiring a sous-chef, considering how often the owner is absent, or perhaps they're not dependent on the business. Therefore, I can only give two stars, as the only positive aspect was the waiter, who was friendly. I would perhaps change the sign and remove the "Good Food" part.
