The best restaurantsof irish in Wexford

16/08/2026: I was attending a wedding in a nearby hotel and booked two nights, with a steak dinner which was 50 euro extra. I wasnt told the details of the dinner and when it came to it, I could only choose one side with my main, which I thought was mean, just make the dinner a dinner no extra payment, two sides, chips and veg, .... easy... I had to pay I think 5 euro for some carrots. kinda spoiled the experience, and also when I asked the waiter what was included he kept insisting it was a three course meal, starter , main and tea or coffee. when I asked again he said the same, and it wasn't until I asked to speak with a manager, I was told that desert was included. overall the hotel was fine, the Guinness on tap from the bar was almost undrinkable though, unusually bad!

09/06/2026: Great location in Gorey, and as a base for trips around Wexford. Just minutes from Courtown Harbour. Nice big room, water, tea and coffee in the room, third time visiting, nice pool, would come back, A+

13/05/2026: Very good cafeteria. A great place to take a break during your visit. Very friendly staff.

31/03/2026: Delicious food made with fresh ingredients. The service was very friendly, and despite the large number of guests, the food arrived quickly. The coffee was outstanding.

14/06/2026: My partner and I called here for Sunday lunch today. I can honestly say it was the worst food we ever had. We sent back the fish as it was a mass of lumpy gunk and swapped for featherblade beef and this was even worse. The mash was in fact instant smash and mixed frozen veg. I ordered the Seafood Chowder which was what I can only describe as a bowl of vomit. Everything was from a packet. Our bottle of Pinot was a cheap bottle from the petrol station. The manager offered us dessert by way of compensation after we paid for our meal, which we obviously declined. So dissapointing...don't waste yoir precious leisure time or hard earned money.

04/04/2026: It was everything we could have asked for. The breakfast was delicious and the the fireplace was my favorite part. Love this place.

12/08/2026: We sailed to Pembroke from Rosslare, it was busy on check-in but we had got an email telling us this. Staff were lovely. We boarded and exchanged the car key for the key to the cabin (a new thing?) but cabin was spotless. And v comfortable

25/07/2026: If I could give this negative 5 stars I would. Travelling with horses sailing to England on the isle of innisfree boat, I was refused a cabin with a window. Constant announcements on the intercom throughout the journey trying to sell us products and services. The final straw was an announcement at 10.30 pm letting us know they had found a green jacket belonging to a passenger, this obviously woke me up! We have to drive through the night so as much sleep as we can get on the ferry is essential !! Not to mention the food is inedible! I’ve had to take this ferry plenty of times and it never ceases to amaze me how terrible the experience always is ! Highly DO NOT recommend.
