Commendations to man seating customers 👏👏 and male server behind bar (charged phone for me 👍) and Mark 👏👏 All staff working hard 🏋🙏
10/08/2026: Five stars all around. Popped in for late lunch / early dinner for a family of four this evening and we were greeting by friendly staff and a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food was delicious - the menu is extensive, including lots of gluten free and vegan options and great mocktails. Highly recommend the open house chicken burger!

22/08/2026: A charming Irish pub with a classic atmosphere. It was recommended by locals, and we weren't disappointed!
The service was friendly and helpful, the food arrived quickly and tasted absolutely delicious! We enjoyed it so much that we ordered a homemade dessert (even though we were already full). The prices were perfectly reasonable and appropriate for the quality of the food. The restrooms were clean and without any issues.
This pub is truly recommendable!!

07/09/2026: Tuna in salad was dry. The potato salad was swimming in mayo with no real flavor & there wasnt any nice dressing on the salad. The nicest part was the brown bread which was ordered as an add on. My other half had the soup which he enjoyed and the toasty was also ok.
06/09/2026: A well-located little restaurant combined with a flower shop and fishing tackle store. A diverse selection at fair prices. Very efficient and friendly service. Spotlessly clean. Convenient opening hours. Ample parking available.

Otherwise, nice dishes, bistro style.
14/07/2026: We sat down for food and had so many waitresses walk by not looking to find out if we wanted menus, let alone a drink. Finally got someone's attention and got some menus...and yet again was left waiting to give an order and this includes a drink order.
Then got an our order through eventually to a lovely waitresses. Our drink and food came quick enough but yet again was left waiting so long to give an order for some desserts. Even my son made a comment on why do they keep walking by and not asking if we want something.
There seemed to be plenty of waitresses in the place....... but to get fed or watered you may look after yourself or go somewhere with better service.

24/08/2026: Lovely food, lovely atmosphere and lovely staff! Great location for lunch or a coffee, coffee on the balcony overlooking the river barrow is my favourite spot in New Ross to sit, chill and enjoy a coffee! I'll definitely be back again every time I'm down in New Ross. Little tip, if you like chowder, order it here!

10/05/2026: I had a fabulous stay recently with my mam and my daughter.We were spoiled from the moment we arrived with an upgrade,fabulous food and dancing with a live band and the most amazing treatments in Asha Spa(Highly recommended!)and all the staff were lovely.We love it here as it has everything we need for the whole family to enyoy!Thanks

Irish ferries

12/08/2026: We sailed to Pembroke from Rosslare, it was busy on check-in but we had got an email telling us this. Staff were lovely. We boarded and exchanged the car key for the key to the cabin (a new thing?) but cabin was spotless. And v comfortable
25/07/2026: If I could give this negative 5 stars I would. Travelling with horses sailing to England on the isle of innisfree boat, I was refused a cabin with a window. Constant announcements on the intercom throughout the journey trying to sell us products and services. The final straw was an announcement at 10.30 pm letting us know they had found a green jacket belonging to a passenger, this obviously woke me up! We have to drive through the night so as much sleep as we can get on the ferry is essential !! Not to mention the food is inedible! I’ve had to take this ferry plenty of times and it never ceases to amaze me how terrible the experience always is ! Highly DO NOT recommend.

29/06/2026: Well, what can I say? There was no food because the owner wasn't there. Based on the other reviews, they should consider hiring a sous-chef, considering how often the owner is absent, or perhaps they're not dependent on the business. Therefore, I can only give two stars, as the only positive aspect was the waiter, who was friendly.
I would perhaps change the sign and remove the "Good Food" part.
