09/02/2026: We visited at 12,30 on a dull wet Monday morning and our spirits were immediately improved. A bright spacious dining area with fabulous views of the river and surrounding areas. Our servers were very capable and on their recommendation of scampi with chips and salad and a chicken curry with rice was ordered . We didn't have to wait long for it to arrive and the servings were generous. The food was delicious and the banter with staff and some other customers was lighthearted and good humoured . They are celebrating their 25 anniversary and look good for the next 25 ! Best wishes and we will be back !

25/01/2026: Brilliant food tho the plates didn’t match the description in the menu - specially the sides etc. Great fireplace. Service a bit slow, i think they were understaffed. Bathrooms need to improve a lot.

19/05/2025: Super good, one of the best places to eat on our trip. The service was incredible, attentive, fast, friendly, and correct. I also want to highlight the prices, better than in Dublin, with typical Irish food, both in quantity and quality. The downstairs is a small supermarket with takeout, and upstairs is the restaurant, a cozy and charming place.

02/02/2026: We had our wedding reception at the Upton Court Hotel 21/01/2026, and from start to finish the experience was absolutely amazing. Shane and all of the staff were incredible, so professional, kind, and attentive throughout the entire process. All dietary requirements were catered for without any fuss, and the food was outstanding, with many compliments from our guests. The guest rooms were nice and very comfortable, again receiving lots of positive feedback. From the moment of arrival, there was a lovely relaxed atmosphere throughout the hotel that put everyone at ease. A very special thank you to Shane for all of his support, guidance, and attention to detail, nothing was ever too much trouble, and it truly made our day stress-free and unforgettable.
