The best restaurantsof irish in Wexford

19/05/2025: Super good, one of the best places to eat on our trip. The service was incredible, attentive, fast, friendly, and correct. I also want to highlight the prices, better than in Dublin, with typical Irish food, both in quantity and quality. The downstairs is a small supermarket with takeout, and upstairs is the restaurant, a cozy and charming place.

20/04/2025: Grocery store with caterer/sandwich and pastries upstairs, very welcoming and cozy atmosphere

18/07/2025: I had the kids fish and chips and it was great portion and tasted amazing. My nanny got a spice bag and it was amazing aswell. Staff were really friendly.

22/10/2025: After taking this ferry dozens of times, i decided on paying the extra for club class this trip. Definitely worth it - you'll pay that amount on a coffee and a snack anyway, and it's great having more room and excellent WiFi.

09/10/2025: It was a pleasant trip with extremely friendly staff. Everything went smoothly.

15/10/2025: Weren't advised that the course was only playing 13 holes until arrival. Man behind counter fairly content that a tenner off was more appropriate than calling non members in advance to advise of course shortcomings. Long journey wasn't wasted as we played Bunclody which is a better course.

06/08/2025: Course was OK very soft to walk around in places ,but great day out ,and the rain stayed away for the 22 players in my group.

22/08/2025: Tables were sticky. Place felt dirty and old fashioned. Hardware supplies hanging up on one wall and stuff everywhere. Pulled pork was dry as a bone. Coleslaw was "substituted " with 1.5 baby potatoes rubbed around in some mayo and called "potato salad". Lamb dinner dry . Curry served in a bowl I haven't seen served that way since the 90s. Staff not very personable, but to be fair very young. Overall felt fairly cheated out of my money.

05/08/2025: Lovely spot, does nice takeaway. Could do with better signage for the menu when getting a takeaway as very hard to see the options.

03/09/2025: We had our wedding recently on Friday 29th August 2025 at The Upton Court Hotel. Thank you so much for helping John and I have the most magical wedding day. We are so grateful for your professionalism and the warm, friendly atmosphere you created for our guests and us. Shane and Beverley, you both were incredible during the planning process right up to the big day itself. You both were always so professional, quick to reply and friendly. Both Shane and Beverley went above and beyond for us to ensure we had the best day. Shane checked we were ok and that everything was the way we wanted on the day numerous times too, which was really appreciated! The staff at the hotel were lovely and ensured everyone was looked after. The food was absolutely amazing!! There was also no problem at all in facilitating those with dietary requirements. The teamwork of the hotel made everything feel effortless for us, allowing us to enjoy every second! There was plenty of space for our cake, selfie mirror, band and dancing!! The bridal room was beautiful and spacious with a double jacuzzi bath. The amount of compliments we received about the hotel, food and staff have been unbelievable! We also got some beautiful photos at Wells House which is only a short drive from the hotel. The house and grounds are stunning and make the most amazing backdrop for photos! 24/05/2025: best pint in wellington bridge for our 5 year anniversary
