The best restaurantsof italian in Galway

21/03/2026: It was great service, atmosphere, and I enjoyed their own lager as well. Yet, the pizza was nothing special and too sweet for what I would have expected.

22/03/2026: Fantastic service, the lady who served us was brilliant. Was kind enough to take our picture and very kind. Always a great experience coming in here and consistently amazing pizza. Atmosphere was great tonight as well and great music that put a smile on everyone’s face.

06/03/2026: Very impressed with the food. My seafood risotto was delicious. Fish cooked perfectly. Prawns gorgeous. I can't do spicy but the pieces of chilli were large enough for me just to work around. My Sisters pizza was delicious as well. Exactly what pizza should be. Cheese excellent quality. Flavoursome sauce. Floppy thin authentic base. Service wasn't great. They were lovely and friendly but just that even when it was quieter later on they seemed to forget about us alot. Also the restaurant should set up a seperate card tap for tips. They done allow you to add to main bill and ppl don't have cash much these days so management should do right by staff and set up a separate tap payment for tips like other restaurants have done. Downside..acoustics. it's one big large room and noise levsl is very high when full.

16/03/2026: I just want to say something to people leaving reviews here. Yes, sometimes the delivery might take a bit longer than expected — it happens with many places. But please don’t destroy the rating of this place because of that. The pizza here is honestly incredible. The ingredients are fresh, the taste is amazing, and you can tell it’s made with real care. Places like this are rare. I know this spot well and every time I want to order pizza, this is the only place that comes to mind. That says a lot. Also, the staff are great — the girl at the counter is always very friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better.

18/02/2026: Great Italian restaurant! The pasta was fresh and full of flavor, and the pizza was perfectly cooked with a crispy base. Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, and good portion sizes. Definitely a place I would come back to and recommend to friends and family. 🍝🍕

09/03/2026: The food was excellent and the atmosphere was ambiant, lovely soft lighting and beautifully laid-out. The service was a different story, however. My friends and I were thoroughly enjoying our meal when we were abruptly served our bill, while we were still eating our mains and well over an hour before close (people came in and sat down to eat after this incident occured). It very much felt like we were being hinted at to leave. However, since we had each bought a main and drink we decided to continue enjoying our food and wine (more than half of the bottle was still left). Not long after, a waitress came over looking for our payment at the table, while most of my friends' glasses were still more than half-full and little over an hour after we had sat down for what we thought would be a meal (I can't call it that as we weren't given the option to order desert, which we had wanted to do). If the previous action had been a hint, this felt like a warning that our time was up. Just to reiterate: this was still over an hour before close and some other customers had not even been served their food, so the kitchen was still operational as was the bar. Other customers who had been sitting down eating when we arrived were still there after we left. Looking around, it seemed we were the only table to be served the bill so abruptly, which felt uncalled for as we were polite all evening and caused no trouble. I will say that each of the waiters was polite and courteous, it felt like maybe they were pushed into urging us out the door by someone higher up since their manners didn't match their actions. Delicious food but I for one won't be back sadly as none of us felt welcome here.

02/03/2026: I’ll definitely come again here the next time I’m in Galway! This is a very cozy restaurant, the pasta is great and fresh, good portions. The stuff is great and very welcoming.

06/03/2026: I feel a bit mean giving 2 stars but we were very disappointed in the food !! The bruschetta was lovely and a generous portion. The pizza was not good. Very inauthentic. Cheese hard. Like they've used a cheaper option. It should be soft flavoursome mozarella Pepperoni very fatty tasting. But the dessert was the worst. It was a chocolate mousse. It tasted like it contained no chocolate. It was high sugar gloop. It tasted like cheap melted chocolate ice cream. Chocolate mouse is made with dark chocolate and eggs. Mill chocolate mouse is acceptable but it shouldn't taste like this! The staff member said they'd.changed their recipe..hopefully they'll change it back! On of the strangest desserts I've ever had in a restaurant. To be fair the waitress dealt with it extremely well and did not charge us for it. Good handling of a complaint is an excellent quality in a restaurant. They could easily pull up their socks and bring up their game here. But until then our experience was that there is far better Italian food elsewhere in galway.
