The best restaurantsof italian in Galway

17/02/2026: There's a lot off about how this place runs that really puts me off ever coming back despite the fact that the food is lovely. The queuing system when you come in the door feels entirely unfriendly to customers, because you have a limited time to pick from a huge menu and once you're in the queue it's really awkward to go back out if it doesn't suit your taste. I really don't understand why you wouldn't give people the dignity to have a seat and take their time choosing their food. When you are seated you'll have to look at this huge mass of people at the door. Genuinely curious why dough bros have this system in place. There's also never a good reason for gendered single stall bathrooms. It's unnecessary. There's also no signage for the bathrooms at all, which is wild to me. The food was great, but with all the awkwardness I'd personally be looking for other places to eat. My boyfriend has mobility issues and autism; standing up in a queue like that was stressful and painful for him, and if this restaurant utilised a more usual seating system, this could have been avoided.

17/02/2026: Have been waiting to visit for quite a while. Did not disappoint. Great pizza and very happy and attentive staff.

08/02/2026: The service was fast and pleasant, for Slavs it is an advantage that there is a Czech working there, and the food was quickly prepared and delicious.

06/03/2026: Very impressed with the food. My seafood risotto was delicious. Fish cooked perfectly. Prawns gorgeous. I can't do spicy but the pieces of chilli were large enough for me just to work around. My Sisters pizza was delicious as well. Exactly what pizza should be. Cheese excellent quality. Flavoursome sauce. Floppy thin authentic base. Service wasn't great. They were lovely and friendly but just that even when it was quieter later on they seemed to forget about us alot. Also the restaurant should set up a seperate card tap for tips. They done allow you to add to main bill and ppl don't have cash much these days so management should do right by staff and set up a separate tap payment for tips like other restaurants have done. Downside..acoustics. it's one big large room and noise levsl is very high when full.

27/10/2025: Absolutely disgraceful! We ordered from them via just eat because of the good reviews, but it was a complete disaster. Order placed 7pm for 8pm delivery, so plenty of time. As the order was still not here 20:30 we called and just got a yeah we busy so thats how it is, seriously? Food arrived 9:05pm so 2 hours after ordering and over an hour late and was of course cold. Disgusting service Disgusting delivery Disgusting food

01/09/2025: Just back from this Gem of a place. We ordered the Ruspante and A Veggie Calzone . Stunning food, will definitely be back and will be recommending. Staff were super lovely too. Thanks guys and gals !

18/02/2026: Great Italian restaurant! The pasta was fresh and full of flavor, and the pizza was perfectly cooked with a crispy base. Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, and good portion sizes. Definitely a place I would come back to and recommend to friends and family. 🍝🍕

07/02/2026: The prices were very high for what was served. Lasagne portions were so small for almost 20 euro. Pizzas were huge and the kids enjoyed them. The staff were very kind and helpful.

06/02/2026: It pains me to say, but this was top 3 worst carbonara I’ve had in my life. I should’ve known because on the menu said to mention if you didn’t want any cream in the carbonara. And this was on “the classics”. Cream? In carbonara? Outrageous. Also, it’s with pancetta, the traditional carbonara is with guanciale but that was still ok, I was willing to try the pancetta. Basically the carbonara didn’t have any flavor, not of egg, or cheese or meat, I kept adding pepper and salt to try and eat it but I just gave up and left most of it behind. To be fair the garlic bread pizza with cheese was good. Next day we just cooked a real carbonara at home to make up for it. Update: clearly you can’t leave an honest review here. We never even complained to the staff about the dish, as Lorella mentions on her reply saying that “they even offered an alternative which we refused”. Never happened. We left most of the food behind, paid and left the establishment. We weren’t even asked if the food was good or not. Very low to make up a story to justify a bad review. Says a lot about the management. For that, I’ll change my review of 2 stars to 1.

02/03/2026: I’ll definitely come again here the next time I’m in Galway! This is a very cozy restaurant, the pasta is great and fresh, good portions. The stuff is great and very welcoming.
