The Dough Bros

19/12/2025: Dough bros better than any Italian pizza I’ve had north of Rome. The dough was so fantastic. The toppings all Irish, the ham and mushroom is something I will think about everyday for the rest of my life. Being in Galway on a cold rainy day, enjoying a steaming hot garlic bread fresh out of the oven with their made in house ranch. I wish they paid me to write this review, but the truth is I’m doing it for free. Probably top 10 pizzas I’ve had in my life.
18/12/2025: Can't understand fascination and a long queue to this place. Was at their place in Galway. Had Christmas edition pizza, I think it was the first pizza I've tried, so salty that couldn't finish the slice. Later on decided to give it second chance and ordered some for the ordinary menu, wasn't that bad just good enough to eat, can't say - enjoy.

07/01/2026: Visited on the evening of the 6/01 and the waitress with the dark hair was very helpful. Excellent food everything was delicious. Tiramisu especially.
07/01/2026: I was yesterday night in this restaurant and I had a carbonara. 30min after I started to eat, I started to feel sick and since then I have been having symptoms of gastroenteritis (diarrhoea and vomitting). I am not sure if it were the eggs… the carbonara did have a different taste but I thought it was just the sauce.

27/10/2025: Absolutely disgraceful!
We ordered from them via just eat because of the good reviews, but it was a complete disaster.
Order placed 7pm for 8pm delivery, so plenty of time.
As the order was still not here 20:30 we called and just got a yeah we busy so thats how it is, seriously?
Food arrived 9:05pm so 2 hours after ordering and over an hour late and was of course cold.

01/09/2025: Just back from this Gem of a place. We ordered the Ruspante and A Veggie Calzone .
Stunning food, will definitely be back and will be recommending.
Staff were super lovely too.

30/12/2025: The food was great, my food came 2 minutes later than other therefore they gave me a free desert, very nice staff, all recommendations, you even get sweets with the receipt.
28/12/2025: One of the best Italian restaurants!!! It was very tasty! Our family loved everything! Pizza and pasta, but the squid was especially delicious! Thank you so much! I will come back every time!

29/11/2025: We live locally in the area and we tried this restaurant for the first time yesterday. All three of us ordered vegan dishes. These were the best pasta dishes we have ever eaten. I ordered the beetroot pesto which was delicious. Even the vegan cheeses they used were very good. It was so nice to see so many vegan options available. We will definitely go there again.
29/11/2025: Only ate at the restaurant, it's soooo good. Highly recommend. I think this is my fourth time here, gonna keep coming back.

30/11/2025: Maybe one of the worst italian food experiences I ever had. I went for classical Sicilian dish - Pasta Alla Norma. And it was more than disappointing. Use of garlic and strong garlic taste is key in this dish, I am afraid I did not taste any of it at this place. Also I as I noticed egg plants were not deep fried before adding the to the sauce, and there were no any fried onces on the top either.
My friend’s lasanga was as miserable as my pasta dish.
Staff were indifferent and bit rude, I assume that is how they wanted to create Italian kinda vibes there. Maybe good idea would be starting with the food’s taste though.
22/11/2025: Great food and experience overall! Just the smoothie, is actually more of a sundae/iced smoothie.

02/01/2026: I had a very unpleasant experience in this restaurant. I was down in Galway celebrating my birthday. I went in to this place and because I was on my own, the waitress brought me to table to the back of the restaurant on the right.
I was luckily given the menu! I was waiting for over five minutes to get the basics on the table; bread, jug of water...
After another five minutes without getting these basics, no service from the waitress at all, I got up from the table and went to her and found her chatting away to another waitress !!!! I said, I'm leaving this place as there is absolutely no service. She just said OK!
Absolutely shocking the lack of customer service here ! I took my custom elsewhere and had a fabulous meal in a beautiful place.
I will never go into Magnetti's again!
Overpriced and no service at all.
01/01/2026: I was so sad to see that the menu was changed and my favorite 2 pastas and ravioli are gone, they were the best I've ever tasted.
Today I had to change my order for the ducks pasta it wasn't bad but it didn't have the taste of the last times i came.
Such a shame and i am really sad this was my favorite restaurant in galway please bring the old menu back!

30/12/2025: Small portions of over priced very average food (lasagna was especially poor), food arrived at different times and service as if we were an inconvenience. Similar experience last September. Won't be back

04/07/2025: AMAZING food, gorgeous patio! Salad & seafood pasta was delicious, got the fish & chips the next night which I enjoyed immensely. Conveniently located & worth visiting, definitely recommend!!
