14/04/2026: I ordered a steak sandwich and a pot oftea from a pleasant waitress. What I got on the plate was nice chips, unfresh looking side salad, barely a pass. Egg cup of gravy and the steak sandwich!!! The so called steak had to be separated from the grizzle and fat, not fit for a slow cooker. Even finding tender meat was like removing fish bones. As I was cold hungry and tired I ate the salad chips gravy bread and meat scraps. Which I removed from the drizzle. After eating and before paying. I requested a word with the chef with the serving waitress as I explained that she did not deserve to hear my grievance. I made it clear that I had no issue with payment as I had already eaten. She pressed me as to what was wrong. I told her and pointed to the drizzle on plate. She disappeared. No chef appeared. I went to the counter and paid. I told the pleasant young bar tender I had afforded the chef an opportunity to hear me. He was disinterested as was the waitress. The pub was clean as were the toilets. The cost was €24.00. As it was not too busy. In my opinion There is no excuse for a chef to plate up such a pathetic portion whatever you wish to call it. To think Irish meat quality is considered to be very good. 05/04/2026: Went for dinner with my wife, absolutely terrible food. Steak sandwich was like chewing rubber and bruschetta was by far the worst I've ever had. Terrible experience

26/11/2025: Lovely little room we booked for a few nights in the heart of Dingle. Right above the restaurant but it was closed this time of year. Easy access to all you need, good room, comfy bed. If we come back in season we'd definitely try the restaurant.

03/09/2025: Nice place to have different types of food. We had chicken wings as starter that were marinated with hoisin sauce (Asian style) and we had the mussels in Asian style - also really delicious!

06/04/2026: Went there for food at Easter. We sat outside because we had a dog with us. We got a staff member to bring us menus, they said there could be a delay because of how busy they were. We waited 30 minutes, went in again to ask politely for someone to take our order. A staff member said of course he’ll be out now. 30 minutes later, still no one came outside. We had to leave, not served in over an hour. I understand they were busy, but a very bad showing.

06/05/2026: We had a wonderful meal at Fentons last weekend.We had the the Dingle Goat's cheese , my friend had the monkfish and scallops and I had the Black Angus Striploin , every thing was delightful . The staff are so welcoming and obliging - we are definitely planning our next dinner date already. It was very busy so reservations are advised .

07/10/2025: Nice little place. Had a quick chicken curry sandwhich during my visit, was petty good, had a great stay.

05/10/2025: Great takeaway cafe ! Amazing coffee , got a oat cappuccino. Although The space is a bit small they still do offer a few indoor and outdoor seats.

09/09/2025: Genuine old Irish pub with a lot of local characters. The Guinness was the best I’ve ever had, another level. Soon as you walked in the smell of years gone by. Friendly & intriguing. Sit in the snug.

21/08/2025: Tips & Improvements A very small café that offers a wide range of food and drinks despite its limited space (approx. 8 square meters of seating area?). We like the concept and the environmental awareness. Badger and Dodo's coffee is really delicious :-) Very friendly staff. Improvements The following point is certainly debatable. But €3.50 for a slice of banana bread, even if it was thickly sliced, is simply too much for us as tourists. Why not reduce the price a bit and sell more? We luckily found you on Google during a break and then went into the shop. We had passed by the shop several times before. Idea: The second sign in front of the shop advertising café and snacks was closed for us ;-) Use the window for further information or a printout/sign of a Google review. That works ;-) It would be great to know the story behind your shop. Perhaps place this in the shop? You could further differentiate yourself from others with a different exterior wall color/signs. Especially with the one in comparison. Much higher quality food compared to other restaurants! If we're ever in the area or in Ireland again, we'll stop by again :-) Please leave me a heart :-)

05/05/2026: 🚫SO RUDE⚠️Greedy... go to Murphys or Supervalu, Olde Sweet Shop, anywhere but here❌️ yes it was busy but my goodness I haven't met a pair that were as rude or as obnoxious in a long time. Ice cream was grand not near the best. Wanted your money and wanted you gone. I asked for a baby cone ordering for a group of five charged full price. A scoop my backside, its HALF a scope carefully scraped off and measured.. HALF .. genuinely. It was actually comical how mean they were. Never again especially with the competition for local ice cream. Keep your money and head in either direction and plenty more places to get ice cream and a smile. I waited 24 hours before I write a review so I have had time to think and reflect and not over react. Pure greed these two NEVER again. And before the owners come back and say we all get a bit flustered or a bit grumpy when its very busy, that was one hell of an afternoon of rudeness, if the kitchens too hot its time to get out. If this was my product on sale I wouldn't want them representing me. Owner has presumed i was passing through, I am not I am within the county. And the truth hits hard and yes I interacted with both members of staff
