24/07/2025: Absolutely blown away by the cake Quigley’s made for my wife’s birthday! It looked stunning, tasted incredible, and was a real showstopper at the party. Everyone was asking where we got it from and my wife couldn’t have been happier! What made it even better was how quick and easy their online ordering service was. Simple to navigate, great communication, and everything was ready exactly as promised. Massive thanks to the whole team at Quigley’s for making the day extra special. We’ll definitely be ordering again for the next occasion! 🎂👏

02/07/2025: Excellent soda bread! Came in for a bowl of soup (also very nice) and liked the bread so much we got a loaf for home. The innner covered courtyard is really nice as well.

25/05/2025: Restaurant is very nicely decorated, staff are friendly and efficient, but just my opinion the food wasn't nice and not impressed with the menu, much preferred the old menu much more choice. Portions a lot smaller and very expensive for what you get. I won't be rushing back unfortunately and I always loved Mario's 😔

21/06/2025: Weak across the board – not a restaurant we recommend We ate at Green Spice and were disappointed in several respects: • The ambiance is cold and uncomfortable – a small, poorly decorated space that resembled a better-quality snack bar more than a restaurant. • The service was poor: There was only one employee, who was obviously completely overwhelmed. Orders were taken rudely and without any interest. The whole time, you had the feeling he was also working in the kitchen. About the food: • The portion size was generally okay, but that doesn't help much if the quality isn't up to scratch: • The meat was tough, the sauce lacked flavor, rather mushy. • The appetizer arrived burnt and seemed like it had been reheated several times. • Side dishes like rice and naan require an extra charge and were disappointing in terms of taste. • Poor value for money – we paid significantly too much for what was served. • And to top it all off: Cash only, which was neither advertised nor acceptable in a restaurant of this price range. Conclusion: A disappointing visit in every respect. The food was mediocre, the service poor, the atmosphere uncomfortable, and, to top it all off, overpriced. Anyone looking for good Indian food with friendly service and fair dealing should definitely choose another place. We certainly won't be back.

09/05/2025: Recommend!! Very sweet little Indian who impresses with great authentic food. ☺️ The owner is very attentive and happy to have a quick chat. We loved it on our road trip there!

08/02/2025: Nothing short of disgusting. One measly chicken goujon on my wrap accompanied by what I’d say is a whom head of lettuce and the butts of a tomatoe. Chips were rock hard and half a portion. Wouldn’t feed it to a dog

02/02/2025: We went with our hen party and left disappointed. One of our party was allergic to mushrooms and made this clear, yet when her steak arrived it had mushroom on it. When she sent it back the new steak was burnt. When this was pointed out the staff member replied "okay" and nothing was done. She felt like she was being an annoyance, yet it was the staff who couldn't get her order correct and were making her feel that way. Those who ordered steak were asked how they liked it done but all steaks were cooked the same. One of our friends also waiting a very long time, 40+ mins for her food, we were all eating while she was there with nothing for ages. We were also overcharged and had to correct the staff and again were made to feel like an annoyance. As a Kilkenny local I hadn't ever been to Breatnachs and this experience wouldn't entice me back.

10/07/2025: This is a wonderful bakery in Co. Kilkenny that I visit each time I’m in town. There are so many deliciously delectable options to satisfy your sweet tooth! I’ve picked up this cake a few times, Chester cake (which, I’ve heard in some other counties it has also been called gur cake-Dublin and gudge-Cork). Whatever you call it, come get it and try their other offerings!

25/03/2025: If you want to enjoy the tastiest bread and cakes from one of the longest Bakeries in Kilkenny well pop into Keoghs and you wont be disappointed.

06/05/2025: Paid nearly €20 for a cold salmon and small salad just to get food poisoning an hour later. Filthy glasses,chowder and soup was watery and very poor value if i could rate a 0 star i would. Very poor, do not recommend, stay safe,eat somewhere else

12/06/2025: I'd eat it but I won't be telling people I ate it except for the fact I'm reviewing it. I. Only reviewing it because Google insists. I can say Domino's is fast and efficient in their ordering systems and cook times. They do have that done to an art form, they have just left flavour in the history books.

06/07/2025: The last two times I have gotten a takeaway and on both occasions it was horrible especially the rice you could tell it 2as in the box for quite some time never use them again

29/06/2025: Tasty food, great location, but cleanliness could be improved This place is very close to the shopping centre and Kilkenny Castle, which makes it very convenient. There is a free toilet available on site. From what I observed, most of the orders are for takeaway, but there are quite a few tables available for dining in. The food was good, and the waiting time was short. The only downside was the cleanliness of the tables. We dined in, and our table was quite sticky. I would understand if the place was very busy or understaffed, but we were the only customers eating in, and there were two staff members (not including the kitchen staff). They definitely had time to wipe the tables. Overall, I still recommend it — the food was tasty and worth a visit.

01/07/2025: €4.75 for a "flat white" from a machine is simply not on. The most expensive coffee I've ever had and it was awful. Plenty of lovely cafes in Kilkenny, go somewhere else.

26/06/2025: Popped in just as they were closing, and while they said it was no problem to get a coffee, I was really disappointed. I paid €4.75 for a flat white, but since the machine upstairs was being cleaned, it was made downstairs. When I tasted it, it was clearly not made by a barista it tasted like it came from a push button machine: weak, flat, and honestly not enjoyable. For that price, I expected a proper, fresh coffee made by a barista, not something that tasted worse than what you'd get at a petrol station. They shouldn't be charging €4.75 for a coffee that isn’t made properly. Definitely wouldn’t recommend based on this experience.
