12/12/2025: Fast food that tastes great, cooked right, friendly people (which was tough as there was a rush of customers when we were there).

20/12/2025: Delicious food and a very pleasant place. The food arrived within minutes and it was clear that everything was freshly made. The bacon cheeseburger was amazing. Everything is highly recommended, and the staff was very friendly.

22/11/2025: When a restaurant uses the metal baskets to deliver fries, you know you're not getting alot. I purchased the 3 piece chicken meal which comes with beans and coleslaw. My son had fish and chips. While the chicken had flavour, the pieces I received were very small. The chips were dry and had very little flavour. My son's fish was good in size but again had little flavour. A really nice place with polite and friendly waiting staff. I loved the seating booth, however, I'd be reluctant to return because the food was at best, avarage.

13/11/2025: Can not go wrong with this family run restaurant and chipper, always excellent grub and great service. It's a popular regular with my friends and family.

12/10/2025: Me and a friend brought our 2 small girls for afternoon tea yesterday afternoon. The room is beautifully done out. Loved the Alice in Wonderland themed afternoon tea. Would like more savory options, as these were very tasty and some things were overly sweet. However this is probably the way with all afternoon teas. Service was very good, waiter was very friendly.

27/07/2025: We visited this tea room with high hopes — hoping to have a lovely time and enjoy some nice desserts. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a disappointment. All the desserts were far too sweet. The cakes had a heavy buttercream, which I really didn’t enjoy. The Pavlova dessert had an overbaked, dry meringue. Overall, it just wasn’t worth the money

27/10/2025: The best in the business for fresh bread, sandwiches, teas and coffees at very reasonable prices. Great selection of buns and cakes too and the staff are salt of the earth. I will always be a customer of Keogh's

10/07/2025: This is a wonderful bakery in Co. Kilkenny that I visit each time I’m in town. There are so many deliciously delectable options to satisfy your sweet tooth! I’ve picked up this cake a few times, Chester cake (which, I’ve heard in some other counties it has also been called gur cake-Dublin and gudge-Cork). Whatever you call it, come get it and try their other offerings!

03/11/2025: If you are looking for a greasy chipper for some comfort food after a feed of pints look no further. Also don't bother ordering chips, they'll throw some in with whatever you order anyways

08/10/2025: If i could give this place no stars i would. €40 on 2 chips, a kebab, battered burger, and nuggets. Not only waiting over an hour and a half but the food was absolutely disgusting. The place deserves to be burnt out of the town. Never in my life I've tasted anything as vile as this and i love my food but this i couldn't even eat. How can the be loads of sauce on a kebab and the meat still be dry and the chips my god, the chips were like eating dirt off the ground. If yous couldn’t even get a bag of chips right id hate to see what the rest of the menu looks like. You country people should be ashamed to even say this is a kilkenny chipper. And when i pass by ill make sure to let yous know how i feel.

22/06/2025: Sister had day two of wedding in beer garden .we had great night with great music.bar man was one ignorant man.daughter asked for hit water to heat a baby bottle to be told .this is not a café its a bar.i asked for two drinks just before they finishen 10.55 he refused me.told me im looking at you for another hour.how he still working there with his bad attitude is beyond me.pity because its a fine pub.

24/05/2025: Very ignorant, power tripping, condescending male manager/owner in the back beer garden when approaching paying complying customers. There is a way to talk to people but small man syndrome is an awful thing. plenty pubs In Kk, avoid here

15/09/2025: The wife and I really enjoyed our meals from here.the place was busy which goes to show how good it is.portion size was fantastic. Only here for a few days but would highly recommend to anyone to try this place.please give it a try and prove me wrong.

21/10/2025: I ordered from this restaurant last night while in Kilkenny. I ordered Hot and Sour Soup, Schezuen Chicken and a Chicken Chow Mein. The delivery was fast, the food arrived piping hot and the chow mein was of a good quality and tasty. That was where this all stopped! The hot and sour soup had sweet chilli in it, and had an overriding sweet flavour that was not pleasant. This was more of a sweet and nothing soup and definitely not hot and sour. I then opened the 'Schezuen' chicken and to my absolute disgust this was again a sweet chilli chicken and not a schezuen pepper in sight. I rang the restaurant to see if i had been given the wrong dish in error and I was told 'No they do Schezuen Chicken with sweet chilli'! Well then this is not Schezuen chicken but sweet chilli chicken. The flavour was not to my taste at all, it was so sweet when all I wanted was the yummy spiciness of schezuen peppers. To their credit they agreed to get the delivery driver to come back to collect the food, as I was not going to eat either of these dishes, and I have just received my refund today also. If the schezuen & soup had been to the standard of the chow mein, I would have given this 5/5 but unfortunately neither were the dishes advertised.

14/09/2025: Lovely restaraunt to grab a bite to eat. Very friendly and helpful staff. One of the guys on duty had a great chat with us and gave my two lads a free 🎂.Will definitely eat here again next time I'm in Kilkenny!
