04/07/2025: Tuvimos una comida fabulosa aquí hoy en el bar Marble City, llegamos sin reserva y tuvimos la suerte de que nos sentaran de inmediato, Kevin, nuestro camarero, fue muy amable, servicial y paciente con 2 comensales quisquillosos, la comida era deliciosa y una experiencia encantadora en todos los sentidos, volveremos.

04/07/2025: En un viaje reciente a Kilkenny, tuve la suerte de pasar por el bar Marble City para almorzar. He visitado Kilkenny en muchas ocasiones pero nunca había comido aquí antes. Kevin, que era agradable, conversador y todo un caballero, me sirvió una comida deliciosa. Esto hizo que mi experiencia fuera muy placentera y tengo toda la intención de volver a venir aquí para comer.

23/09/2024: Fui aquí a cenar y tomé sopa del día que era de puerro y patatas y para principal tuve pollo. No se molestó con el postre. Realmente disfruté de la comida. El personal es encantador. El servicio es rápido y el lugar está muy limpio. También hay un ambiente relajante encantador allí. Está a solo unos minutos a pie del centro de la ciudad de Kilkenny. Lo recomendaría a cualquiera y volvería a ir de nuevo.

28/02/2024: Absolutely disgraceful behaviour from the manager/owner of this restaurant. We had a booking confirmation email that confirmed our reservation and were refused entry and basically told to leave because he claims they don’t do online bookings. Why on earth have a system set up where you can book online then? He was extremely rude waving his arms in the air and telling us we were wrong, even though his restaurant was empty and could have simply given us a table regardless of the mix up on his behalf.

19/10/2024: D'un point de vue français la façade ferait presque fuir (comme souvent en Irlande) mais il faut pousser la porte, c'est juste parfait à tous points de vue, ambiance, cuisine, rien à redire. J'ai fait beaucoup de pubs / restaurants en Irlande, celui-ci fait partie de mes préférés.

19/08/2025: I recently played two rounds at Mount Juliet during a short trip home — teeing off at 4:00 PM one day and again at 8:20 AM the next morning. I spent over €400 between green fees and buggy hire, expecting a top-tier golfing experience. Unfortunately, it fell well short of expectations. The front nine on both days was significantly disrupted by maintenance work. Grounds staff were actively working on most holes, and a maintenance vehicle followed me for three consecutive holes. Every time I lined up a shot, the vehicle’s engine would idle or start nearby — whether intentional or not, it was incredibly distracting and took away from the experience. Several bunkers were also in noticeably poor condition, which is surprising given the high standard Mount Juliet is known for. The worst part, however, was the buggy I hired for €60. It couldn’t reverse and had to be physically pushed multiple times during the round — completely unacceptable for a course charging these kinds of premium rates. I emailed the club three times over the course of more than two weeks and received no response. I had hoped for at least an acknowledgment, if not a goodwill gesture like a voucher or future round — especially as I won’t have time to return this trip. I’ve played Mount Juliet regularly when home, and I was genuinely looking forward to this visit. Sadly, the experience and lack of customer service were a real letdown.

02/08/2025: Recién llegado a casa un rato después de un gran día jugando Mount Juliet... me encantó el campo, aunque tal vez sea fácil decirlo después de disparar 79 gross / 39 pts. Los greens eran excelentes y el campo superó mis expectativas. . . sí, algunos trozos irregulares en calles, PERO el campo en general se veía muy bien y los greens eran excelentes. Desde que llegamos hasta que nos fuimos... el personal era increíble. Jovencita en la tienda profesional era acogedor, charlatán y servicial. El joven que hace de titular era acogedor, informativo y charlatán . . el joven en el 10o también amable y charlatán - buenas bromas sobre el rugby y finalmente Amber fue excelente cuidando de nosotros durante nuestra comida. Ambos si disfrutamos del Butter Chicken & Fish & Chips respectivamente seguido del helado Ic Cream & Brownie postres.

10/07/2024: Overall not satisfying experience. Food was dissapointing and bland. Definitely not recommended. Atmosphere was rude and unfriendly.

10/07/2024: Low-quality food for the price, unfriendly atmosphere, didn't feel very hygienic, disappointed with this place, would not recommend since there are so many places that are actually friendly and delicious to eat/drink in Kilkenny.

14/07/2024: Tuvimos un tiempo increíble en el brunch sin fondo. El servicio fue absolutamente increíble, y el DJ realmente añadió a toda la experiencia. Muy recomendable

19/06/2024: Honestamente, no puedo entender la alta calificación que este lugar ha logrado. Estábamos de despedida de soltera y reservamos las 2: 30 Ranura de almuerzo sin fondo el sábado. Era un manicomio absoluto con la música por las nubes. Terrible comida, asqueroso efervescente y cócteles acuosos. El comedor es una larga habitación estrecha oscura sin cubiertas en las mesas y sillas de mala calidad. Nos fuimos después de una hora. Si usted está pensando en reservar esto, debe conseguir uno de su grupo para ir primero para comprobarlo.
