20/05/2025: Hard to know where to begin.
So I will start by saying that:
The staff in this place (excluding the manageress) have an absolute disgusting manner and bad attitude in general.
Customer skills are almost practically non existent.
The 2 female waitresses (1 Romanian, 1 Irish ) on the floor should honestly just quit working in hospitality altogether.
Because they just haven't a clue how to deal with customers properly, professionally, and in an appropriate way.
Avoid this place altogether if you do not wish to deal with an environment that is permeated with bad manners, insincerity, and a hostile environment where staff are concerned.

14/05/2025: The hotel had very nice rooms and was in an excellent location. However, there was no air conditioning, and the windows did not open. Despite the comfortable temperature outside, the rooms were uncomfortably hot.
15/03/2025: Enjoyed a good stay here at the Hibernian Hotel. Very friendly staff at the reception and good location for restaurants. Breakfast was great - a good lovely Irish breakfast đ. One star less for the Jacuzzi in my room which didn't seem to work or did I just not know how to turn it on?? đ¤

17/05/2025: I had a great stay at this hotel and was really impressed with the overall experience. The room was absolutely huge, very well kept, and spotlessly clean â as was the rest of the hotel.
The food was excellent, with good variety and quality, and the staff were really friendly, professional, and attentive throughout my stay.
Itâs a lovely, well-run hotel that offers comfort, space, and great service. Iâd definitely stay again and would happily recommend it.

24/01/2025: Hands down the best Chinese food in kilkenny. I don't know if they have changed the cheff or meat supplier, but the beaf is unbelievable. Best fried rice and black bean beef I had in a long time. It was so good that I ordered three days in a row đ

24/05/2025: Unfriendly staff who prefer to talk to themselves instead of the customers.
08/05/2025: Be aware that the barista will ask what roast you would like your coffee to be. Once answered the coffee is done and you are charged extra for the blend. This should be explained at the time of ordering that it's an additional charge. My bill significantly increased with the amount of coffees purchased. Very cheeky and the barista just carried on when I said I should have been told. Will not be back. Train your staff better.

07/04/2025: I wish I could rate this business higher because they are kind enough to let you order before your Kilkenny tour and pick up after. The food was very bland. I got a pulled pork and it had no flavor. Perhaps I chose the wrong dish. However, my husband's sandwich did not look too much more appetizing.
25/03/2025: Pedimos 6 sĂĄndwiches para nuestra familia para disfrutar en el parque y estaban buenos. Pedimos sĂĄndwiches de verduras y queso, asĂ como jamĂłn y queso y un BLT. Los sĂĄndwiches eran grandes y estaban emparejados con papas fritas y una bebida, todos estaban contentos.

15/12/2024: Dine here quite often and I have to give it to the management and hard working staff of the Marble City Bar . Food is always delicious and freshđ .So compliments to their chefs . Staff go above and beyond to make your visit a memorable one âď¸. Love the atmosphere there .
