12/09/2025: i was having a really bad day today, but then iwent to supervalu ballyragget...it got even worse, i was on the brink and then i came in here and it pushed me over the edge, first i watched thru the doors and strolled to the deli, i asked for a chicken fillet roll and he got that, grand, i then proceeded to ask for egg mayo and he then proceeded to smack the egg mayo on the roll like he was trying to stick it to the wall, he then put the fillet in. he just put the fillet in, without even cutting it, i had to go home and cut it myself and preform the surgery on the roll there, not even cutting in half either, was absolute madness. I wonder had the man every seen a chicken fillet roll in his life

27/12/2025: The place was nicely decorated inside and clean looking. Service was nice. There was a guy behind the counter I think he might have been a manger or owner and he was lovely and kind of had a good vibe with other staff, which I appreciate. The food was very mediocre. I got an iced coffee which was ok. Kids got hot chocolates, which were average and a bit watery. The biggest let down was the wafer. In a place like that I would expect a freshly made wafer (esp.for €9), this was a hard store bought wafer heated in a microwave, no doubt. And even at that I don't think it was a good quality store-bought one. They sell the exact same ones in Lidl. We also got a cookie which was fine, but no fireworks. Paid €27 for a coffee, two hot chocs, cookie and wafer. Not a robbery and if the quality was good I would have thought it was an ok value. But it all tasted cheap and like if no effort was put in it. Overally, would not return.

25/09/2025: Attended as part of company lunch and Elise was very accommodating in making reservation. Upon arrival allocated dining area ready for our party. Great choice available on menu with orders taken promptly after arriving. Food delivered right on time with presentation and quality top notch. Variety of menu items ordered with good reviews of all from my colleagues. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

19/08/2025: Had a fabulous light lunch on the patio area. Signature steak sandwich, coffee and pear and almond scone. Can only say good things about the waitresses - jovial and patient. Food was excellent, pricing good and arrived promptly. A great little cafe above the strip so quiet and secluded with a lovely atmosphere. Coffee- flat white 8.5/10 - very good. A nice place to rest your legs after visiting the Castle or climbing St Canice’s tower.

16/11/2025: It's located inside a gallery. During our time exploring Kilkenny, we often stopped there for coffee. Excellent service, and I highly recommend the caramel macchiato.

25/12/2025: The venue looks well and some staff in festive clothing. The fish burger was just slapped together.

17/12/2025: Just ate from here an hour ago. Ordered at 19:34 , not particularly busy. Next thing i realise its 15 minutes later, my order number hasn't been called and they're onto orders twenty past mine. I go up and ask where my food is and the girl finds the bag left under the heat lamps, but still items missing. Another 5 minutes pass and I'm handed a bag of cold food. I handed it back in and asked for fresh food. Another 5 minutes pass and I'm handed my food again , fresh chips in on top. Go to eat the rest of the order. Nuggets and burger stone cold gone soggy, clearly left there from when I'd ordered , now 25 minutes ago. Tried to flag the hostess / manager in the white shirt repeatedly but was ignored. Spoke to a nice lad at the cash till who apologised but then said well these things happen. Not really good enough in my opinion spending nearly thirty quid on food for 2 people which was served up cold after a ridiculous wait. P.S. the grinch mcshaker fries, at 4.20 , are a disgusting rip off and taste lawful

09/01/2026: Great place to visit. Two very friendly ladies behind the bar, and great music on.the Saturday night,plus a very good Pint of Coors ,looking forward to calling there again, highly recommended.

09/11/2025: We were in Killkenny for my hens and wanted a cuppa and some chats for a relaxing afternoon and we werent disappointed!. Such a beautiful tea room. Nice and cosy . When we arrived we were greeted by Vicky. She was so attentive and friendly! Thanks so much Vicky from the ladies from Dublin !!! ☕️🧁 .

31/10/2025: This was an excellent t experience overall. The food was great and came out fast. There was a problem with the bill that I didn't notice but the staff caught it and went out of their way to fix it. It was nice to have honest people around! Ill come back next time I'm in the area.

11/11/2025: I was there on Saturday for dinner. I ordered the Japanese noodles. The food was cold and bland, the drinks were flat, there was dust and dirt everywhere. The staff were lovely and there was a Wonderful atmosphere but the food and drink was a let down.

24/07/2025: Absolutely blown away by the cake Quigley’s made for my wife’s birthday! It looked stunning, tasted incredible, and was a real showstopper at the party. Everyone was asking where we got it from and my wife couldn’t have been happier! What made it even better was how quick and easy their online ordering service was. Simple to navigate, great communication, and everything was ready exactly as promised. Massive thanks to the whole team at Quigley’s for making the day extra special. We’ll definitely be ordering again for the next occasion! 🎂👏
