17/09/2024: Typical Irish restaurant inside a hotel, but with a separate entrance. The food is more varied than the rest and a delicious duck with apricot and vegetables should be highlighted.
Dave, the waiter who served us, was very kind and made sure everything was right, wonderful!
Highly recommended if you are visiting Kilkenny!

13/11/2024: Lovely hotel, relaxed but attentive Irish service. Room very nice and whilst the bathroom was perfectly fine it was starting to look a tad dated. In the bar, Philipe was great on Monday evening, good chat as it was quite quiet and Helen on Wednesday morning who went out of her way to get some bar food early for me as I had a train to catch. She also sorted my taxi to the station. Will definitely be back.
14/10/2024: Located very centrally, but the room I had was over the street, very noisy at night. Rooms very basic no safe to leave valuables when going out

The Lime Tree cafe & restaurant
17/09/2024: Lovely spot, nice staff, great food. Full of locals, which is always a good sign. Shrimp tacos with mango salsa, yummy.
But....the toilets. They are seriously in need of a deep clean. Not just the loo, but the walls, doors, everything.
Spoilt the experience, for me anyway.

We visited while on a day out at the Discovery Park.
Had to write this review to commend the excellent food and fantastic service. Good value and very family friendly with an interesting menu a cut above the standard small town cafe fare. I would return to Castlecomer Discovery Park as an excuse to drop in again.
Highly recommend the Korean Chicken Wrap special!

29/09/2024: I went there once and tasted their kebab I can’t stop wanting to go back their döner kebab is very oily and soft and is very flavourful, they also gave food at no cost best kebab I’ve ever ate.

31/10/2024: 30/10/24 shower out of service inside and the outside shower is stinking and the water pressure is terrible. The urinals were out of service too. The bins were overflowing. Pretty poor visit considering it had a revamp recently when the M&S food arrived.

04/11/2024: Be warned - the rooms to this hotel are on the floor immediately above a night club. You will hear booming music and noise until midnight. The smoke alarm went off in our room twice while we were trying to sleep on top of everything else. The room and the bathroom were filthy. We were booked for two nights but left after one. Do NOT waste your valuable time or money here.

10/11/2024: Delicious takeaway in the centre of Graiguenamanagh, next to the Supervalu. Got veggie and meat mains, rice and two types of naan bread and all absolutely delicious. Very reasonably priced and lovely staff. Not much choice in the town so delighted this was so good.
26/08/2024: Telephoned in an order. It was ready to pick up right on time. We ordered an Indian meal. Food was tasty and well cooked. I would thoroughly recommend for a takeaway meal.
