The best restaurants in Kilkenny

09/07/2025: Great Restaurant, if you are in the area, it‘s a must try. The service is also top tier. I promise you wont regret giving this place a try. Though I think you get the best experience, when you eat in the restaurant, instead of takeaway.

25/06/2025: The food was very good and pleasantly spicy (just right). The service was very friendly and accommodating. There was no lassi available, so he prepared it especially for me. Thank you very much.

04/07/2025: A friendly little corner of Inistioge, The Otter. We felt welcome the moment we stepped in. Alan, family and Michael will not allow anyone to be a stranger. Everyone is welcome, no judgements or hairyballs😉. And the drink ain't half bad either. We will be back. 😊

30/06/2025: Stylish and old hotel inspired by the classics. The common areas were interesting and gave the feeling of something unique. However, as others have also written, the hotel could have benefited from a proper deep cleaning of the floors, walls, ceilings, carpets, moldings, etc. The room we had was cramped and smelled like an old gym locker room. The rooms were noisy and there were a lot of cobwebs. It felt a bit like being on a boat, as the floor was also moving and crooked. The sink was clogged upon arrival, and one of the towels was stained, and even though they said they would fix it, it was not done. Nevertheless, we had a good night, and let ourselves be charmed by the hotel. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was also nice. Be aware that there are several stairs (more than you think).

04/06/2025: Nice hotel in the city in kilkenny. Its bigger from the inside than it looks from the outside. Restaurant is also available. Service are very nice. Free carpark as well.. I could even leave my car till I was finish with work, what is a plus. Room are very clean and the matress are very good. Everything u need is there.
