12/07/2025: Ate here recently as I have many times before and as far as Kilkenny Restaurants go it's one of the best. Food is delicious. Priced very well and always very accommodating with tables even when it's busy they will try to fit you in for an hour and a half or so. Staff are very friendly. Great Restaurant. Would recommend to anyone looking to eat out in Kilkenny đź‘Ť

25/05/2025: I loved the Salmon, it was perfectly cooked, the whole plate was delicious. Also we tried the avocado toast, Fantastic. For desserts the pancakes and the panacota were amazing, great flavour. Really we enjoyed it so much, thank you!
18/04/2025: The food was alright, but was a bit pricey and took far too long to be sent out, to the point it was cold. The vibe was great but not amazing, still good. Not sure if id recommend, but it's decent food.

30/06/2025: Mid afternoon meal after a visit to Kilkenny Castle, enjoying Turkish kebabs and donner. The chicken was tender and especially nice with the side garnish. The fried bread was well made.

23/07/2025: Only went to the pub for food and drink. No overnight stay. The food was nice and the prices did match the quality and serving sizes. Fast and friendly service, even if some questions could not be Answered right away,but right after reconfirming with the kitchen of another staff member. We had no luck with the band. The quality of the performance was not what we expected and far too loud. You could hardly understand a word at your own table. A pity. Otherwise a nice place for a drink or a meal.
21/07/2025: A typical Irish pub in the very center of the city. If you want to feel the characteristic Irish spirit and atmosphere, then this is the place for you. The owner of the pub-VV Gerry will personally meet you and settle you in, and in the morning he will offer you a freshly prepared typical breakfast ) You will also be offered a delicious lunch. From fish and chips .... and to the standard ...
The rooms are clean and cozy. There is everything you need.
On Friday and Saturday, though, it is a little noisy, but this is an opportunity to feel the Irish atmosphere, listen to music and drink a beer in the pub downstairs)))

11/07/2025: Modest menu with a breakfast option (on eggs- only a scrambled egg option is available), some cakes, and some sandwhich and panini options. The card machine seems rigged to add around 5 Eur service charge and there is no table service. One orders and pays at the till first and then they bring it to your table. Sweet and cosy place.

23/09/2024: Fui aquĂ a cenar y tomĂ© sopa del dĂa que era de puerro y patatas y para principal tuve pollo. No se molestĂł con el postre. Realmente disfrutĂ© de la comida. El personal es encantador. El servicio es rápido y el lugar está muy limpio. TambiĂ©n hay un ambiente relajante encantador allĂ. Está a solo unos minutos a pie del centro de la ciudad de Kilkenny. Lo recomendarĂa a cualquiera y volverĂa a ir de nuevo.

Desafortunadamente, a la pizza que recibĂ le faltaba queso, ajo fresco, albahaca y un chorrito de balsámico. En cambio, tenĂa salsa de ajo por todas partes, algo que no habĂa pedido. Los ingredientes principales eran Ăşnicamente jamĂłn, pimientos y tomates. Me decepcionĂ© porque no recibĂ todos los ingredientes que pedĂ y paguĂ©. Espero que esto pueda mejorarse en el futuro. En caso de duda, pĂłngase en contacto con el cliente.

24/06/2025: I personally often got a coffee there during my work and travel. The barista was always very interested in foreigners and even spoke some German. Great coffee, always made with love. Can recommend, 5/5!
05/03/2025: This is a little gem great location with plenty of parking, the food was really nice and the staff were super friendly definitely worth a visit I would highly recommend I look forward to going back again

14/07/2025: Incredible staff. Rooms are comfortable and clean and modern enough. Great food and the town is beautiful... right on a river. The proprietor was very friendly and a great help. He helped establish the local rowing club. I got to take a look and it was great to see a proper rowing boat house.
08/07/2025: Set in a beautiful location beside the river Barrow. We were meeting up with friends, so we booked a table. The staff were so friendly and happy. The service was quick, the food was beautifully presented, and it was absolutely delicious. Had a wonderful time. Will definitely be back.
