03/01/2026: We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in the centre of Kilkenny. The building itself is beautiful, with a characteristic antique decor that makes you feel like you're staying in a castle. Our room was a pleasant surprise: modern, recently renovated, and very clean, with everything we could possibly need. Despite the historic feel, the room was very cozy. The staff was incredibly helpful, especially the lady at reception who gave us perfect tips for our evening out. We also appreciated the traditional breakfast and the convenience of the private parking. The heating system was slightly noisy, but it didn't bother us much or affect our sleep. Overall, a fantastic experience that we highly recommend for anyone visiting the city!

06/12/2025: Really great place. I visit for the board game nights on Tuesday and love the venue. Great staff - really nice, helpful and friendly. Facilities are always clean and kept to a high standard. Bar is very nice. Plenty of selection. Food is decent and the prices are reasonable. Lovely coffee also.

31/12/2025: Nice hotel Great location Lovely food The only real let down is the shower curtain. The thing was like a jellyfish, it kept coming in on me & clinging to me. Shower screen would be 💯 % better.

26/12/2025: Fairly spacious rooms. Not too fancy, clean and comfortable, with a pub and restaurant. A great atmosphere guaranteed! Pleasant and generous breakfast. Free parking.

20/09/2025: Got to experience the Friday night session with the musicians. Had a great time. Exceptional musicians and singers. One of the best nights we had in Ireland. Would highly recommend it.

19/11/2025: This place is an amazing hidden gem. We booked online and really had no idea what we were walking into . We flew in on A Tuesday from the states and we're very pleased with everything. Tish, Trish, and Mags were all very accommodating and extremely helpful with anything at all we needed. The owner was very nice as well. We had a great time at the session down stairs and met new friends there. Loved this place!!!! We stayed a week!!!

17/12/2025: Disappointing food experience here. Got burger and nachos for mains, both not great. Burger dry, nachos were lukewarm, bland and flavourless. Fries were barely warm and felt like they were sitting around for a while.

27/08/2025: Myself and my partner had dinner in Statham’s by Pembroke on Saturday night and to say the food was out of this world is an understatement, each course was prepared and served to perfection. The staff were so helpful and friendly, the atmosphere was amazing. This is a top class venue with the most delicious food i have ever eaten can't wait to come back again.

28/11/2025: I had a cesar wrap which was full and very tasty, served with about 8 crisps and tea. My friend had soup which was lovely and hot but a fresh chip, very obvious on a pink bowl..this is NOT ok. We said nothing as didn't see it until nearly finished our food. Staff lovely and not intrusive.

17/11/2025: We arrived on Saturday on our way from a wedding, the café was just closing but the ladies looked after us with some lovely freshly made sandwiches and pots of tea, that fitted the bill nicely. Very tasty and reasonably priced.
