28/07/2025: Dinner tapas. The serving staff were very polite and accomodating as we had ni booking on a Saturday evening. However, took an hour for the food to come. The "broccoli chips" dish was awful. Big heads of salt soaked charred broccoli heads with what can be described as taco sauce on top for 9€!
The mushroom tapas dish was almost like the kitchen was getting rid of their left overs from breakfast.
Really disappointed with the food here, won't be back
25/07/2025: Food below average, almost every lunch meal gets the same side salad and a topping of fried onions that were not mentioned on any dishes at all. Although it says foccaccia on the menu, don’t expect italian style foccacia but rather sandwich bread. Waited for food over 30mins a and then 20mins for bill to arrive (asked twice). Wouldn’t go back

27/08/2025: Myself and my partner had dinner in Statham’s by Pembroke on Saturday night and to say the food was out of this world is an understatement, each course was prepared and served to perfection. The staff were so helpful and friendly, the atmosphere was amazing. This is a top class venue with the most delicious food i have ever eaten can't wait to come back again.

03/07/2025: What an epic little café nestled into the medieval Kilkenny streets. The staff are super friendly, helpful and obliging. I love to pop in whenever I'm down in Kilkenny for some tea and a fancy pants coffee buzz. I've actually never eaten here but I've tried their CBD pecan pie, which is delish 😋 One downside is cash only, but I make sure to have some cash on me when in the city especially for Little Collins.

We had dinner there today. The food was delicious, the staff very friendly. Highly recommended.

Group of 41 people for 2 nights. Brian, the owner of the Waterside, arranged for additional B&B accommodation (right next door) to accommodate the entire group.
Located along the River Barrow, the setting is magnificent.
The rooms were comfortable and clean.
The Irish breakfast was fabulous. Both dinners were generous and excellent.
The Waterside comes highly recommended for its hospitality, with a big thank you to Brian for his kindness, professionalism, and his very friendly and helpful staff.

20/09/2025: A large and very nice restaurant, with several rooms with different ambiances. Very clean and scenic, a bit chaotic.
We didn't wait long to be seated and order, but unfortunately, both dishes arrived cold or barely warm. When the waitress asked if they were okay, we pointed this out, and she immediately offered to refill them, but we were very hungry and in a hurry, so we politely declined. After a while, the manager arrived and told us he would remove the most expensive dish we'd ordered (the €21 ribs) from the menu, but he wouldn't listen to reason. Truly kind and friendly. Mishaps happen; knowing how to treat customers is a choice. Congratulations.

31/08/2025: Such a nice coffee shop and the actual coffee was 10/10 - staff were lovely and Orla made one of the nicest coffees I’ve had in a long time! The galaxy cookie was delicious, definitely recommend and can’t wait to come back. Outdoor seating area is very cute as well
26/08/2025: The mangoes🥭🥭 are absolutely delicious, i only asked for 6,7 mangoes but got 41 for the same price. Great customer service. The shope owner Adrian also served me some freee eeffoc, beautiful experience all around.

12/09/2025: I'm often in Kilkenny for leisure and I stay elsewhere, however I thought I would give the club house hotel ago so booked two nights. There is ample parking around the back of the hotel which is a bonus, and if you've not been to this wonderful town before you are right in the heart of it.
To be honest I was a little apprehensive about booking this hotel, however the hotel has recently had a number of rooms renovated my room was lovely.
The breakfast was also great
Every member of the team I engaged with was polite friendly and genuine.
I would without hesitation book the club house Hotel

26/08/2025: Five stars for the almost unbelievable fact that you can get a tasty and filling soup and Sambo combination for 10 euros in Ireland in 2025. Friendly staff, quick service, the carvery lunch looked fantastic, with heaps of meat and sides stacked on a plate. Great spot.
