Lyrath Estate Hotel
12/05/2025: We stopped for lunch at the Lyrath Estate. It holds a special place for myself & my beautiful wife as we got engaged here many years ago. We were attended to by Amy who went the extra mile to ensure we had a great experience. Always a great experience at Lyrath Estate. Super friendly staff. Trevor & Tracy
09/05/2025: Gorgeous hotel. The grounds, the spa and service is fantastic. But most importantly, the breakfast! I haven't had a hotel breakfast so good in over a decade. Everything you could think of for breakfast was there and great quality. Lastly, the honeycomb tray straight from the beehive, amazing!

25/05/2025: I loved the Salmon, it was perfectly cooked, the whole plate was delicious. Also we tried the avocado toast, Fantastic. For desserts the pancakes and the panacota were amazing, great flavour. Really we enjoyed it so much, thank you!
18/04/2025: The food was alright, but was a bit pricey and took far too long to be sent out, to the point it was cold. The vibe was great but not amazing, still good. Not sure if id recommend, but it's decent food.

23/09/2024: Fui aquí a cenar y tomé sopa del día que era de puerro y patatas y para principal tuve pollo. No se molestó con el postre. Realmente disfruté de la comida. El personal es encantador. El servicio es rápido y el lugar está muy limpio. También hay un ambiente relajante encantador allí. Está a solo unos minutos a pie del centro de la ciudad de Kilkenny. Lo recomendaría a cualquiera y volvería a ir de nuevo.

23/05/2025: Had the most delicious caramel slice here, wish I had bought two 🥹 love that it’s cbd infused and vegan! Staff were lovely too, a must visit when in town.

04/02/2025: Downgraded from our booked suite due to it "being on an adult only floor of the hotel" (the website states this nowhere), still charged the suite price though for a family double!? Food is below average, do yourself a favor and skip breakfast.
A child vomited in the pool beside us and no attempt was made by staff to clean it up, I felt sorry for others who didn't witness it but then jumped headfirst into it :(
Pool / spa are awful dirty, none of the changing room locker doors work. If you like well worn you'll be happy out.
We won't be back.

26/02/2025: Wow really they couldn't do enough for you from the welcome in to the serving just saying to my partner the coffee normally comes way before your sandwich but omg we got a small pot of coffee hot just to top us us which never happens anywhere. Now forthe sandwiches which we got were fantastic tasty chips and salad also was really enjoyable yummmmy the price was totally fair for what we got will definitely be back when visiting the area again 😋
25/02/2025: Brilliant place for us visiting omg they could not do enough for us we had 2 cappuccinos while waiting for our food and something I never experienced was a little pot of coffee to top up ours just incase we went low on ours while waiting Brilliant it should be done in other places

23/04/2025: Overall a good experience. Food was tasty but the chips (fries) were right out of a frozen bag. For the cost and scale of this place hand cut chips would have been more appealing also they were cold to make matters worse. Staff were excellent, super nice and polite. Seats and table were lovely and comfortable. I would go back again and would recommend the steak.
28/03/2025: This was by far the best meal I have eaten in a very long time ! If you take a trip to Kilkenny you must visit the Statham‘s by Pembroke it is so worth it!

The Chicken Pesto is lovely. The Chai latte is not too sweet like other places. The Cheese cake on the other hand is a no go. Diabetes overload 🤭 (waaay to much sugar)
I would say the place does need a good scrub down and deep clean. Overall I would recommend.
03/03/2025: A nice chai latte was had, I didn't have food on this occasion but have eaten very good food here before. The staff are very attentive and social. We shall visit again
