07/10/2025: Not good hot sour soup tastless .Speciall Chow main not eternal?? Through it in where it belongs Spent 30 euro not happy 😟😟😟😟
22/06/2025: Unlike Arnold Schwarzenegger – I WON’T BE BACK! The premises isn’t very auspicious … but I went ahead and ordered three items from the menu … thought I try the place out … I got three disappointments. The Spice Bag was dry and overly salty with no spice … Szechuan Beef with a large boiled rice … the menu refers to it as ‘Hot & Spicy’ … but it was flavourless and boring … Sweet & Sour Crispy Chicken with fried rice … bland and boring … Portions were small … which may have been blessing … The only positive I have is that rice is available in standard or large portions. DEFINITELY WON’T BE BACK!

20/10/2024: Let us stand there looking at the menu deciding what we wanted for about 5 mins, only when we go to order does she decide to tell us there’s no pizza. Why wouldn’t you tell us as you stood there watching us?

Murphy's Grill

06/07/2025: Beautiful food but the service could have been better. We ordered drinks and they arrived straight away. We then ordered two mains and after 30 minutes had to ask where it was. We were told no food was ordered. When it did arrive it was really good. We then asked for the desert menu and that never arrived. So we decided to go to the till to pay only to have to track down someone so we could pay. Amazing food. Service needs an overhaul.
26/06/2025: I dropped into Murphy's yesterday for a quick lunch before heading back to Dublin. I had never been before and was pleasantly surprised. The bar/restaurant is lovely, lots of room but that's probably because it was mid-week so perhaps not overly busy. There was a lovely atmosphere, with it seems local people enjoying their lunches. The staff were very efficient and friendly. I ordered the starter Prawns Pil Pil along with a glass of Guinness. And this is were the experience faltered. The prawns were a disappointment. The prawns themselves were plentiful and cooked well. The pil pil sauce was dreadful and there was so much of it, the bowl was absolutely swimming with what looked like red oil, and some baby tomatoes and shaved garlic at the bottom. The sauce/oil was completely tasteless with none of the exected pil pil punch. However the accompanying sourdough was lovely as was the Guinness. The lunch was good value and the other dishes I saw going out looked great. So I may have been unlucky. Just a tip to the kitchen, Prawns Pil Pil doesn't need that huge amount of oil!
