02/03/2024: Such a great place for a party. We have used Roll n Bowl on a number of occasions for parties and it is always a great experience. The staff are so helpful and always go above and beyond to make sure that the birthday boy/girl has a super time. The gift for the birthday child is a lovely touch and not something that I have ever seen before.

15/10/2023: Went for a family lunch ordered the casserole we were told it would be ten minutes as it had to come from the other kitchen when it arrived very small portion sizes not worth the wait nice venue well staffed but bad service and average food wouldn't return disappointing overall definitely not 4 star

26/10/2023: I love the chipers always get takeaway got keab and pizza meal god it wasn't nice not much meat no salad as usual have fab salad on it chips not cooked very well and cold rang back in twice but no answer but hubby will be in soon and will say there's a guy in there not sure if owner does fab food

02/08/2023: I have placed two delivery orders with De-Laois-ious Kebab, and I must say I am extremely satisfied with their food and service. Both times, I ordered the chicken shawarma kebab, beef ciabatta, and a portion of chips. The portion sizes were generous, the vegetables fresh, and the meat was perfectly cooked, not overcooked. Despite being out of town, the food arrived in a timely manner and was still fresh. I wholeheartedly give them a five-star rating and truly hope that they maintain this top-quality food and service. I look forward to continuing to order from this fantastic establishment.

05/03/2024: [Editing per Google request] Visited this cafe this week with my parents, both of whom are elderly. The cafe itself is up a set of stairs which does have a disabled lift.... but the disabled lift doesn't work. The weather was fine so we decided to sit outside, as neither of my parents could climb the stairs. I was told there was no teas or coffees because the water had just gone. Understandable, but annoying nonetheless. I took a look at the menu board to order food and the first two items I attempted to order were "not available today". This was around 12pm so I'd find it hard to believe that they'd ran out of these items already. I ordered a single (albeit large) sausage roll with a few salads, a ham and cheese panini and a bottle of water and a packet of crisps. Came to €25.80 which is very poor value. I will not be back. The glasses provided for the water were also dirty. It seems that cafe management could do a lot worse than read the reviews here and elsewhere and take onboard the inputs of their growing list of far from satisfied customers. It's all actionable feedback. It's a real pity because the cafe building and location are fantastic. Anyways - here's the comment I was going to submit directly to the owners: Can someone in your organisation take a look at the comments on Google for your Emo court location? Seems like there's some low hanging fruit in terms of actions for management which could avoid further bad reviews for your cafe. Feeding back directly on the comments is a low bar expectation of cafes and restaurants like yours these days. From this remove, your lack of action / interaction comes across as apathy. Not a good look for a customer facing organisation like yours.

03/03/2024: My mum, myself and my 2 daughters had a fabulous afternoon tea here. Two of us have coeliac disease and our food was lovely, very impressed. We all had a nice range of food. Lovely ambiance and nice staff. Definitely recommend 👌

31/03/2024: Garlic dippers were excellent. Chicken dippers/tenders were poor quality. Ordered half and half pizza. One side had black olives and whoever made the pizza fired 99% of the olives on one slice and a few scattered on the other slices. Laziness

06/01/2024: I absolutely love this chip shop. Great service and food is always fresh and very good, and to make it even better, they do great midweek deals you can get a lot of food for your money which is great when your feeding a large family. They never scrimp on the portions, which is great. This chip show is about a 10 minute drive from me and I go here even rather than my local in my own town which is 2 minutes away because the food is freshly cooked all the time the portion size is great and the amazing deals they do and when your feeding 5 adults it can save me the difference of 20 euro buying here as to buying in my local so its a no brained. 100% recommended the Golden Grill in Mountmelic.

06/01/2024: Got a southern fried fillet burger tonight and it was as hard as a rock. Absolutely horrible and usually there food is OK. 😡 Rotten

01/04/2024: Would definitely recommend this place . Best Chinese in portalington. Their spice bags are a must have and curry sauce doesn't taste watery . I always get either spice bag, the 12 chicken ball meal or singapore noodles . All prices are very reasonable and everything always comes warm and tastes lovely. Kevin is always it kind and talkative to customers .

24/11/2023: Please don't order from here, food took an hour and 20 minutes to arrive, specific instructions left on the chefs note online were not adhered to or looked at. Food was awful and greasy, dishes did not taste or look like dishes ordered (Chicken Schezuan ordered and Sweet and Sour chicken was delivered). Online ordering platform does not give any detail on any dish, prawn toast ordered came drowned in honey sauce but the addition of honey sauce was never mentioned. 4 in 1 came with boiled chicken, no option to order anything else nor was is mentioned what chicken comes with the 4 in 1, requested chicken balls in the chefs notes but this was ignored and boiled chicken was recieved. Food was also barely warm but after waiting nearly an hour and a half for food we had to make do. Will never order from here again.

18/03/2024: Staff were just rude, made us feel very unwelcome with how hostile they were, managed to make us feel wrong for just asking for vinegar and still managed to cook our pizza wrong. Would not recommend!

15/02/2024: 4.33pm 3 of Just making our way over from the car park to get a coffee after our bog walk, girl behind the counter clearly saw us approaching counter & proceeded to pull down the shutters. Website states open until 5pm. Very disappointing 😞
