The Make & Mark

29/10/2024: Hi. Me and my friend got nachos for starters, along with a make and mark burger and sizzling prawns for main. The nachos were very tasty! However, the make and mark burger had no seasoning whatsoever. One of the most plain tasting burgers I've had at a restaurant, even with the sauce on it. My friend thought the sizzling prawns were very nice, but did have better before. Staff are very nice though and the setting is nice too. In terms of pricing it's actually pretty good too compared to other restaurants of the same level. 6/10 recommend.
26/10/2024: We had our sons Christening afters here, there was a big group of us, the service we received was second to none, the food was also delicious, massive thank you to our server Edel, you really made our day so seamless, would highly recommend.

29/09/2024: Went in for 1 ended up staying a lot longer. Lovely to see the place done up and buzzing with a great atmosphere. Get in early to get a seat. It's a busy place now.

08/10/2024: The food is hit and miss, especially muffins or any of the cakes, they are not always as fresh as the should be.
22/09/2024: I usually avoid Costalot Coffee because it's such a ripoff but it was the only place open so I bit the bullet. Should have got a petrol station takeaway. Slow service, girl serving had very little English and didn't know what she was doing, portion sizes are outrageously tiny. The table was hadn't been wiped down. My sandwich was tasteless. Coffee was OK. I won't be back.

Dick and all the staff were friendly and the portions really generous. Dick was so welcoming and we had great gardening chats. Will definitely return

09/05/2024: A really great hotel restaurant. I had the seabass risotto and it was absolutely delicious. It was creamy but not too heavy. The fish was perfectly cooked and the whole dish was fresh and tasty with beautiful presentation. The service was great and the ambiance was really nice.
