02/09/2025: Iv been to drive tru a few times . But this is my first time ordering and eating inside (super mac's).
Ordered food then went to find a table altho there were a lot of tables empty either tables food of ppls empty wrappers another table the floor was all wet from a drink falling on the ground . Another under the table the floor had all spilt food . Altho there was a girl who eventually came out and cleared the tables she never mopped up all the liquid on the floor nor did she sweep up the food under another ,think il stick to the drive tru

06/08/2025: The Donner Kebab takeaway was Fantastic. Really fresh and very tasty. I usually ask for the salad and sauces separate so I can enjoy the great taste of the meal. Staff are very obliging and friendly.

24/07/2025: It's far from OK. My advice is to go personally and get your food, because I'd you order a delivery there sure to forget something or it'll be cold and soggy, portions have gotten smaller and smaller but prices continue to rise, but I suppose that's down to the war in Ukraine aswell🙄, UPDATE! food portions of late are shocking small, the fresh fillet is far from fresh and very far from being a fillet, burgers, sausages and chicken look like they've been bought in aldi, prices have gone up yet again, save your money and stay away,!

15/06/2025: Yesterday i entered fuel coffee for a acai bowl they made me unAWARE that there was peanuts in there acai bowl, not knowing this i started digging into my bowl shortly after this i took an alllergic reaction as im severely allgeric to peanuts not a good experience

15/07/2025: I use this cafe a lot as it’s my grandson’s favourite in Portlaoise. But I have to ask, why can’t the toilets be kept clean? They are always in a really bad state, toilet paper all over the floor and puddles, of hopefully is tap water. It’s a shame as otherwise it’s a nice place.

27/06/2025: We ordered a combo (soup and sandwich) and the soup was fermented (had that kind of vinegar taste when the food has been in the fridge for too long). We said it to the owner and didn't care. She charged us the same amount of money even though we didn't eat the soup and not even apologised.
23/03/2025: It's a lovely Atmosphere and food is exellent and service is 10out of 10 highly recommended well worh visiting 😀 😋 😄

13/08/2025: I called into Phelans restaurant in Mountrath on Tuesday 12th August on my way back to Armagh and was greeted by a smiling young girl who made me very welcome,
I ordered a cappuccino which I have to say was probably the nicest one I've ever tasted,
I had a ceasar salad which was also top class, when I went to pay a second smiling young girl was nearby, it is a rarity to get staff as pleasant as I met yesterday, top marks all round for your restaurant,
I will certainly call again when passing through,

10/08/2025: We got food from phelans to delivery for my Mam birthday meal yesterday the food was so warm and they were so helpful if we need anything and especially they helped us serving out all the desserts

12/06/2025: I had ordered a Scechuan mix fried rice to be delivered. I always order this dish whenever I'm in the restaurant. Anyways I specifically mentioned that I need Scechuan style but unfortunately they delivered a regular mix fried rice. I then called back and they said that I should mention 'extra spicy' whenever I order Scechuan. I thought the word 'Scechuan' means extra spicy.

07/03/2025: Roma Gracefield.. Pizza and chips were absolutely delicious 😋.... Everything was as asked for, even though we rang to change our order, they were so helpful and accommodated our changes with no issues,,, can't believe we have been ordering delivery from the other Roma on main Street which is the one with bad reviews (not this one) and didn't realise this was here! Delighted to have a new takeaway with amazing food!
I have pictures but no option to share but honestly pizza is unreal and crust is amazing... 100% ordering again 🍕🍕👍

24/07/2025: Went recently and I was delighted with the food. It was very quiet as it was a Monday evening and we were eating in the restaurant. Food came out quickly and hot, great portion sizes and it was all super tasty. The beef was soft and the chicken was delicious. The staff were all lovely and the cost was so reasonable. I'm from Dublin and wouldn't get a meal like that for 3 people for less then €100 and it was just under 80.
People giving bad reviews of the delivery of 'spice bags' should sit in and have a proper meal. Will defo be back
