02/02/2026: So lads, was delicious especially the kung po chicken, but by Jesus they aren’t generous with the sides, chips and rice. Left hungry and went across the road to Rio’s for a battered sausage. Apart from that 5 stars lads for service and flavour.

13/03/2026: We had a blast🎊🎊🎊 we had a friend from Kansas visit and we chose the Sally's for the night, it was the best choice. It was karaoke night, we meet a wonderful group of people, the service was excellent, and the music, just what we needed. My friend was so exited with the atmosphere and all. Highly recommend the Sally's

16/10/2025: Love coming in here apart from one issue.. staff. In fairness one in particular. Don't know her name, middle aged lady with short blonde hair. Anyway each time we go in there we are made to feel like we are an inconvince to her. Never a nice word or a thanks. The others are lovely to be fair but I seriously hope whom ever she is has a better day the next time we are in.

24/06/2026: Best place in portoase for kebab

01/06/2026: Food is terrible, it wasn't even just one item, everything was awful. Chips had been cooked at least twice. Pizzas were burnt. Chicken kebab tasted of nothing and the tenders were so hard I could've tunnelled out of a prison with them.

26/06/2026: Overall a nice place to grab a quick lunch. Our experience was exceptionally good due to the female staff member who was working yesterday during our visit around lunch time. She was so bubbly and friendly!! Our food was quite nice too, standard subway. The cookies looked really good.

14/07/2026: I recently visited this Costa Coffee and was extremely disappointed. The Issue: A female staff member wearing the official Costa uniform was sitting right at the open main entrance and smoking. The Impact: Because the doors were wide open, the disgusting smell of cigarette smoke was blowing directly inside. The interior smelled absolutely awful. Price vs. Quality: Costa charges premium prices, but the atmosphere in this branch was worse than in a cheap, run-down pub. I absolutely do not recommend this place. Management needs to teach their staff basic respect for customers and common sense hygiene. Completely ruined my coffee experience.

12/07/2026: That was possibly the worst latte I have ever had. Hot milk with a token taste of coffee. I left it behind me. €4.50 that I should have given to a homeless person.

03/05/2026: Don’t judge this place by its cover—while the entrance and décor might feel a little dated at first glance, what’s coming out of the kitchen tells a completely different story. We had a genuinely lovely family meal here. I went for the Szechaun beef, which was full of flavour. My wife’s sweet and sour chicken was equally impressive. The kids’ meals were a big hit too—always a good sign for a family outing. But the real standout for them was the milkshakes. In their words, “the best milkshakes ever,” which is about as high a compliment as you’ll get. All in all, this is one of those places where the food far exceeds expectations set by appearances. We’ll definitely be back.

15/03/2026: We booked a table today for 5 o clock it was our first time here and they certainly didn't disappoint, upon arrival the lovely friendly staff gave us a warm welcome, very attentive and polite. The food arrived quickly and it was delicious, we all enjoyed it. No complaints whatsoever. I would highly recommend it and we will definitely be back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Thanks for taken good care of us.

19/06/2026: I’m a Kerry man up for feile and I said I’d get a cbinese and I called into royal garden oyt the Dublin road port Laois and yvonee was at the counter she’s the soundest lady you’d come across and the food is savage highly reccomended the spicebag

10/05/2026: Best traditional chipper in town. Miles better than Roma on the main street. These guys actually care about putting out good food. They are also sound and always good chat in the shop while you wait. Good guys and good food.

20/06/2026: Hi had the roast beer on day 1 when I arrived which was really good and a large portion. The second day I had a chicken burger which had a curry based breadcrumb. It was quite dry.

28/06/2026: Bar Food: The chips were lovely. The wings very chewy and flavourless. The steak in the steak sambo was extremely fatty. Bar Service: The hostess was nearly disappointed when I asked if she had a table for 2, even though I could clearly see there were a few free tables. We then waited a long time for our order to be taken. I went up to the bar to order our drinks due to the wait.

16/05/2026: Our experience was amazing. We are returning customers. Our server Tara was outstanding and very lovely. Food was nice and fresh. Very good deal on 3 courses for €49.50 which is great. Will be back again.
