26/07/2025: Nice little cafe / cake shop. We had a nice breakfast served with plenty of tea and a very delicious homemade brown bread. The service was very promt and friendly and we will be back again. Their fruit gur/ chester cake is to die for.
15/07/2025: Excellent cafe with friendly staff. They were very accommodating for my young children and the food was wonderful - I can recommend the club sandwich!

06/08/2025: In March I had my partners 55th Birthday 🎂 We had a lovely time with family.
We had Carvery lunch and it's our favourite. Staff very friendly and professional. Food Delicious 😋

27/10/2025: 2 of us arrived and even though they were mad busy. The lovely staff fit us in for some food and gave us a gorgeous roast beef dinner. I'd highly recommend here for food for anyone passing or in the area.

20/10/2025: Great venue to stop in on the way to The Kingdom. I got a burger in Supermacs, but there's also sandwich or carvery options on one of the other food areas. There's never enough seating, as I've always found it to be busy.

We ordered from Ruchi Portlaoise last night, and it was a disappointing experience. The delivery driver didn’t even call and gave our food to someone else in the opposite apartment. After 45 minutes of waiting, we called, and he kept repeating that he’d delivered it to ‘some lady,’ offering no apology. He first said he’d deliver replacement food tomorrow, but when we asked what we were supposed to eat at 10 PM (we ordered at 9pm) he agreed to reorder and deliver. The replacement arrived in 15 minutes, but the quality was awful. The spicy chicken wings were half-cooked, tasteless, and just dusted with chili powder. The makhani chicken had watery gravy with hard chicken pieces, and the naan was undercooked. The egg fried rice was the only decent item. I’d like to speak to the owner about this. Overall, terrible service and food—avoid unless they improve.

03/09/2025: Had a wonderfully delicious lunch here today. Half a chicken and chips and salad was extremely tasty and the homemade soup of the day was to die for. Very friendly staff too. Thank you for looking after us and sending us on our way with fully satisfied bellies 😃 😊
